  1. Your rights are set by court precedent. I believe Tinker v Des Moines, stated they are still allowed their civil rights, but a court precedent stated that it may not interfere with educational atmosphere. Also schools don't need probable cause. They only need reasonable suspicion. There is no Student Bill of Rights. But in your case, That student was a dumb ass. It's school property. But that's beside the point. What was he hoping to prove by defying the teacher? People like that piss me off.
  2. Ahhh.... The liberal vs the conservative.... While I'm all for isolation in the form of another "Monroe Doctrine", when a US citizen (non-combatant) has been executed for being an American, retaliation is needed. But in other areas, like Ukraine, we need to stay the fuck outta there!
  3. It's the same problem when we were trying to get bin Laden. We have no idea where, or what to bomb. We're scared to bomb them, since they may have hostages there. Every place the SF teams have hit, have come up empty. As of now, we're getting nowhere. Besides, these guys are willing to blow themselves up for Allah. Us bombing them isn't really a big deterrent for them. If we've been bombing them for the last 20-25 years, look where we are right now. Still fighting.
  4. You couldn't be anymore wrong. Any of the countries that have had citizens executed is strong enough. Air strikes are already happening, except we have no idea where they are. Same with all the SpecOps on the groung. We're fighting a resistance movement. But we need to be more direct in action. Not pussy footing around.
  5. Special Forces are already being used, but they've failed horribly so far. Besides, I don't know what they hope to do, because ISIS holds provinces and land. They control whole parts of Syria. They're responsible for all the tribes and villages in places like Syria, Iraq and the like. They're responsible for the food, education, and delivering of supplies so the people in those areas are dependent on them. They're just breeding an unlimited amount of terrorists. While I'm against another war or conflict, I'd be okay with going in to eradicate these barbarians. In my mind, executing a US citizen because his is from the US is an act of war. How much more powerful are they going to grow before another 9/11 happens. Or they completely overthrow ME governments?
  6. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/09/13/reports-islamic-state-releases-video-of-hostage-beheading/15595887/ So I don't know about you guys, but I'm now ready for direct action against these depraved barbarians. It's clear Syria and Iraq cannot deal with this. It will become genocidal if it gets out if hand, between the Suuni and shiite. 3 non combatants, one being an aid worker are beheaded and directed towards the West, specifically the US. You executed an aid worker?!? I'm all for Gitmo right now... Words cannot express my disgust.
  7. Is the brochure current? I went onto their site where you can order the car, and the cheapest I could find it, without import fees, was $79k for their "S" model.
  8. Obviously, but I pulled it from a new story where a "ludicrously wealthy" city wanted to purchase a fleet of Teslas. Actually the cheapest, barebones tesla I found was $79k. Without police packaging and all that. Did you not realize it was photoshopped? Of course they didn't. It's not real.
  9. No department should spend THIS MUCH MONEY ON A FREAKING CAR!
  10. PS4. Seems that *most* XBone titles are eventually ported to PC (DR3, Ryse, etc). Whether or not Destiny ever will or not, remains to be seen. However I just don't get the whole "I want to play ONE game, so does that justify me dropping $300 for a console?" discussions. Maybe because I'm such a cynic, but if it's only for one or two games, I just bite the bullet and miss out.... Unless I have the money to spend.
  11. Lol Detroit doesn't have good or bad parts. It's pretty much all bad, depending on your definition.
  12. That was am embarrassing loss. But in typical Browns fashion, "so close".
  13. Top running back? Haha! Too funny. I'm glad. As I'm a Browns fan, I'm smiling at this outcome. And chuckling to myself.
  14. Yup, I agree. Looking at it as trying to be realistic, I absolutely hated it. But watching it for what it was, a dramatized cop action, I enjoyed it. Plus, who doesn't love the very end of it?
  15. Yep, Raven Shield. The AI mechanics are awkward due to the age of the engine, but still fun today, none the less.
  16. The Dark Knight Rises. Let's send our ENTIRE police force into a tunnel against a masterfully clever villain.
  17. That's exactly what I did. I got a free Associate's degree in CJ after my tech school.
  18. CS:GO. Have to play with friends however. If you try to play "tactical" with other people, they get way too intense for a game. That's why I stopped playing. The amount of hate I get, because I had a hostage and couldn't perform a jump 360 headshot. Try any of the original Rainbow six games. Specifically Rainbow Six 3. The amount of planning and tactics will make your head spin.
  19. Yeah there are a few who do want Security Forces, like me. But Security Forces is always heavily undermanned but easy to get (lowest ASVAB score for the AF, lol). But they force you to either retrain to another AFSC or attend OTS. We have way too many NCOs. Not sure what the Army does, but since there's the Community College of the AF which is fully accredited, we get credits for just about everything we do. Plus credits toward a CJ degree by completing SF training. But I have like 5 guys in my squadron who are TACP and CCT washouts. Although I will say this, I believe PJ training is the hardest pipeline to complete of the armed forces, with maybe an exception to the SEALs. He may make it through though. Air Force SOF is very technical and intricate and long as hell which is why most washout. Hell, PJ training is like a little over 2 years. That's half your enlistment unless you did 6. lol! Any washouts who are SF guys, are tools. They're the ones that bitch and moan and usually get booted.
  20. Being a pilot is hard to get into to. Security forces, if you breathe, walk, and shoot, we'll take you. The vast majority of SF are washouts from Pararescue and Combat Controllers. Lol
  21. I'm just going on pilots I've talked to. I'll post the official requirements below taken from the USAF site. With corrective surgery, blows to the head or sudden pressure changes could jack up your eyesight. That's some PDs disqualify you if you have had it. Although you are correct about the acuity. However something tells me that due to the competitive nature of the career, they'll prefer candidates with near perfect visual acuity. Note: I realized we're talking about the RCAF after I posted everything. My Bad.
  22. Vision has to be uncorrected. No lasik or laser. And depending on what you're flying, no contacts or glasses.
  23. Actually being a pilot is looked at as being kick-ass. Take that from a Security Forces guy. We're looked down upon by almost everybody in every branch..... But it is extremely hard to get into. The excellent physical fitness, perfect eye sight, college degree (for vast majority), rank of officer, etc. It's competitive and exclusive. That's why you're "cool" if you're a fighter pilot. But a word of advice, if you're insecure about your likes, don't go into the military. And please don't let those be known in basic training (Protip) . Of course you could do this instead:
  24. You're scared because they said they have terrorists? In our country?!?!? Always have. We've had them since the 80s. We should be more concerned with domestic terrorism and less with ISIS and ISIL. On slightly related side note, did you know Obama's "relaxed" immigration policy is also opening up the door to terrorists? Slow clap for Obama..........
  25. This. When I was like 10 yrs old and Geek Squad just started using vehicles, I ALWAYS thought they were cops. Haha!
