  1. Well, first of all. We need a price range. Second of all, just because you don't know how to build a computer doesn't mean you shouldn't build one, it's the best choice and most memorable and rewarding and cost effective.

  3. I've been playing the DayZ Steam Alpha for a few weeks now, I haven't played the Arma II mod. Indeed I agree with everything above. It's an excellent game especially for an Alpha, a little buggy with items and other misc. stuff here and there. Without friends or a clan, it can not only be boring, but extremely dangerous. Of the main ways to die (Nature, Zombie, Supplies, Other Players) the other players category is the biggest threat. Being on a high populated server in a city with nobody around to protect you is just asking for it, there's always bad apples who will shoot on sight. Zombies, Supplies, and Nature (Like breaking legs, getting sick) are less of an issue. I'm part of a clan that helps noobs and hunts down bandits who kill those people. It's a great experience working with players like that. (Pro tip: Use Skype, Team Speak, Mumble ect, never ever use ingame chat if at all possible). Here are some photos, more of the more recent have pictures of the clan. http://steamcommunity.com/id/mrquiggles1/screenshots/?appid=221100&sort=newestfirst&browsefilter=myfiles&view=imagewall
  4. Reminds me of the Washington DC Capitol Police cars.
  5. Ok seriously, what's taking so long on this video? You can literally hit record, fire the tazer. And end record. You don't even need to compress/render it...

  8. I think all the MSP Explorers I've seen all have Rambars. Same go with the Chargers, Tahoes, Crown Vics, but for example the pictures I sent those are some examples, the few I've missed. And likewise, I always hated pointless fighting and stuff, especially over the internet. Rational solutions are the best solutions. :)

  10. Ah, the Germans. We can trust them. Ironically, they have a better democracy than the United States. In addition, they're amazing engineers.
  11. Perhaps we both have a different definition of the word "obsolete". I'm thinking of it much more harshly, like obsolete meaning useless, already getting bottlenecks, lacking new technology to run the game much much much better. Perhaps by obsolete, you just mean "there is a new model out", which in that case I'd agree. Ok, and then you said "No point upgrading to GTX 770" from the 670 SLI, and again I'd agree there. And the price drop confirms that. So looks like we had a slight definition misunderstanding. :D
  12. Tpr. Dashie, if I could be as humble to ask for an additional request, how do you change the color of the rims? I changed ford_steelie to all solid white and got the results in the video, a dark greyish. If you compare the vehicle next to it, it's a much solid white. I searched through the vehicles files several times and could not find the file to change it to white. Several experiments later, nothing.
  13. Yes it is Ryan, so just download that explorer and use the skins on it. Yeah, I can see where you're coming from. I'm not looking to argue either. What I meant was I don't necessarily agree with them having a bad reputation, but I'd see where people were coming from in relation to the Boston Bombings where there were a lot of laws broken to catch these guys. Perhaps when I said "I've never heard anything about them having a bad reputation, except for the Boston Marathon stuff and I can see that" It was a little too vague. Again, all I meant was I've never seen a bad reputation, except for the Marathon (I read a lot about it) and I can see where the points are being made, I don't necessarily agree. As for the vehicle models, the one thing about Undercoverchicken's MSP model was it didn't have a rambar, and that really disappointed me. Next, the Whelen Liberty was all blue, and didn't have the red + yellow alternators. With BxBug's models, I was at least able to change the lighting patterns to match the MSP's (All blue, Red alternators on the right, yellow on the left). As for the antenna, I didn't care too much for it. Some vehicles have it, some have it in the bull-whip (I believe that's what it's called) configuration, and some have the erect antenna. And if you make some more models visible, that's be amazing. You're so good at models from what I've seen. References: I think this is what Undercoverchicken used. (Not very accurate, I'm not sure why it doesn't have a rambar or white rims. Maybe showcase?). Or maybe this: (Maybe the MSP doesn't have white rims for STOP? I have absolutely no idea. A bit odd. That's true, it could be coincidental. But in many cases it's not a coincidence, I've seen numerous programs pulling over cops in police cars because they're speeding. It just enforces the stereotype that some, and I repeat, some cops think they are above the law.
  14. Here's a good example of a little MSP police misconduct. In addition, police misconduct is something we'll just have to live with. However, it should be the citizen's job to tell the police what they can and can't do. Recently, it seems the police are just starting down a path of doing whatever they want to do, which could command from high up, poorly educated police officers, the culture, who knows. And getting back to what you were saying about the female officer, stuff like that is just the norm now a days. It's really unfortunate that there is that aspect to the police culture, and it's even more unfortunate some people only see the bad side and judge the police only based on the misconducts they do.
  15. If what you say is true (And I'm not doubting you), that's absolutely ridiculous. I'm sure every trooper is slightly different, some may take more pride and dignity in their work. If I were to become a trooper, stuff like that would be second nature. Stuff like a tidy uniform, fully functioning and clean equipment, courtesy and professionalism ect. Perhaps the MSP has just lacked discipline lately, academy standards relaxed ect. Especially for a paramilitary department of the commonwealth, that does sound unacceptable.
  16. Obsolete? The 600 series is 2 year old technology at most. Just because you don't have the brand newest graphic processors doesn't mean the older brands are obsolete. They all still work, and still available for sale. Buying a 600 series series right now is a perfect solution to get performance and savings. I don't agree with you about overprice, perhaps I'd agree that it's a lot of money to buy the newest series technology.
