  1. Try using dsound instead then.
  2. Try moving your save files. The save files are located in 2 different places. X:Users%username%AppDataLocalRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames X:Users%username%DocumentsRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegamesNote: The AppData-folder is usually hidden, make sure that you can see hidden files.Note 2: “X” is the drive where you have installed GTA IV, and %username% is replaced by your username
  3. Okay, but did you read the manual? You only need one asi loader.
  4. Use the manual installation package instead. Also, you have both DSOUND and XLIVE dll in your root directory. You need to remove one of them as they cancel each other out. You only need one asi loader.
  5. As I do not use ELS, I'm not sure but you should be able to hold the siren key to make another siren sound. Not sure though,
  6. Hello, there should be a list of instructions in the manual. Have you read this?
  7. Did you try what empire suggested instead of saying "it won't work"?
  8. Can you post a screenshot of your GTA IV directory? What other mods are you using?
  9. The only advice I can give is to install these http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5549 (If you haven’t updated GFWL, use this). Other than that, it's not much to do with GTA IV crashes but to live with them. EDIT: 6000th post. Time to go outside again.
  10. They return a 404 error. Please upload them to imgur or something. Also, as Jay said this might just be a random GTA IV error.
  11. Hello. Could you post a screenshot of your GTA IV directory?
  12. I meant the GTA IV patch. Also, what exactly is your problem at the moment?
  13. Do you have the latest patch applied? Did you follow the manual installation guide properly?
  14. You do best in updgrade to Windows 7/8 soon though, even though XP might feel like home Windows 7/8 is vastly superior these days.
  15. ^This. If you are using modded cars, especially ELS, you increase the risk of crashing by a lot of per cent.
  16. No. You need something in the GTX series (for example). Do not use intergrated graphics cards. They cannot handle GTA IV.
  17. The G17 media diagnostics tool doesn't work with LCPDFR 1.0. Can you please post a screenshot of your GTA IV directory?
  18. What kind of anti-virus are you using?
  19. It's a known crash that's being worked on. I do see that you have the freval error. It might be unrelated, but the freval error was fixed for some users by doing this: Open up your LCPDFR.ini, look under "Main", it should look something like this by default: Now, add to the bottom of that part PreloadAllModels=TrueThe "Main" part should now look like this:
  20. No. No idea with that information. Please stick to the current support issue, or my head gets all wacky.
  21. Well, at the moment I do not have GTA IV installed.
  22. I don't play online that often :)
