  1. Then you could throw in an upgrade there to, say, proffesional or ultimate. Or even Windows 8.1.
  2. You can already change the LCPDFR Computer background. (http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/how-to-use-a-custom-background-for-the-lcpdfr-police-computer-r22).
  3. I'm with Sharp. You have a pretty good computer really. What OS are you running?
  4. Did that work better? I think the folder is supposed to be "Grand Theft Auto IV" btw.
  5. Not enough LCPD in it? :( Money is always an issue lol.
  6. ^I need to pick up on my Cops episodes. I'm currently on season 19, so I have some way to go.
  7. Yes, let's go into hibernation. Like this bear:
  8. Weeell, Sniper is known to have access to everything. We can't even be sure he's here right now *looks over shoulder*
  9. As long as you're fine with being stuck with grown men and snipers + it's pretty dark in here.
  10. No problem :) Here's a link to the highest rated content in the vehicle section of this site (http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/category/10-vehicle-modifications/?dosort=1&sort_key=file_rating&sort_order=desc). PS: No one will give you original files, always make backups. If not, you'll just have to reinstall the game. Also, you will need this software to install the car mods (http://openiv.com/WebIV/guest.php?get=1). Remember to always read the supplied readme file, in both the software and the downloaded car mod. Note: Lightning reply ineseri strikes again
  11. Thanks :) I read somewhere that most of the resturants included in the program went belly up after a couple of weeks...
  12. You do not have any ELS enabled cars, which is required. The vanilla, default, cars won't work with ELS. Our download section has a wide selection of cars to download.
  13. I never understood the charm of this programme. Just a bunch of swearing. I guess some people like it, I don't. He's a good chef, but his shows aren't really my taste so to speak. Pun slightly intended.
  14. It will reopen when the management decide to open it. The group section is not up high on s "todo" list.
  15. That's just what you think, Bellic! Duck and cover!
  16. *Peeks out of Safety Vault* What is going on in this thread? OHH SHIIIIIIIII-
  17. What was the most recent change you made to the game, excluding adding xlive?
  18. It does, doesn't it? I wasn't sure about it.
  19. Good luck! Make sure that DSOUND is not in your directory now.
  20. It's part of LCPDFR Automatic installer. Just remove dsound.dll from your gta iv directory beforehand. When installing, choose xlive instead.
  21. Can you try using the xlive loader instead? I know that GFWL have had some issues recently.
  22. Graphic replacements and ENBs. Not sure which one he is using though.
  23. It's better to add the content in commandline.txt, since launching from steam is not recommended (imo). Not sure if the switches are carried over.
  24. Is UAC disabled? UAC is a part of Windows Security introduced with Windows Vista. It will not allow the user (you) to do any change to the computer without giving a warning message. It’s quite annoying and if you have some common sense, it will not be a danger to disable it. Disabling UAC: 1. Open the start menu. 2. Type “UAC” (without quotes) 3. Pull the “slider” all the way down and accept the changes. A reboot may be required in some rare cases. Commandline To circumvent a less powerful computer, and maybe get the game up and running, you can create a txt file called “commandline.txt” (without quotes) in your main GTA IV installation directory
