Please post here, any problems that you are having with the spotlight script and I will be more than happy to correct the issues.
Update:
I just released V1R1.2,
If you have SpotLight already installed, Simply replace the spotlight.net.dll file and add the following lines to the ini;
[NSTOCKADE]
spot-x=0
spot-y=0
spot-z=0
[Noose]
spot-x=0
spot-y=0
spot-z=0
New Findings:
The spotlight shows up for some police cars but doesn't for others, for example, it shows up on my police2 but not on the noose.
If this is happening, open up common/data/vehicles.ide
Look for the car that you are having problems with and make sure that all the names are consistent.
They should look something like this.
police, police, car, POLICE, POLICE, VEH@STD
For example, I have seen where someone had it like so;
police, police, car, POLICE, ADMIRAL, VEH@STD
As you can see, on the 5th entry, it is written down as ADMIRAL, this will simply not work as the names have to be consistent across the entire entry.
There was a problem with the first version released, V1R1.2 should fix this problem. If you are using V1R1, I suggest you update it to the newest(V1R1.2)First off, let me say that this mod is awesome and has been a long time coming. My only problem so far is that it does not turn on in my police patriot model. It works fine on my other police models, but for some reason it just does not want to work on the patriot. any ideas on why this might be?
Copy images.txt to your desktop, Make the change to the file on your desktop, drag it back to the original folder to overwrite it.Hello, when I try to change the images.txt and save it once I have inserted the new line it won't allow me to, it says access denied. I tried changeing the permission on the file but that wouldn't change either. Any help would be great! Thank you
Please look below at Michael's post if you need help installing it on EFLC.
For you EFLC users who cannot get it to work, and receive that error, here is the solution:
What I did:
For the Images.txt open the file here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto IV Episodes from Liberty City\EFLC\TBoGT\common\data\Images.txt
Add the following at the very bottom.
platformimg:/models/cdimages/spotlight 0
For the "SpotLight.net.dll & spotlight.ini" put those in the:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto IV Episodes from Liberty City\EFLC\scripts
Lastly for the "spotlight.img" put that in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto IV Episodes from Liberty City\EFLC\TBoGT\pc\models\cdimages
If neither of these work, Reply and tell me because I might know another way.
If you need any car mappings, take a look at this thread.

Notes:
If you are getting an object reference error it is because it did not create the spotlight object.
There may be 2 problems.
1. you did not put the spotlight.img in the right directory pc>models>cdimages
if you did then,
2. take a look at the images.txt file and make sure that you added:
platformimg:/models/cdimages/spotlight 0
Please note that between "spotlight and "0" there is a tab, not a space.
