I had a problem like this once with a charger from a reputable modder who I won't name. If the car was installed just how it was in the original file, it would work fine. But if I would change a skin or the emerglights texture it would crash. This may sounds ridiculous but it worked for me - I had to change those things in a particular order. Like emerglights first then the skin and I would have to do a lot of testing to figure out what worked. Trial and error but I eventually got it to work.. Not sure if that will help you or not but your not alone with this problem

A HIJACKCEPTION!! How will we ever make it out alive. Anyway, try uninstalling your last mods and see if it fixes your error. But you said its not the cars? You removed ALL of them from the spots around town before installing cars?

This is what I use, its called advanced car actions. You can use it to turn on/off the headlights, running light, and hazard lights. I don't know of a mod yet that lets you turn the engine on/off except SNT. There is a option in SNT to turn the engine off/on under car options I think. Once you have it off if you turn on the ELS it will start up or you can go back through the menus and start it that way. Link to mod: http://www.gtaforums...howtopic=401682

Shiver me timbers pirates are not welcome here matey(had to continue the theme). You will not get support from any of the tech team and most of the members feel the same way. It says it right in the terms I think that cracks aren't supported either morally or technically. The game is so cheap now, just go out and buy it. But until then you won't get any help from me either... Its likely that the crack could be causing your problem in the first place!! So there is an incentive to go buy the game!

Don't hijack someone elses thread. Make your own. But it looks like something to do with the scripthook. Make sure it up to date.

Did you do any searching for an answer before you posted? I'm guessing not because this question gets asked probably once a day. Plus this is in the wrong section. The answer, its PINNED on the top of LCPDFR support section. If you would have took the first line of your error 'LCPDFRModels' error'd! and searched or looked around a little bit you would have found it right away. The issue is with the taser, if the fix below doesn't work you will just have to go without the taser because it doesn't work for everyone. I'm sorry if that sounded a little harsh but no one wants to look around for 5 minutes and see if anyone else has already posted about the same issue. It would save a lot of forum space and time. It really shouldn't matter but what car are you guys using? Also what ninja said - Did you save it correctly by removing the write-protection/read only setting and save it as ELS.ini It CANNOT be saved as a .txt file

So what makes you think that they will read this? I'm sorry but this topic is pointless. People are still going to make topics asking "why cant I download anything??//" or "why iz the site so slo!!111 helpz me" and we are still going to have to take the time and tell them about the attack. There is NO reason why anyone should miss the green bar that isn't usually there on the top of the screen saying its an attack.

First what you should have done is taken two seconds to search or look around the forums because right here is your answer, link below. Pinned under LCPD:FR support, this is in the wrong section too. That doesn't always work for everyone so you might just have to live without the taser..

Maybe you did something wrong or you just might have to use SNT to change it. Did you backup your peds.ide before trying that?

You might need to remove the read only status of the file. Right click and un-check the read-only box. Make sure your clicking run as admin when you run the intsller to

Wow I didn't realize its still a feature in the game, I just thought something was wrong with my game. It conflicts with SNT when navigating the menus. It doesn't have to do with nikos animations, I just wanted to know if there was a way to make it stop.

Way back when 0.91 was out there was a option in the .ini that looked like this Weapon|Copanims = NumPad0 now I'm keeping up with the times and have RC2 installed of course but whenever I press 0 on the numpad niko does that animation and his arm wobbles all weird and doesn't stop unless you aim a gun or press 0 another 3-6 times. I don't know why this still happens because that isn't even a option in the new ini. No I don't have the old .ini in the scripts folder. Any ideas how I can fix this? Its annoying... Yeah, I was forced to restart my PC after the repair so I can't be 100% sure if it was the restart or the repair that fixed it because I don't remember ever trying a restart(which was stupid)

I finally got this fixed. I repaired the .NET framework and that seemed to fix the problem. Thanks Asuna, I got the link from one of your recent post's and thought I would give it a try.

When your behind the vehicle in the correct spot it should say something like "walk up to the drivers window" if your not behind them correctly and you exit the patrol car it will say "Get back in your vehicle Officer!"
