  1. I pray you're not an American. Please don't ever visit us. Do us that favor.
  2. But the US getting involved directly, again? I just don't agree with it. At all.
  3. I agree with you completely. He did get Osama though.
  4. http://www.cnn.com/2014/08/07/world/iraq-options/index.html?c=homepage-t As much as I want to help people in these kinds of situations, the US DOES NOT need to be getting involved directly. That's why we have the UN, or even use NATO. The US is not the Guardian Angel of third world countries.
  5. I'd be shot and killed if I told you for treason... Lol but actually there are classified documents that measures the force of the world's armies done by the various intelligence sectors of the US's gov't and military. There are sites that you can Google and that info will come up. Some is accurate, and some are sketchy at best. But from what I do, they brief us on that info once a month. Edit: conscription is what I had going on in my mind when I brought up manpower. The US will only expand our military when we get a government and president that deem national defense important enough to stop cutting the freaking budget every year.
  6. Actually measuring the force power of each militaries, Russia and the US are usually equal. It measures variables such as the size of all the services (AF, navy, etc), training, technology, leadership.
  7. Since I really can't say anything bad regarding POTUS's, I'll just say I REALLY REALLY love our military presidents. They had balls, but also had logic and common sense. But it's no secret. USA vs Russia only stopped on paper at the end of the Cold War. It'll always been Red vs Blue, Freedom vs Tyranny. Although Russia could straight up stomp us through manpower. Look at WW2. I pray we never go to war with them...
  8. WHAT? so you're saying our entire country is trying to sound smart? Care to rephrase?
  9. Lie to Me. The Cal Lightman demeanor has fascinated me tremendously. Music sucks, but it shows him pretty well. For those who don't know, the show is based on the work of behavioral psychologist Paul Eckman. He's basically the Sherlock Holmes of reading people. He helps the Police/FBI solve crimes, and also takes on private cases. Although its highly unrealistic, the show was primarily a success, but as we all know, FOX gargles monkey balls.
  10. True The person below me prefers PPM over LCPDFR.
  11. Yup, I didn't wanna be "that guy" that points out the obivious, " You should have made back-ups", so I'll let Jay take the rap for that.. But in all seriousness you should make back ups, or at least just the absolute important stuff. I myself have 2 ext. HDDs with 10TB of total space. Will I ever fill it up? Nope. Product of a drunk tech binge...
  12. CPU: Intel 8088 @ 4.77 MHz MEMORY: 16 kB PSU: 25 KW GPU: 'Da fuck is graphics processing unit? Cooler: Box fan HDD: 5MB Case: Hunk o' metal Motherboard: Wolverhampton MB Makes for a buttery smooth Battlefield 4.
  13. *In Russian accent* "Ohh.. That's too bad. You should always back-up your work!"
  14. Hahahaha! Those officers will be going a lot of donut and coffee runs. Barney Fife would be proud.
  15. The man, the legend, the voice, and THE NECK!!
  16. What I actually drive Or this, depending on what part of the world I'm in...
  17. 'Cause why the hell not!?
  18. Really any Battlefield Friends videos.
  19. Psychology and sociology has proven it, unfortunately. While yes, SOME change there ways, a lot still do not. We are a product of our agents of socialization. Which, for the majority of us are our parents, friends, teachers, etc. And like he pointed out, when he was raised it was socially acceptable to be a racist. If your force-fed a belief for 20 years of your life, it's hard to change it. And many do not. My grandfather was a racist. Still was when he died, but he never changed. Just "hid" it. Plus, down in the southern US, racism runs RAMPANT still.
  20. There are. Although probably more DHS, the the DOJ. You can sue the government. That's what's happening at the moment. Politicians are suing Obama (Congress-the government) for his asinine stance on immigration. But it would have to be something major. Large scale. National. And I'm not saying they haven't been used before. But in today's society, it would take something major to even provoke the thought of sending the military in. There are movements to try to disarm police officers right now. When they were used to dispel riots and promote order it was a different time. And look what happens last time... It left a permanent scar on Kent State University. They shot and killed unarmed protesters.
  21. In the U.S today- in the LIBERAL U.S. today- the National Guard will NEVER be called in, unless multiple states were under attack or it was on a national scale. The last thing the world wants to see is the U.S. using the powerful military to just go in and shoot the ever living hell out of a city. It IS NOT a warzone. It's still a city/town in the United States. The highest level of response would more than likely be the FBI. The military is not Law Enforcement. When reports are written, individuals taken into custody, individuals buried, charges filed, etc, the government would be sued out of ever orifice in their body. Using the military to shoot and kill citizens of the U.S??? Bye, bye United States of America.
