  1. Hello. Let's break this commandline down, as it has some redudant lines. I'll explain below: -DX11/high -novblank -fullscreen -availablevidmem 200As far as I know, this last line is for setting amount of physical Video Memory(ex. –availablevidmem 0.9) NOT in percent. -renderquality 3 -shadowdensity 0 -texturequality 0 -viewdistance 99 -detailquality 50 -framelimit 60 -noswapdelay -forcer2vb -minspecaudio -refreshrate 60 -framelockinwindowThese are all fine, I personally do not use either of them. -norestriction -memrestrict 188743680 -memrestrict 209715200 -memrestrict 230686720 -nomemrestrictThis is where it get interesting. First, you limit the game to 188743680, and then you limit the game to 209715200 (and thus overwriting the last line), and then once again you limit the game to 230686720(and thus once again overwriting the last line). But at the end of this segment, you're just telling the game "no restrictions on memory" and thus making the lines redundant. I'd recommend you to use this one instead: -novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -novsync -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrictFeel free to add any lines you wish to it. Just a suggestion and I hope I could help. @Opulence: His view distance can be seen in the commandline: "-viewdistance 99". @davelaric: I do not think that decreases view-distance, but I could be wrong.
  2. Hi! Are you using any other mods?
  3. Okay, I am all for commandlines, but before giving advice about them, make sure you know what your own commandline does. Let's break it down, shall we? availablevidmem 2.0 -NORESTRICTION -NOMEMRESTRICT Here, you are telling the game to use 2gb of video memory, and have no restrictions on them. So far, so good. -AVAILABLEVIDMEM 6.0 -PERCENTVIDMEM 100 But here, you are telling the game to use 6 gb of video memory, and thus scrapping the above line. THEN you tell the game to use all available video memory and thus scrapping the line once again. -width 800 -height 600 -refreshrate 60 -novblank -texturequality 0 -renderquality 0 -viewdistance 0 -detailquality 0 -shadowdensity 0 All these are fine, if you want your game to look bad. Nothing wrong with that, as it will increase performance. -nomemrestrict -norestrictions These lines have already been used. -availablevidmem 2.0 -percentvidmem 100 And here you tell the game to once again use 2gb video memory, and scrapping the 100% one. THEN you tell the game to use 100% video memory again, and scrapping the 2gb line from just then. -noprecache -safemode -fullscreen -minspecaudio These are all fine, but I tend not to want to run a game in safe mode. Instead of using the above commandline, consider using this one instead: -renderquality 0 -shadowdensity 0 -texturequality 0 -viewdistance 0 -detailquality 0 -novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -minspecaudio -novsync -renderquality 0 -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict Yes, this one will make the game look bad. If you feel a improvement with that line, you could try switching to this one: -novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -novsync -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict Feel free to add the following lines if you wish -width 800 -height 600 EDIT: While ELS cars and ELS look pretty, they will make the game crash more often had you not used ELS. Your specs may improve that, but the GTA IV engine (RAGE) wasn't meant to handle the things that modding does to it.
  4. Hello, have you read the manual installation guide? You have both xlive and dsound in your game directory, you need to remove one of them. Sidenote: When using the manual installation, there is no need to apply the hotfix, as it is already included.
  5. Very glad I could be of assistance, happy gaming now! :)
  6. I am very glad I could help! Happy gaming now! :)
  7. If you are using the manual installation package there is no need to apply the hotfix at all. It is included. Just reinstall the mod by following the PDF guide again. EDIT: I'd also recommend you not to use Norton. AVG or Avast is my recommendation.
  8. No need to uninstall, just replace the files again. It's a long shot but it may just work :)
  9. Could you try to install the mod using the manual installation package?
  10. I'm not really sure what could be wrong then sadly. Sorry.
  11. I am not really sure what could be wrong. I can't see any out of the ordinary things sadly.
  12. Could you upload the log, instead of a screenshot? It's easier to troubleshoot that way.
  13. That wouldn't help at the moment. Are you running the game as administrator by going to the GTA IV folder, right click on GTAIV.exe, Properties, Compatibility and selecting 'Run this program as administrator', and doing the same exact thing to the LaunchGTAIV.exe.
  14. Then there is no need to apply the hotfix. That may have messed something up. Care to try again? :) Also, I am not a expert of what the logs mean, that is up to LMS to translate.
  15. Could you try to manually install LCPDFR 1.0a with the manual installation package?
  16. Is GTA IV being launched with administrator-priviligies?
  17. Hello, could you post a screenshot of your GTA IV directory?
  18. Hm. Does G still work?
  19. Hm alright. I'll standby for a screenshot :)
  20. Hi, this is completely random and crime history isn't saved. It has been discussed before if it would be possible, but it (if I remember correctly) would be too much work.
  21. Hi, can you post a screenshot of your GTA IV directory please? :)
  22. No problem, glad I could help :)
  23. Hello, can you post a screenshot of your GTA IV directory to get started? :)
  24. Hello, I'm famous apparently :P Pressing "p" toggles definition, which is what causing the blurry-ness to appear. What was the most recent change you made to the game? Could you provide a screenshot of your GTA IV directory?
