  1. No problem, it's what I do :)
  2. A moderator will close it, you do not have to do anything :)
  3. I mean do you have a link for it? It seems like it isn't saving correctly. Are you sure you drag and drop it into OpenIV? Are the files named properly? Proper names would be: POLICE POLICE2 NOOSE NSTOCKADE PSTOCKADE FBI
  4. Hello. Let's try this: Open up your LCPDFR.ini, look under "Main", it should look something like this: Now, add to the bottom of that part PreLoadAllModels=TrueThe "Main" part should now look like this:
  5. Glad to hear that you fixed it! :) And I could understand you fine!
  6. There is no need to save or rebuild when using OpenIV. Simply drag and drop the files into OpenIV and close the window. Make sure you actually replace, and not for example add new ones as these won't show up in the game. Which models are you trying to replace?
  7. Are you sure you pressed it three times, and then pressed H? Are you using any other mods? It's no problem we're here to help :)
  8. I'd recommend you to reinstall the game.
  9. I recommend you to read the user guide. It's the same with all mods, always read the attached readme before using the mod to avoid problems :)
  10. Well, if you'd read my other post you would have noticed that I pointed out that he edited his post. Because at first, it said els v3 instead of just els.
  11. Well, in your first post (before you edited it, it said els v3). Have you moved the mod to the root GTA IV folder and have you read the user manual?
  12. First off, I recommend you to use ELS v7RC2 instead of the outdated v3 '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  13. Explain the steps you are taking in great detail, then I can figure out what's wrong. Are you sure you are using OpenIV, and not SparkIV? It sounded like SparkIV when you said save and rebuild.
  14. I always ask that, it's not that I do not trust you I just want to see what I am working with :) What other mods are you using?
  15. I'm very glad it did! Enjoy the mod :)
  16. Alright. Let's try this: Open up your LCPDFR.ini, look under "Main", it should look something like this: Now, add to the bottom of that part PreLoadAllModels=TrueThe "Main" part should now look like this:
  17. Do you have a legal copy of GTA IV?
  18. I think they still said that the engine isn't capable of managing a big city... Don't quote me on that though.
  19. I sadly bought it before it was possible to have offline mode, but I am excited to be able to play it with my unstable connection once again. I personally like the fact that EA stated that "Nope, this can't be done" and now suddenly they can. *sigh*.
  20. Open up your LCPDFR.ini, look under "Main", it should look something like this: Now, add to the bottom of that part PreLoadAllModels=TrueThe "Main" part should now look like this:
  21. Yes, for getting LCPDFR to work.
  22. Meh, I should learn to read more carefully... Thanks Loot :)
  23. 10-4, I agree. Never know with these old ladies wielding UZIs.
  24. Legal copy of the game? Running the game as administrator? Latest patch? What other mods are you using? What operating system are you using (Windows XP is NOT supported)? Make sure that LCPDFR 0.95 is removed (http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/how-to-uninstall-lcpdfr-r19). Also, please install these http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5549 (If you haven’t updated GFWL, use this). Running the game as administrator: Go to the GTA IV folder, right click on GTAIV.exe, Properties, Compatibility and select 'Run this program as administrator', do the same exact thing to the LaunchGTAIV.exe.
