You can spawn cars, peds, pretty much any object and weapons that you can't pick up. You just have to know the model name. It has less functionality than Simple Native Trainer Just type 'spawn [modelname], so spawn police or spawn m_y_cop or setdaytime 08:30 Type help for a list of commands

Okay I have to share this awesome story that wouldn't have been possible without Abraxas's mods: I was doing airport police at Francis International and doing random vehicle searches with a k9. I searched some cars in a parking lot near the factory/warehouses near Willis (sort of behind the FIA police station) and the k9 found drugs in one. Figuring it must belong to an employee, I had the car towed away and then called in a bait car that was the same model, and used SNT to make it the right colours. I parked it back in the parking spot and then waited until 5pm when an employee would normally finish work. Eventually someone came to get in the car and drove it off, so I pulled them over and arrested them in a really cool drug bust/sting scenario that just seemed to happen out of nowhere, totally awesome.

door open and close
As difficult as your post was to decipher it sounds like it could be possible to put a tray on a rotational dummy that works like a door and will rotate to a certain angle when activated. It probably couldn't work with that model though. It can only rotate on one axes and not move at all so it'd probably have to be a new purpose built model where maybe a back portion of the tray rotates 45 degrees downwards so you could drive a car up it... Hm I might experiment with that. Not a bad idea. edit: Unfortunately though it doesn't seem like it'll be too possible. Here's a few reasons: The 'door' ramp clips into the ground so it jumps around when it opens [fixable] The ramp swings from underneath, rather than coming around over the top [pretty sure it's not fixable, it's just because of the angle it rotates to] Collision with cars is weird, they can't drive up the ramp, but bikes work [not sure if fixable] Vehicles on the tray fall off when you drive [probably fixable, just have to add a couple of wheel stops on the back of the tray] If you bump into the ramp it's very easy for it to fall off completely because it's as flimsy as other doors [not sure if fixable] When you have any vehicle on the tray the game feels like something is behind you so it pushes your camera really far forward to a really shitty place and you can't drive too well [not fixable] You may be able to find someone who's willing to experiment more, but that's what I've discovered.

Ooo fantastic, I'm sure whatever you come up with will be great. Perhaps if interiors are too difficult to spawn in you could just make do with spawning the suspects outside some of the locations? Like maybe for the home address they spawn either outside one of those houses in Leftwood, Alderney or just outside an apartment block somewhere? And the same with workplaces (mechanics/garages, office buildings, shops, airport, dock etc.) and other known whereabouts (in parks, outside clubs or pubs, etc.) but I do really like the idea of having three blips show up and you have to search each location with a random chance of finding them at that one. Looking forward to it all though.

This has potentially been suggested already but would it be possible to add, either to policehelper or in a new script mod, a warrant service function? So if we wanted something to do the player could just open polichelper and press a button to check for warrant service jobs, where perhaps it will spawn a few blips on the map and we're supposed to go to each of them and see if the wanted person is there? Say perhaps it spawns a warrant job and puts blips at an apartment in Bohan, the Triangle club or the mechanic (like a workplace, a home address and a hangout spot) and the suspect is only at one of the places so you go to each location and if they're not there the, blip will dissapear and if they are there you can see them with a marker on their head and arrest them? And perhaps sometimes if we go to the apartment address the suspect might be in there with a number of gang members who shot at you? Or sometimes they may just be alone and comply straight away. As I said, it's probably something that has been suggested before but I was thinking it could be interesting and hopefully doable, and perhaps add a bit more real-life policing functions into the game, as executing arrest warrants is fairly common in police day-to-day routines.

Try installing another mod such as the policing script, the police helper, the k9 script etc, or even other world-crimes scripts like the abandoned vehicle cleanup or the criminal acts script Try different types of policing, such as ordinary patrol, highway patrol, tactical response, unmarked/drug or gang unit, foot patrol, heli support (not always that fun) or give multiplayer a go.

Timecyc Corona Size
The size of the lights on police vehicles are pretty much hard coded to the vehicle. A different texture though could also change the size, but they are in the coronas file. I don't know how, if at all, they are related to timecyc settings.

Hey 1st cav, not sure what the issue might be there. I haven't heard of anyone else having those problems. Have you tried re-downloading it? and installing it again? Are you making sure to replace both the .wft and the .wtd files?

vdH METT/Coroner Mod v.1.0.0 [REL]
Hey Abraxas I'm sorry if this has been covered before but I installed the 1.0 version recently and each time I call the coroner team they say they're busy. I've had the previous version installed and working before. All I did was replace the scripts files with the new ones. Should I have replaced everything else again too? Is it a memory issue?

ELS extra_9 issue (Help from anyone)
Ah I'm not getting it. I think it's emitting right... Sort of I have a messageboard on the rear of my vehicle, so each extra7/8/9 is a screen for the board with a different word extra 7 (POLICE) extra 8 (HAZARD) extra 9 (AHEAD) They're all in the same position except slightly in front of each other. When I moved them all apart, they all lit up correctly in game. However, when i put them back together in front of the board, my extra 9 doesn't illuminate. Perhaps it's something to do with my hiearchy or the positioning of the meshes or something. Argh. This thread did teach my what I needed to get it emitting though. I just don't understand why it won't work properly in the position it's supposed to be in. e: The issue now is that extra 9 will not appear if it overlaps with another. It's very weird. It must be down to either the position of the objects, the hierarchy or maybe even the material list. I guess it's no longer relevant here. Pic: (The A in AHEAD should overlap with the E in POLICE but it doesn't appear at all) Edit: Wooo I got it working! Couldn't have done it without this thread though. Cheers Aussie, CJ and Nickie!
