  1. From the album: Other Modding

    Full wrap-around pushbar, internal lights.
  2. Sounds suspicious. Post your problem on the Zmodeler forums.
  3. Sounds like you've tried to register it with a dud key.
  4. But I was chatting to Grady about EVCS and he wants to try and get it so his mod lights can be tied to extras, and will only flash if those extras are active. So I'm looking at a fully customisable car, where the base is just like a civilian vapid cruiser and then you can use EVCS to add the police equipment you want, and change the livery to the type of policing you want to do.
  5. Ooo that's cool. Extra 1/2/3 could be different rambars, extra 4/5/6 could be different technology setups and 7/8/9 could be different lighting arrangements, being fully customisable with EVCS. Only downside there is that adding all those objects adds polys and increases the filesize, and I don't think EVCS has the ability to control all the extras at this stage, nor attach lights to certain extras. Might do some more work on the vapid tonight.
  6. I like to think of it as more of an enhancement to the default lighting system, and on that front it's great. Take a look at these pics: (default) http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/7131/evcsshow1.png http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/35/evcsshow2.png (EVCS) http://img839.imageshack.us/img839/6809/evcsshow3.png http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/2104/evcsshow4.png Using EVCS to enhance my vehicle, I now have lights on all the LED modules. With the default lighting system, I could only have a few lights on my lightbar that I had to strategically place to get the best coverage, and I could only spare 2 lights to go elsehwere, which went on the top LED modules on the back of the pod, leaving no lights for the pushbar and no lights for the bottom LEDs on the pod. Now in this situation, ELS could also give me lights everywhere I want them go, but that'd come at the cost of the refreshing/invincibility issue, which sucks because when I'm putting prisoners into this vehicle I like the effect of having the pod door open, rather than having it flickering back and forth. The only evident downside from EVCS is that some of the coronas can show through part of the vehicle, depending on where I'm looking at it from. But when you also think about the functionality you get from more control of your extra parts, liveries and siren, this isn't a huge issue. Sure, maybe a mod in the future can deliver everything good here but with none of the bad. Personally, I don't mind using coronas for the lights. With my ENB I think it looks just fine. The advantage of EVCS again though is that it is (to a degree) released. EVCS is also great to enhance the lighting for people who don't wish to use modded cars at all.
  7. Updated VIncent seems to have been approved. I'll look at what others projects I might like to do while I eat some lunch.
  8. Show us a screenshot of the Zmodeler hierarchy You are using ELS for the vehicle's lights right? And they aren't flashing? So have you set them up properly?
  9. Is the lightbar within the chassis hierarchy? Are the lights setup properly as ELS extras?
  10. An April Fools con? What else did I have to do aside from the VIncent update? People were after some Vapid Cruiser updates if I remember rightly..
  11. Haha, I never left, just started focusing on some Australian mods at GPM. I've got some energy to do some Rockstar mods now though. The vincent 2.0 has been uploaded, still waiting on approval though.
  12. The default gta iv cars don't have templates the same way that modded cars do. You'll need to find new, modded versions of those cars that have been UV-mapped. Look through Lt. Caine's work on GTA Police Mods.
  13. 2.4 is out! Woo Added new calls Improved all calls spontaneity (some became a little predictive) Improved breathalyser and fixed crashes Moved and improved a lot of on-screen text Changed how locations are generated Improved follow me command (ALT+H)

    Police Vincent 2.0!

    From the album: My Vehicles

    Coming soon!
  15. All my Buffalos should have identical templates. I do like those skins though, including that Police Stinger style one for the Vapid cruiser.
  16. Heli support isn't too exciting when you're only working with AI on the ground. Make sure you're calling backup, setting up roadblocks and stuff.
  17. Yeah just put them as high in the hierarchy as possible (but still below the chassis) and see how that goes.
  18. The only issue there is that then the mod has to read exactly which police station you're at so it get then get the right co-ords to make the ped go towards the doors. The way it is currently, as soon as it sees you're in the corona it begins to remove the suspect.
  19. There's a better shot of the LED-looking lightbar in the screenshot with the tactical team SUV chasing the guy on the bike.... Not like the shit on the NOOSE vapid and patriot in gta iv
  20. I think there's a cream for that.

Today we have a new variant of the Hilux resembling those used by the police in the Australian state of Western Australia. The major addition is the Hazard Systems 20 series lightbar (model by Snit) as well as a number of other additions, alterations, and a few bug fixes from previous versions. This model also features a functioning Varley brand prisoner transport pod, which you can load your arrested suspect into for transport to the station. This version is non-ELS, with an ELS version to follow in the near future. This model is locked to prevent further editing. By downloading this file you agree that you will not edit the model file in any way nor will you re-upload or share it through any other services.
