1.2.0.0: Customization Update

 

Added:

  • Language support for English and German
  • Added possibility to create own language configurations
  • Added possibility to change unit names (in language file)
  • Added possibility to change own unit name (instead of just "You" you can now have something like "2 ADAM 5")

 

Bug Fixes:

  • LSPD:FR will no longer crash after trying to use the plugin without Ultimate Backup. Sorry for this really annoying issue, and thanks for reporting.
  • The plugin will now work consistently after using it
  • Fixed minor bugs such as typos and design flaws

Can you please add ultimate backup special units as ai response like gang unit or DOA

Could you add this mod so that it uses the Ultimate Backup drives and not the LSPDFR ones?

You can change it to UltimateBackup in the configuration file.

I only have Keybindings, Respond radius, max units, debug mode and read out units

Oh sorry, you're right. I added that feature but I haven't published the new version yet. Right now AI:Respond should detect UltimateBackup automatically and attach UB Units instead of the vanilla units.

hopefully in the future we'll be able to call specific units like a gang unit or more importantly detectives and supervisors! love the mod it makes responding to calls with backup much easier

You installed it incorrectly. AIRespond files goes to plugins/lspdfr directory. AIRespond is not a Rage Plugin. Its a LSPDFR Plugin.

Hey the mod works good

but i have a Problem the EUP peds spawning at scene... When I arrest somebody and there stand to close i get him Stoped by Stop the Ped Mod like he is an Civillian?! is it Possible to stop this ?

Yes this is correct, thank you for your advice. AI:Respond places a waypoint marker since version 1.1.

Amazing Mod, just wish there was more variety like FIB Agents, army, and more it would be very insane if a update with more variety came out.

Not sure what causes it, but on a few occasions I will go to ask backup to respond, and it will say CHARLIE-11 or whatever responding, but they will never show up on the map. The waypoint is added like they are responding, but the unit itself is never spawned in. I tried adding like a few more units, and none spawned, but sometimes it does work? Most of the time this doesn't happen though, so I'm not sure if it's a conflict with a mod I'm using or whatnot. Thank you though, because this mod is pretty awesome!

 

EDIT: Actually seems to happen 50% of the time. Again, not sure if is something where it doesn't like the callout or maybe the vehicle but yeah. When it works though, it's awesome.

Yes, it is set on the same marker the callout is on. For example, the homeless abuse callout from TACSIMS Casual Callouts. I request units to respond, it says they are responding (attached to the call on the left-hand side), the marker is placed at the same location, but they never spawn in. I've also tried setting the marker itself beside the call location as maybe it didn't like the original callout marker, but even still they don't respond. I'll do some more digging and see if I can find a commonality when units don't respond.

Okay interesting. Could you please try to set the debugmode in the configuration to true instead of false and attach your log? Thank you in advance

Yeah next time I can do that. I've turned down the respond radius, setting it to "RespondRadius = 600." With this, I've had a LOT less issues with the AI disappearing on spawn, so I do think it is some conflict with Ultimate Backup perhaps. Unless the dots for the backup responding happen to be the same dots used by that mod. Also something worth noting is that after they do disappear, when you try calling in additional units, they don't spawn at all. Only the first one spawns and then disappears; the others don't spawn at all yet they say "responding/attached" on the side of the screen.
