Released

pdComp v0.2.2 Changelog

pdComp v0.2.2 focuses on court depth, California-style charge coverage, customization, and a cleaner MDT/tablet experience.

Court System

  • Reworked court outcomes with more factors behind the scenes, including repeat history, charge count, evidence quality, defense counsel, and case context.

  • Added automatic fictional court personnel assignment, including judges, prosecutors, and defense counsel with different styles and tendencies.

  • Added richer court result notes so outcomes feel less repetitive and more like case-specific rulings.

  • Polished the Court Docket UI to present case information in a more user-friendly way, with less visible “dev logic” and better detail readability.

  • Updated case labels to use State v. Suspect.

Charges & Citations

  • Expanded the California-inspired charge and citation catalogs with broader coverage and richer notes.

  • Added user-facing notes to charges and citations to explain when each item should be applied.

  • Improved modifier/enhancement support so users can keep base charges simple while still adding aggravating facts like weapons, protected victims, priors, injury, and similar factors.

Customization

  • Added localization support through an editable localization file for UI translation.

  • Added support documentation for custom charge, citation, and court personnel catalogs.

  • Added optional config settings for ID and license plate autopopulation.

  • Changed officer “badge” terminology to editable callsign.

UI & Quality Of Life

  • Dark mode is now the default.

  • Polished light and dark mode colors across the interface.

  • Added help buttons to the arrest and citation workflows with quick explanations of terms like wobblers, enhancements, appearance-required citations, and related concepts.

  • Improved snapped/resized window layouts, especially ped lookup fields.

  • Improved scrolling behavior across major pages so content stays inside the visible window bounds.

  • Updated desktop background and bundled app icons.

Fixes & Stability

  • Improved ped photo cutout behavior and reduced cases where UI layers could obscure the image.

  • Cleaned up unused/dead code and removed stale config references.

  • General performance and UI snappiness cleanup.

plugin is WIP and features will change/evolve/disappear throughout development as I strive more maximum stability and functionality

@CossackGames bro is it possible to add illegal tint and underglow citations in the new update? I'm loving the windows background too!
