  1. About 6 years ago, when i was looking for my first car, there was a guy selling one of these for $1,000 WITH the screen accurate, working PA on top. I was so tempted... It probably would have fallen apart just like in the movies, the car was beat.
  2. If this is a model that you made, you could set the dirt layer in the material to a transparent texture. Without access to the model, i don't believe it can be done.
  3. I love what you did with the tail-lights / indicators!
  4. +1 The police did try to grab the leash.
  5. I've been keeping an eye on this as a dog owner, and someone going through the process of becoming a police officer. I've loved animals all my life, and i would absolutely love to be an ASPCA Law Enforcement officer. From what I've read about the situation, the police were in the right to do what they did. In both the shooting of the dog, and the arrest of the man. The man was at the scene filming for most of the day, and blaring loud music from his car. This disrupted the police in the area conducting an arrest warrant, and as a result the police decided to arrest him after apprehending their suspects. In my opinion, the guy was completely wrong for bringing his dog there in the first place. I would NEVER bring my German Shepherd to a scene like that, and start causing a ruckus. And if i happened to stumble upon that kind of scene while driving / walking with my dog, it's obvious that it would be no place for my dog, and i would keep on going. And that's exactly what this guy should have done.
  6. If for some strange reason the developers decided to change games, it looks like Watch Dogs would make an awesome platform for a policing game. Hard to tell though, because the game hasn't come out yet.
  7. If you prefer the Original Vapid logo, simply extract the old ones from the original .wtd and replace the ones in my wtds with the originals. Or, you can download them here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/ofmh2876dclsewr/Original_Vapid_Badges.rar
  8. Generally this shake is caused when your dummies are out of alignment. Make sure your chassis dummy and .wtf dummy are aligned.
  9. Hey Guys, Normally i like to just use my gallery for previews of my works in progress, but i decided to create a video for this one. Basically, i'm working on another Vapid. (gasp, i know). Before you yell at me GAD'ing recently, i'm doing it because there's a serious lack of plain and simple Vapids with various lightbars. So yeah, i've been GADing some simple Vapids. So why the Vapid, and not the Crown Vic? No, it's not because the modding community is flooded with Crown Vics. I simply enjoy the Vapid more. I feel it fits into the game better. So anyways, I'll be doing a few more GAD vapids. I'm currently working on a Vapid with a Federal Signal Vista Arjent lightbar. I'm using KevinDV's glorious Arjent, and i've modified the ELS set up extensively on it. After i release the Arjent (hopefully this weekend), i'll be working on a Slicktop Version, then an FBI version. After that, i'm totally open to ideas. So if you have any Vapids that you would love to see, just let me know and i'll consider them. Now for the fun part! By posting this video, i want feedback. I would love to hear your opinions on the lightbar and how it's set up. Tell me something you like about the lightbar, and tell me something that you don't like. Please don't hesitate to provide suggestions. I myself am quite happy with it, i think it's fairly realistic to videos that i've watched on youtube of it, and if you guys tell me so, i'd be perfectly happy to release it as-is. (with the usual Rambar, No rambar, Hubcaps No Hubcaps deal). That being said, please try to avoid posting "That's stupid, just quit" Not that i expect to get that response, i hold you guys to a higher standard than that. I'm just throwing it in for good measure. Anyways, Thoughts, Comments and Suggestions please!
  10. Looks great! As a mass resident, my only comment is about the State Police colors. In photographs the lighter blue always looks very light, but in reality it's actually a lot darker. That's my only nit-pitck, and it's really not even a big deal :p Lightbars look great! In terms of the Red / Amber in the back, there's no set pattern, every department is a little bit different. The most common in BRBBBBAB for a liberty, but i have also seen BBRBBABB and a few other variations that i can't remember. All in all, you've done a very nice job, can't wait to use them!
  11. Just checked it out :D I did notice that only 1 livery showed - the one with 1042 on the roof. How do I make sure the other liveries show?
  12. I've added it to the new download :]
  13. Just became aware of an issue with the vector lightbar, will be rolling out a fix shortly.

A plain and simple, ELS v7 ready, Vapid cruiser with a Vector Lightbar. I've included two sets of the file, the first set has Ford Hubcaps, and the second set has only steel rims. I have also included a Police2 with each set, which does not have a rambar. You will also find three different folders with three different sets of textures for the lightbar. I have included the vanilla Red and White set, a Blue and white set, and a set based on the Las Vegas Police Department. http://youtu.be/PI4M9uquxhs Credits: - Original Vapid Cruiser by Rockstar Games - Unlocked Vapid by Lt. Caine - Rambar made by Bxbugs123. - CVPI Hubcaps by Bxbugs123 - Federal Signal Vista originally by F5544 converted to ELS by Ceril - 3D grill made by Ceril - Skins made by Ceril - Screenshots and video by Beckugan - A special credit to Pedro Rios, who explained to me how to fix the window crashing bugs.
  14. Do you want just the honeycomb grill from the unstable CVPI to put on another model? Or do you not like the honeycomb? You could always delete everything except the grille from the CVPI that you like, then export it to a .wtf Then, on the model that you want the grille on, delete the grill and import the .wtf of the other grille. Then all you have to do is move it around and attach it!
  15. Not without editing the model itself. I've thought about it, but i'm not sure if i'll end up doing it. The Vapid_Liberty.ini is for ELS v7 and goes in the ELS folder. You can then list it as the .ini folder in the els.ini (if you're using V7)
  16. You could also export one of the .z3ds to a .wtf and import it on the other .z3d
  17. Hey guys! I finally found a rotator setup that i actually like with my ELS vector. There's still a little bit more polishing up to do, and i need to create some different colored emerglights_emis textures. Here's two video previews though: (they sometimes don't work with browsers, i have no idea why) I'll hopefully be releasing these by tomorrow night. Edit - Just as a note, when i release the model, the default .wtd will be the normal white and red ELS textures.
  18. Damnit, Caine's vector is a lot better than the one i'm in the process of coming out with. Is there any chance he'd be willing to share it with me to use on mine?
