  1. Def going to mod this with a full police setup and see if the taxi bug still exists. Thanks a lot
  2. Is it unlocked like the CVPI?
  3. Yakadafi had shown it in one of his videos in the past and I think I read that it was coming soon or almost finished but that was months ago. I was also looking forward to that but since his accounts was closed I kind of forgot about it. I'm not going to hold my breath, its probably one of those lost models you see and read about but never see a release.
  4. You can use the site all you want but in order to play FR(LCPD First Response) you need a legal purchased copy of GTA IV or EFLC. I'm not 100% sure what the prices are now days but I would think they would be pretty cheap off Amazon or something. Its worth it to be able to play FR and use all the awesome car models and mods.
  5. One way I do it is "surface>mapping>edit uv" then click on the texture of the light color. A window will pop up - Down at the bottom, "keep old mapping" should already be selected. Un-tick "disable old mapping" and tick "select old mapping" hit ok. Now in one of the view windows go into "UvMapper" In that window, lower left corner, click on material and "emerglights_emis" or "emerglights" should be under material if you did everything right. Click on whatever one is listed and re-position the mapping of the light color. Make sure you have "move" selected. Thats how I do it, maybe the more experienced modders have a better way. Now if other lights are attached to the light your changing you make have to detach them for the time being otherwise it will change the color of every light I believe that's attached to it. To more experienced modders - I'm not claiming this is the best way or even if this is the right way but I was self taught and its worked for me. So if its wrong I'll gladly edit this post
  6. LOL, I always wished there was a way for them to fix that. @Ridge - Can't wait for pretty much everything on that list. Looking forward to releases!!
  7. You can install police cars in other car slots but only the Pol, Pol2, Noose, FBI, PolPatriot and Pol3, Pol4 if you have EFLC will have police functions. ie Laptop and the in game siren which makes traffic move. The cars in the other slots will only be able to use ELS and the ELS siren. No police computer and no traffic yielding. These cars have to be added to the els.ini in order for the lights/siren to work.
  8. Do the lines on the hood match up with the lines on the side like they do on the real car?
  9. I don't think it looks good. It has whelen TIR6 textures in the arjent which isn't even right. Kevin - I'll be eagerly waiting your release.
  10. It looks way to saturated, almost neon like. Turn down the saturation or use a darker color if you must use blue. I would use a darker color. But I agree with Curt4444 in that the blue doesn't really go with the black. I'm not trying to be mean, I know its your first release. I'm just trying to give you tips. Feel free to PM me if you have questions.
  11. Dhruv - both of those are bugs CVPIs if thats what your asking. I think they are both still on gpm or at least I know the one with the liberty is. I don't have time to find them right now or I would.
  12. Looks good, I'm from the area also! Just saw one of these (the charcoal version) responding this morning on the freeway by Mayfair
  13. I also enjoy the CTL+P "force duty"shortcut and hope it stays in the game. Saves a lot of time like others have said with crashes and loading. Anyway thats off topic - hope you get your game fixed but I was going to say try CTL+P but others beat me to it

  18. Got my download. Where did you get that tahoe from?
  19. There isn't suppose to be a full free version of Zmod either but someone makes a crack. If you have a specific question I think any of us would be more than happy to help you but when it comes to you wanting to be taught from pretty much the ground up then I'm out. If anyone does that I would be shocked. IMO its just to difficult to try over PMs. Come to my house and sit beside me and then I'll show you.... In the meantime, this was posted awhile ago for someone who was asking the same question and I'll quote that person "Granted its not creating from scratch but its roughly the same principles." -Harper ......enjoy [media=]
  20. Like above posters said, its time consuming and not something that can be explained in a forum post. Also like Tom said, models can be gotten from a variety of places. There is a fair selection of parts out to that can be used to make more things. I was clueless when I started but I taught myself through trial and error and now I'm doing things I never thought I would have been able to(I know that sounded like a commercial for a college, lol) @ stormoffires - I worship you if you worked for zipper and designed Socom. I use to play 1,2,3,Combined Assault ALL THE TIME when i was younger. I loved that game online.... Most fun I've ever had on a video game and I don't see anything beating that.
  21. Idea #1 - Sentence structure so its not so hard to read. A period works wonders :) For changing your view, if you haven't changed the keybindings I'm 99% sure that "V" changes the camera. See if that helps As for the bumper hitting the ground, I haven't tested that Tahoe yet but it could be your handling line. Try a different line or use the normal polpatriot one and see if that fixes it
  22. Looks a lot like mdc.lcpdfr but I guess an offline version would be cool too. One suggestion would be to change the background of the screen so something more solid like black or have the lcpd logo but turn the opacity down so its easy to see. Someone may have mentioned this but I didn't have time to read every post
  23. Yep, HG2 side runners. -Love them and glad you like the car!
