Rockstars saying about mods in Singleplayer.
I think we'd like to keep our development freedom :)

Report and move on, all you can do sadly.

Rockstars saying about mods in Singleplayer.
Indeed, is there anything weird with that? Having mods in Singleplayer may cause you to be banned from Online if you enter Online. You modify the game on your on risk, that is all I am saying.

You should, however, always keep in mind that modifying the game is a risk you take, no one else can be blamed for any unforseen consequences.

Apparently Rockstar has changed their EULA and now forbids modding as a bannable offense. Can anyone confirm?
We have always appreciated the creative efforts of the PC modding community and we still fondly remember the awesome zombie invasion mod and original GTA map mod for GTAIV PC among many other classics. To be clear, the modding policy in our license has not changed and is the same as for GTAIV. Recent updates to GTAV PC had an unintended effect of making unplayable certain single player modifications. This was not intentional, no one has been banned for using single player modifications, and you should not worry about being banned or being relegated to the cheater pool just for using single player PC mods. Our primary focus is on protecting GTA Online against modifications that could give players an unfair advantage, disrupt gameplay, or cause griefing. It also bears mentioning that because game mods are by definition unauthorized, they may be broken by technical updates, cause instability, or affect your game in other unforeseen ways. Everything changes - the new LCPDFR.com
Yeah, I used it quite a lot as it was a feature that was available for staff, and I liked it. It still doesn't change my point though :P

Use mods and still be able to play online?
No, that is't confirmed at all. I'm using the latest scripthook by AB and I can play Singleplayer just fine, and remove it when I want to play Online and that works just as fine. A few people report that they are banned by this, but I am fairly certain that they did something else wrong. Are you banned Vic, for example?

Everything changes - the new LCPDFR.com
It was a nice feature, but it's more important to fix the current issues and improve upon the current site. Things like different backgrounds, profile music for moderators etc, are not a priority and most likely won't come back, as most of the time it was a nuisance.

We haven't heard anything from Rockstar yet, and there are people claiming to be banned for modding Singleplayer, and people who claim they're not banned.

About the EULA, yes they did. It hasn't been changed. Regarding bans, it's still unconfirmed.

That's not actually true. We don't buy the game, we don't own the contents of the game, we own a license to use the game.

In Singleplayer, only the top floors are partially loaded. The basement is not. In Online the entire station is rendered and only the back doors are open.

State Zero - A short film by Andrée Wallin
Saw this a few hours ago, really nice. I'd like a full movie of it, the filmography is nearly perfect for a free movie.

Evidence for Singleplayer mod-banning?
There has been some discussions regarding this; http://www.lcpdfr.com/topic/50251-apparently-rockstar-has-changed-their-eula-and-now-forbids-modding-as-a-bannable-offense-can-anyone-confirm/ , http://www.lcpdfr.com/topic/50254-rockstar-officially-bans-modding-entirely/ If you feel this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.
