How to turn of LCPDFR restoring from crash?!

Featured Replies

Hello, so im having this annoying problem. I would really like to know how to stop LCPDFR from restoring after crash, because everytime, when its trying to restore my last gameplay, my game will crash.I read all topics here on the forums about the same problem, but i tried everything listed there and nothing helped.. I deleted  Savegame.fr and oldsession.fr,- that didnt helped, also i tried to change in my LCPDFR.ini file with  AutoSaveEnabled=False (that didnt helped too)

My game will start after like 20 CRASHES after LCPDFR decides to stop restoring all of a sudden.. Then when i Quit and want to play again i have to wait again for like 1 hour for Lcpdfr to stop restoring and then i can play normally..  Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Delete the files with the ".fr" file extension in your GTA IV directory.

I said that i already deleted  Savegame.fr and oldsession.fr .. Its still restoring and after that it says that game couldnt start because theres no savegame. (i dont have more ".fr" files in my game only theese two)

You'll need to delete all of them, if it is still restoring it, you missed something.

But how can i delete them if theres no more of them? They are only in main directory, right?

Open up the LCPD:FR RESPONSE CONFIGURATOR in your LCPD:FR folder of your GTA IV Root Directory. Many people don't notice this, but if you go onto option tab 2, right at the top, there is a button called auto save. Turn that off. Make sure all .fr files have been deleted from your GTA IV Directory by going to the search box and typing .fr and then try again.

Leave a like and respond if it worked!
