  1. Do you apply that mentality to all laws, or just gun laws?
  2. https://www.odmp.org/search/year If there's any shred of hope left, its that overall, police deaths are down this year. But in a country where anyone can get their hands on a gun, it shouldn't surprise us that gunfire is the top killer this year, right up there with vehicle-related deaths. There shouldn't be an arms race between the police and their communities, that's not law and order. Both mass killings of police in the past two weeks have happened in states with some of the loosest gun laws. If you actually care about the lives of law enforcement, you should be outraged at the lack of action taken in regards to our gun laws. The easier it is to get a gun, the easier it is to kill a cop.
  3. what vehicle slot are you using?
  4. HURRRKK. Love the lighting jobs on these beasts. Also really looking forward to the CHP pack! Oh and congrats on the new job bro!
  5. I'm not going to pretend to understand Turkish domestic policy. What I do know is that the PM of Turkey has been leading the country away from secularism, which is a bad direction to go in, especially for the middle east. I've got no love for the current Turkish government, but stability is the goal. Violent military coup isn't exactly what I call stability.
  6. Good. Now I can crash it.
  7. I've spend a good amount of time responding to everyone about BLM. I've made all the points I'd like to make, refer to my other posts.
  8. Updated GTA V, RPH, Scripthook V, and update.rpf in my mods folder. Crashing after starting. Can anyone help so I don't have to reinstall my entire game like last time?
  9. I'm in the same boat. Getting frustrated.
  10. Hate doing this after after patch....ugh. I'm on the newest RPH and scripthookV and my game crashes after loading lspdfr
  11. Just going to leave this here. It is not pro-police vs anti-police. There are legitimate racial issues to be addressed within our culture, justice system, and collective subconscious. That needs to be addressed in order to better our society. Fighting for that change doesn't make you anti-police, and arguing against that change doesn't make you racist.
  12. To be fair...the screenshots kind of show off more of the cars than the uniform....kinda feels like bragging. Us common people have been drooling over those LVMPD cars for months now. Great peds though.

  17. A historic day indeed! I think like most people online, we get wrapped up in the thrill of the debate and forget we actually agree on most things.

  19. I'm noticing a lot of LSPDFR crashes after I call Better EMS. The EMTs pull up and start treating the patient, and then LSPDFR crashes. Usually its after I take a new call or call a tow truck for the victims car. Is there any way you can make Better EMS work better with new callouts and Arrest Manager?
  20. Managed to find a picture of that narrator http://storage.akamai.coub.com/get/b77/p/coub/simple/cw_image/6f80bb692f3/c4eac182d3599cbb184a4/timeline_1446601179_00021.jpg And I'm actually going to wrap this debate up, because it seems like its unnecessary. I largely agree with almost all the points you're making. Of course those protesters shouldn't throw fireworks, just as the cops shouldn't launch teargas at journalists. There was no rioting in Dallas, Pittsburgh, or Los Angeles, because those police departments got ahead of the issue and reached out to the community. St. Paul, Ferguson, and Baltimore PD did nothing of the sort. This isn't an issue where one side is totally in the wrong and the other side is totally innocent, I don't think either of us are claiming that's the case. What's infinitely more important than rounding up protesters is fixing the system that they're protesting in the first place. People did it with OWS too, they sat around grumbling about how much they hated their tactics and called them dirty hippies, no-lives, etc etc. But wall street screwed those people as well. The simple fact is that neither you or I have ever been so outraged about something that we've taken it to the streets, because I'm guessing we've never had something to be so outraged about. I don't even know how many activists and demonstrators there are in the country, maybe tens of thousands? Tens of thousands of people that are THAT angry are not a group of people that we can expect to be totally reasonable and peaceful 100%. Its our job, as people who are more level headed, as well as the job of the police to start re-examining the justice system and probably police tactics/training as well. That's all that I want to see happen. And that's why I think our debate here is unnecessary, because I think that is something that you can agree to as well. *crosses fingers*
