Yes, most of the mods I'm releasing are actually just personal models i made to use myself. I don't really like crown vics for GTA because they don't fit in as well as the Vapid. -
Oh I'm always around, even if i don't post anything ;D I'm quite actively modding vehicles, but as you can see it's all Vapids, and all for personal use. Though i am considering releasing a pack, i want to finish the FBI model before i think about it. Each car here has 4 different numbered liveries, for a total of 24 differently numbered skins. 20 are BPD, and 4 are MSP. At some point, i'm going to switch out all the wheels. I've modded together a new CVPI hubcap that when you set the texture to transparent, it becomes a steelrim. I'm thinking about trying to incorporate the hubcap texture onto the car livery, so that one livery can be steel rim, and the other can have the hubcap. We'll see how it works out though.

This is my fleet of Vapid cruisers. I've overwritten polpatriot, pstockade, and nstockade to make them cruisers.

A plain and simple, ELS v7 ready, Vapid cruiser with a Vector Lightbar. I've included two sets of the file, the first set has Ford Hubcaps, and the second set has only steel rims. I have also included a Police2 with each set, which does not have a rambar. You will also find three different folders with three different sets of textures for the lightbar. Yeah i agree, i'm trying to figure out how i want to handle it. The white lights actually look pretty good, it's just the blue ones that look funky. I was thinking about darkening the edges of the light, so just the center of each face of the pod would really light up, but it would be a lot of work. I might switch over to having just the light part light up, but the model that i'm using is set up for rotators, so i'll have to remodel the interiors of the lights.

I decided to create a new download for these because they've changed a lot since 1.0. These Vapid Cruisers are what i believe they would look like if they were actually made by Ford. They're very plain, not featuring a ton of lights and accessories. The model looks great if you want a cruiser that really fits in to the default game. I've also included a police2, which doesn't have a rambar. I have included two sets of .wtds and elsv7 files. One with all blue lights, and the other is red and blue. The skins that are included are "Liberty Police" skins with a Boston, Massachusetts style. Also, there's no crash when shooting at windows bug! ELSv7 Ready! Looks absolutely fantastic! Any chance you could PM me where you got the model? I found a CVPI model floating around that i was thinking about buying, but i want to make sure it's not this one before i spend any money! -
That skin looks awesome! Color is spot on. I'm not sure why everyone keeps doing it, but I've never seen a Boston cruiser with red text on it. Most of the cruisers have "www.bpdnews.com" on them now where it says traffic enforcement. Also just above where it says traffic is normally the cruiser number. Is this going to be release? i'd love to use it :D
