  1. For Pontiacs/Holdens/Fords and other Australian emergency vehicles; http://gtapolicemods.com/showthread.php?98-Australian-Emergency-Textures I don't think there's a pontiac sports truck or holden ute available yet (with a police setup) but I do believe one is in the works, it just may be a while off.
  2. A museum where they have some of the 1940s cars from LA Noire too would be really cool, being able to jump in one and drive it out of there would be awesome.... But I'm not too confident that'll happen :(

  4. I was really confused by this game... but it looks awesome.
  5. Yeah I saw this discussed elsewhere, it's really cool to see. I think it was actually in Max Payne 3 but it's great to see so much model and animation detail moved across to GTA. For anyone wondering; you can see the slide (top half of the handguns) move back and forth when the round is fired, and you can see shell ejections/ports opening and closing on the shotguns. On top of all that too, the wepon models seem much more detailed and the sounds are way better. I really liked the gunplay for Max Payne 3 that featured all of the above as well as realistic feelings when people were shot (moreso before all the enemies started wearing armour) and I hoped it'd be put into GTA. I actually edited all weapon sounds in IV and replaced them with MP3 sounds. I very much doubt there'll be much of an ability to customise lighting patterns in the game though, I don't think it's really a priority feature in the grand scheme of things.
  6. Just fyi, there were different liveries across the cities in San Andreas, and I'm pretty sure LVPD had different cars. Looks like there'll definitely be Buffalos in the game in civilian versions but the new police cars don't look like Buffalos, they look more like the police cars in saints row 3 actually.
  7. I'll check it out when I've got a chance, but I just had my LSPD/Arjent Vapid in game an I managed to shoot out the glass on each window without crashing. What is the issue exactly?
  8. I think he's just making a set of liverys for already existing vehicle mods Sam, as opposed to modding the vehicles. Although, I've got a couple of modded Vapids and I seem to be able to shoot the glass without crashing, so I'm not sure what issue you're referring to?

  10. Currently dying under the weight of all this irl stuff at the moment guys, we'll see what I get time for. Luckily, the Arjent Vapid is pretty much done so it's just a matter of testing, packaging and uploading it...
  11. Throwing a pressure cooker bomb at police during the pursuit? But pressure cookers are huge aren't they? Yeah I just saw on my national news (Australia) that it had been reported that a bomber suspect was one arrested following the MIT incident.

  13. Yes, just change active = 1 to active = 0 for your POLICE slot in the els.ini
  14. Won't be too hard, good idea. I've already pretty much got everything ready to do that except the lightbar, and even then I just have to take it off the Buffalo, wack it on the vapid and re-attach the headlights and indicators.
  15. It looks like the Buffalo design there is a single, thick blue strip, seemingly for NOOSE and that particular unit is [something] Protection. It could be my Buffalo with an edited lightbar but I know that Sam had a buffalo and Lt.Caine/Luxart had one so it's just as likely to be either of those.

  17. Coronas are drawn relative to the 3D cordinates of each vehicle. At this stage they aren't tied to anything but that is intended in the future (so that for example, only when a certain component is on will the lights associated with it also flash). EVCS Demonstration: Vapid A taste of how you can use EVCS to customise and control your police car, and easily switch up the way you patrol.
  18. All in all, it's a very early version of the mod and its featured at this stage are understandably limited. Hopefully though, based on my own conversations with Grady about what he wants to do with the mod and what we'll then be able to do with emergency vehicles it could bring something really new and exciting. With the features the mod is intending to deliver it will be way more than just a simple lighting system. It should allow you a great level of control over your vehicle and how you use it to police Liberty City.
  19. If you try to register 2.2.6 with a bad code it won't give you the warnings about registering when importing, but it still won't work as a registered version. Why someone wouldn't look at what using Zmod requires before buying it is beyond me. Post your issue on the zmodeler forums.
  20. At this stage AI can't use EVCS lights so I'm deliberately leaving a lightbar with only default lights.
  21. I'm working on a couple of vehicles to make use of the EVCS beta. This one is the vapid and currently you can control the pushbar and the lightbar, so you can have three different types of police car (general patrol, highway patrol and unmarked) all in the one slot, and switch things up to your liking using the EVCS mod. I'm also testing a tow-truck using the mod so you can have an amber lightbar, seperately controlled amber lights on the tray, and the ability to deploy/retract a ramp and to put up or put down barriers around the tray. Obviously as EVCS progresses, giving us more control over the vehicle, I can expand these concepts further.
