True, it of course depends on your network speed / stability. My current computer has a DVD drive, my next one won't most likely. DVDs are starting to be severely outdated. Why not ship the game on some USB device instead? That'd be a lot more awesome.

There's no real difference between DVD and digital download, so those saying it wouldn't happen on a Steam/DVD copy are wrong. It's up to personal preference, although it's a lot more convenient to own it on Steam, rather to insert 7 DVDs. You'll also always have the latest updates.

Install these: .Net Framework 4.5, Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012 The logs can be found in your GTA IV Root directory. They have the file extension .log.

Yeah, this seems like a really stupid idea to be perfectly honest. Something that looks like a real gun, will get treated and warrant the same response as a real gun.

Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem. State what solutions you have tried. Post ALL relevant logs (LCPDFR.log, Scripthook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log). Include as much information as possible. Post your system specifications. Post what other mods you are using. This includes car and script mods.

So much speculation :P We'll see when it is released, easier that way!

We have discussed the ranking system several times, and the general consensus has always been that it wouldn't be a good idea. Some just want to jump into the fray of First Response, and not be restricted which can be extremely frustrating. Stopping a heist seems like a good idea, but we'll see how it goes when the game is released the 14th. I am sure LMS will do his best to bring the best experience for everyone.
