Welcome to Dynamic Lighting System, a full-fledged light control system that allows for in-depth control of the vehicle's lighting system.

DO YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH DLS?

Read all documentation included with DLS and verify any custom XMLs you made to make sure you haven't made a mistake while editing/creating configurations.
If still giving errors, post it there or on my Discord Server or as an issue on the GitHub repository.

DLS IS OPEN-SOURCE!

DLS is and will always be an open-source project and nothing around it will be behind a paywall.
If you're someone with C# experience or programming experience in general and feel like contributing to DLS the help would be surely appreciated.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

DLS is not compatible with ELS as of release and there are no plans to support them.
All vehicle configuration is set up in an external .xml file and allows for vehicle developers to still share the vehicle as functional non-ELS vehicles with all regular features.
DLS is still in active development and future features are already planned.
Do not post questions as Reviews as I'll not be able to answer it properly that way.

Each vehicle has to have a config file to work properly, there is documentation included instructing on making these.

Suggestion 1: Add secondary keybinds

Suggestion 2: Add ability to turn off the siren when near the driver side door
Suggestion 3: Add ability to change siren tone of non-dls cars.

Yes, there are configuration files in the form of an xml file that require you to make them to work properly, this tells the game what its flash patterns will be on stage 1-2. As I said before there is instructions included showing you how to make them properly.

Question can you use this plugin and still use ELS? cause there are some non-ELS vehicles that I would like to use with my ELS vehicles.

I'm sure I'm missing something, but can anyone tell me how to customize the AI Yield to Vehicle per stage setting (Issue #17 in the change log) for DLS? On half my cars, AI yields to everything, including cruise lights. On the other half, they only yield to stage 3

Have you read the readme yet?
Install it into your plugins folder and make sure RPH loads it after LSPDFR, load it manually in your console to do that
configs go in the DLS folder, it comes with an example config made for the default police slot

No but there is a readme
Drag the folder named plugins into your root directory, remove "police.xml" from the dls folder if you dont use the default police stanier

when you load into the game type "loadplugin dls.dll" into the RPH console, if you tell it to load automatically your sirens will not work properly

Hello! I have a problem like this: Your mod does not work correctly for me absolutely on all machines except the usual "police" car. At the same time, flashing lights disappear on her roof (attached a screenshot). Perhaps I did something wrong during the installation. In general, I hope youcan help me.

Exactly like it. This is much different from ELS, though. Since I don't think it uses extras, there is more customization (like Non-ELS) but it also acts as an ELS for any Non-ELS Vehicle (no config needed!).

This is only half true, each vehicle requires a special made config if you want light stages. Without a config this is a simple siren controller.

It works with any non-ELS vehicle.

So technically speaking this is basically ELS but without needing ELS basically?. If you add a new standalone police vehicle do you need to add it in your mods configuration settings or something along those lines?. I understand it's for non-ELS vehicles, but do I need to set it up for each individual vehicle?. Or is it good to go from any Motorcycle to Sedan / SUV / Truck?.

I've got a question regarding the tool that you sugested to use to create custom patterns, the RPH Live Lights. It's not working for me, is it because the new version of RPH which is not compatible with the plugin?

Very nice mod! I am working on xml files for a released non-els pack to work with DLS.

One thing I'd like to know, when on stage 1 or 2 cars still move out of the way.

Is there a way to change that only on stage 3 they will move?

This was much needed, but I have an issue, when I turn the lights on (J) it also for some reason turns on the siren, yet I can manually turn on any siren (wail etc), overriding the siren that turns on with the lights. Tested on 11john's LSPD and LSSD packs. Any help would be much appreciated.
