  1. You go here (http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/download/4607-lcpd-first-response/) and download the manual installation. Read the installation guide to the letter.
  2. Could you try using the manual installer instead and download the files I provided for you?
  3. Sure, do that. Make sure you're installing the correct version.
  4. Then you'll have to find it someplace else :)
  5. That's not something I can do anything about. (PS: It's a 18+ game) :)
  6. Indeed. I'd recommend getting a real computer
  7. It's done when it's done. Same goes with all G17 Media releases. The developers do this in their own spare time, as a hobby you see :)
  8. These are the files needed to run LCPDFR 1.0. Do they all give you the same error? http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5549 (If you haven’t updated GFWL, use this).
  9. I do not have it at the moment, just use your backup that you made previous to tampering with it.
  10. It's an old, last-gen Intel integrated graphics card. You won't be able to run GTA IV with it, since even high-end cards struggle to keep up.
  11. Well, as I said: Windows 7 is not on the officially supported operating systems. And as we have said before: Windows 8.1 will work just fine, but you may have issues with your graphics card.
  12. You're never supposed to leave anything out, just replacing is fine.
  13. It's a matter of taste. I prefer Windows 7, but as a matter of getting softwares set up it may be easier. Windows 8 will have a updated interface and other updates, that Windows 7 won't have.
  14. Okay, if you get Windows 8. And you install GTA IV. And you apply the latest patch. And install all required files listed in the LCPDFR installation guide it will work just fine.
  15. You can do as you wish, but I'm telling you: I know several peope who run Windows 8 + GTA IV + LCPDFR 1.0 just fine. If you want to go through the hassle of turning it back in, you do so. Just so you know: Windows 7 is not one of the officially suppported operating systems. The officially supported ones are: Windows Vista SP1 Windows XP SP3
  16. Windows 8.1 is an update of the Windows 8 operating system.
  17. Go with Windows 8 since you already have it, it will work fine if you follow all guides.
  18. You need to make sure you have this installed (http://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/200145406-Grand-Theft-Auto-IV-Patch-7-Title-Update-v-1-0-7-0-English-1-0-6-1-Russian-1-0-5-2-Japanese-). Does it work without your modded cars? Does it work without the script mods? Have you tried moving your save files and then launching the game again?
  19. What do you mean you can't install it? We need more information about your computer + the steps you are taking.
  20. But Windows 8 will work fine? They just say that because it isn't officially supported.
  21. I actually did ask this time if the OP had a legal copy. Other than that, I agree with you there unr3al.
  22. Here you go (http://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/200145406-Grand-Theft-Auto-IV-Patch-7-Title-Update-v-1-0-7-0-English-1-0-6-1-Russian-1-0-5-2-Japanese-)
  23. No, you have to use that patch to be able to run LCPDFR.
  24. Okay, Specs? GTA IV version? Please answer them. Also, are you using EVGA Precision, RIVATuner, FRAPS, Bandicam, etc, anything like that will insta-crash your game.
