Ceril's Works in Progress A Texture pack i'm working on
  2. Hey guys, So i went through the motion of changing all my my vehicles ELS textures to all blue. However, the only car that shows all blue lights is the police model, police2 and up remain red/blue in game. in OIV, clicking on the .yft file shows blue/blue I am using Vanilla ELS Pack I Installed all the vehicles in Open IV to Mods/x64e.rpf/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf I then went into every .ytd and changed out the appropriate textures from red/blue to blue/blue. I clicked on the .yft and checked to make sure all the textures were showing correctly. the normal police.yft shows perfectly fine in game. lights are blue/blue like they should be For police2/3/4 however, the vehicles ELS lights and glass textures that i changed remain red/blue Any help would be greatly appreciated, i'm at a loss on this one... FIGURED IT OUT, i put the vehicles in the wrong .rpf all good now :]
  3. Hey all! So i'm just coming back to modding, and i have an idea for a project that i'd like to start, but i'm a little confused about how GTA V models work. I haven't touch zmodeler since before GTA V came out. I get that there's two LOD files, the normal.ytf and normal_hi If i want to modify default cars, which of these files should i be importing into Zmodeler? Should i modify the _hi.ytf, and then import the L0 into the normal.ytf? Or can i modify the normal.ytf and use that to create the _hi.ytf? Any input would be greatly appreciated, I'm at a loss as to where to start..
  4. Without poking through the model, it's hard to say. However, if you can see the lights in Zmodeler, but they aren't showing up in game, it could be one of two things in my experience. First is you put the ELS lights after the windscreens on the Hierarchy, but from what i can see they're at the top. So no issue there. Next is the material Hierarchy. I've noticed that when the windscreen materials are above the ELS lightsemissive material, sometimes they don't appear in game. My suggestion would be to check that. If your windscreen materials are above the ELS materials, make a new windscreen material at the bottom of the hierarchy and switch all your windscreens over to it. Then check the model in game. I've had that happen to me 2 or 3 times working on models. Edit - If you have lights that have a white texture instead of blue, make sure that the .png file associated with the material is in the .wtd I've also heard of ENBs in use with EFLC can cause that sometimes.
  5. Doesn't sound like handcuffs at all... I have access to a high quality mic, would you like me to record my Smith and Wesson handcuffs for you?
  6. Make sure that you have all of your proper parts_L1s, and make sure that all of your collision files are set up and named correctly.
  7. "Hey partner, your gun is jabbing me in the back, could you move it..?" Partner: "Sure, but that's not my gun!" Yes i think you misunderstood :p

    Vapid Fleet 1

Yes, most of the mods I'm releasing are actually just personal models i made to use myself. I don't really like crown vics for GTA because they don't fit in as well as the Vapid.
  9. If you're looking for a civilian Vapid Cruiser, i have one at home that i can upload in about 12 hours.
  10. Why hasn't anyone mentioned The Naked Gun movies, or Police Squad? Funniest stuff ever!

    Vapid Fleet 1

Oh I'm always around, even if i don't post anything ;D I'm quite actively modding vehicles, but as you can see it's all Vapids, and all for personal use. Though i am considering releasing a pack, i want to finish the FBI model before i think about it. Each car here has 4 different numbered liveries, for a total of 24 differently numbered skins. 20 are BPD, and 4 are MSP. At some point, i'm going to switch out all the wheels. I've modded together a new CVPI hubcap that when you set the texture to transparent, it becomes a steelrim. I'm thinking about trying to incorporate the hubcap texture onto the car livery, so that one livery can be steel rim, and the other can have the hubcap. We'll see how it works out though.

    Ceri's Vapid Fleet

This is my fleet of Vapid cruisers. I've overwritten polpatriot, pstockade, and nstockade to make them cruisers.
