Apparently Rockstar has changed their EULA and now forbids modding as a bannable offense. Can anyone confirm?
I'm fairly certain this has always been the case, it hasn't been changed. It is pretty standard for software developers to say that in an EULA. Indeed, looking at the EULA page you linked it is clearly stated on top of the page "Last revised October 1, 2013" (as Cyan pointed out RIGHT as I made this edit)

1. LMS is LMS and Lt. Caine is Lt. Caine. They're not the same person. 2. No comment on that, but as far as I've seen, the game itself offers a lot more stable platform than, for example, GTA IV.

This. Police Officers should instill trust and respect, not fear. It's a sad trend that needs to change, most people are worried when they see a police officers, they don't feel safe.

At the moment, LSPDFR is developed for Singleplayer only. We'll let you know sooner or later how choosing a character in Singleplayer will work. For now, Online is a distant thing (I think).

I'd say this is a great opportunity to voice your concerns and wishes for design changes. What do you feel needs to be changed? Keep in mind, we can't fix everything as we are restricted by the forum software a bit too, but nothing wrong with making suggestions and requests.

You haven't uninstalled the old versions of LCPDFR before installing LCPDFR 1.1 then.
