Anonymous usage stats not sent: possible server failure or no connectivity. Why do people think this is crime stats? This is the anonymous usage statistics that the game sends (version, RAM, CPU speed). The server that used to process that is down, so no anonymous statistics get sent anymore. This error will be appearing in everyone's logs.

That's the IPB integration, I can't change the permissions it asks for without a lot of code hacking. IIRC it: Allows you to login to the site using Twitter/Facebook Syncs the statuses (if you ask it) between the site and Twitter/Facebook

It's really a legacy thing, it's been like that since about 2 years (before we bought the lcpdfr.com domain and it was hosted on shared hosting at xgweb.co.uk). We could change it, but we'd break links and probably mess up some Google SEO stuff.
