For me, 1.0 is miles more stable than 0.95RC2. In fact, Less than 1% of people are having issues with the mod.

That's not really going to help, since the OP said he hadn't made any change to his system and it just started doing this. Besides, 0.95RC2 is more unstable than 1.0, I see no reason to use it instead. OP: Could you try updating your videodrivers? Download updates from Windows Update?
