============================== Nassau/Liberty County Skin Kit Release Version: 1.0 by CG Blaze ============================== This kit contains everything needed to create your very own fleet of NC/LCPD vehicles! All skins and unit numbers, although not accurate to the exact number, are based off of their real life counterparts, and are as close to accurate as possible. In addition to the skins, I have included all of the components necessary to fully convert gfxle's Honolulu PD CVPI into an almost perfectly accurate representation of the actual NCPD CVPI's! All skins were hand painted by CG Blaze (aka Xoriss). This release contains the following: ---------------- 1998+ Crown Victoria Recommended Model: Honolulu PD CVPI (w/ Edge) by gfxle (http://gtapolicemods...?do=file&id=876) - 4x Nassau patrol/beat unit skins, individually numbered. - 2x Nassau bonus skins, 1 Emergency Ambulance Bureau, 1 Supervisor (4 digits) - 4x Liberty patrol/beat unit skins, individually numbered. - 2x Liberty bonus skins, 1 Emergency Ambulance Bureau, 1 Supervisor - 2x Trim setups (1 cutoff at the PD logo, the other rear door trim only, for compatible cars only) - 1x Lightbar glass edit for gfxle's CVPI (Not tested on other CVPI's!) - 1x Emissive texture for gfxle's CVPI (Not tested on other CVPI's!) NOTE: When using these textures in conjunction with gxfle's model, use the following ELS settings and flash patterns for best results. Primary Flash Pattern - X-03 Secondary Flash Pattern - C-01 [POLICE] Active = 1 Halogen_Only = 0 Color_Light1L = 0 Color_Light2L = 2 Color_Light3R = 2 Color_Light4R = 0 Color_Light7L = 3 Color_Light8C = 3 Color_Light9R = 3 Offst_SLights = 0 ---------------- ---------------- 2003-05 Impala Recommended Model: Any 03-05 Impala you can find. Skins were tested on this one: http://gtapolicemods...?do=file&id=814 - 4x Nassau patrol/beat unit skins, individually numbered. - 4x Liberty patrol/beat unit skins, individually numbered. - 1x Blank window glass (for some of BxBugs' 03-05 Impala's) - Rambar/camera removal textures (for some of BxBugs' 03-05 Impala's, not edited by me, just added for your convenience) ---------------- ---------------- Ambulance Recommended Model: Lt. Caine's AMBS v1.3M [ELS-H] (http://gtapolicemods...?do=file&id=511) - 4x Nassau Emergency Ambulance Bureau skins - 4x Liberty Emergency Ambulance Bureau skins - 1x Debadge texture (removes the "STEED S-450" badge, it blocks the NC/LCPD logo) NOTE: To get it to spawn with white rims, edit the AMBULANCE line in the "carcols.dat" file to read 113,113,113. ---------------- ======================== CONTACT/COPYRIGHT INFO: ======================== Email me at: [email protected]<script cf-hash='f9e31' type="text/javascript"> /* */</script> or PM me on the LCPDFR.com forums. I'm more likely to see it there. Copyright? There is no copyright. That's silly. You can edit these however you desire, just don't be that guy who releases someone else's work as their own. No one wants to be that guy, and in such a smallish community such as this, you'll be found out real quick. If you want to release an edited version of any of these skins for some reason, that's fine, just email them to me and I'll approve (or disapprove) it. From time to time, I will also do requests. Feel free to shoot me your ideas for a skin. ================== A Final Note of Thanks ================== I'd like to thank BxBugs123 and Lt. Caine for the templates used, JM Designs for the trim template and last, but certainly not least, gfxle for their excellent Honolulu CVPI. Without it, I probably wouldn't have even bothered making these, lol. Like this mod? Like classic cars? Fancy a trip in the wayback machine? Then be sure to check out ! What about those aging Impalas? Want to replace them with something more modern? Then check out Post's Next Gen NCPD/LCPD Skin Pack!

  3. Man that's a tough decision. I'm kinda leanin' towards Caps-Rhino-Horizontal Bars, but then again, you don't see too many cars with Setina's being released nowadays. Either way, if I may make two suggestions - one being make whatever pushbar you go with removable, the other being the ability to map the lightbar's individual modules separately (like Cj24's recent releases). Maximum customization is something I always look for in a model... Looks great though man, keep it up!
  4. I don't believe any unlocked versions of that rim exist. Beyond that, I'm not even sure who I'd ask about that. I've seen less than a handful of models with the correct 2003 rims on them for IV. The SA community might be a little different, I've seen tons of every style CVPI rim imaginable released for SA. Maybe try looking around the GTASA community? Also, if you find them, let me know. I've been taking an interest in getting back into modelling...
  5. Woo! Finally, an unlocked Freedom!
  6. "doesn't record flash" Are you implying that the coroners will actually walk up and take pictures of the bodies? That's incredible.
  7. If you want, I can upload my "killthedog.png" file I use to un-K9 all of bugs' cars so you'll basically be back to just a slicktop.
  8. I got pulled over by an unmarked sky-blue CVPI a couple of years ago (40 in a 35 or something like that, this particular pct didn't like me too much, but that's another story...), funny thing about it was I didn't even know I was being pulled over until I came to a stop in a parking spot and got out of my car to walk into a store, haha. There were only 2 red halogens in the grill and wags in the headlights, all of which was completely below my FOV (rear setup was equally minimal, wags in the reverse/brake lights, maybe a single deck light?). Little bit of an awkward moment, but if memory serves me right I never got a ticket for it. IMO, given the average intelligence of most drivers on the road today, I'd say Xmas tree setups are just bad as minimal setups. Corner strobes, roof lightbar, a dashlight/mirror beams, and a set of decklights in the back seems to be the standard around here, and I'd say that's a pretty optimal setup. EDIT: Holy crap. My mind!!!
