[ELSS] Realistic Emergency Lighting V - Realistic Patterns - GTA V 1.0.0

(8 reviews)

8 Screenshots

Realistic Emergency Lighting is a modification that provides realistic flash patterns that have realistic speeds and bright but not blinding emissive lights.

There is NO NEED FOR MESSING WITH DLCS, METAS, OR SIRENSETTINGS. All you have to do is REPLACE THREE FILES, and that's it. Great for lazy people like myself

These patterns were inspired by the ones used on police vehicles in the state of Connecticut, but they pretty much apply to all U.S. police vehicles.

Features:

-Environmental Lighting

-Realistic Flash Patterns

-Bright, but not blinding lights

-Three minute installation

-Works with any vehicle in a police slot

Reccomended mods:

-VisualV

-Project RELOAD

-Realism Dispatch Enhanced

-And of course LSPDFR!

Thanks to @POLICESCO for some sequencer values, and to @Captain14 for his carcols.ymt research posts on the forums.

To me, it looks like all you did was increase the BPM of the first sirensetting. The patterns didn't seem to have changed at all. If the folk looking at this mod want my recommendation, look at getting BEL, which actually changed the patterns to something more realistic.

Remember, people, take this with a grain of salt, I just know a thing or two about carcols. I'm nowhere near an expert.

Use Open IV to replace the visualsettings.dat file into Update > Update.rpf > Common > Data

Use Open IV to replace the carcols.ymt file into Update > Update.rpf > x64 > Data

Use Open IV to replace the carvariations.meta file into update > x64 > dlcpacks > mpluxe > dlc.rpf > common > data

In Game, set PostFX and Shader Quality to High or Above

This mod should be taken down asap, it is a complete fuckin rip off of Lt.Caine's ELS Mod. This looked like something that came out of a kid's coloring book. This isnt criticism or an opinion, its the god's honest truth.

You realize ELS is a script and this is replacement of game files to make the lights look better? How can this be a ripoff in that case?
