Real Police Work
I agree with OP. I hope the team does decide to add a huge amount of non-action policing. It's nice and all, but its too often. Need more investigating and less dangerous stuff than an armed or fleeing suspect. I don't rely on API/Callout mods because they're (usually) buggy and unstable, opposed to the actual developers putting the callouts in themselves. I hope in 0.3+ theres more variety of non violent callouts. Paperwork would kind of be boring, realistic yes but for the mods sake probably no.

[WIP][REL][UPDATED 08/AUG/2015] Police Radio [Tow, Coroner, PlateChecker, Pit Request, Tackle Suspect... and probably more...]
I'm heavily pleased with PoliceRadio. I think its great. I did have a suggestion (Sortof) in terms of scene cleanup, granted lspdfr doesnt get an ambulance implemented soon you should have the Coroner team come with a medical unit to check out the suspect, sort of like the one in GTAIV from Abraxas, or just an ambulance as a separate unit. I hope to see some API addons as well, currently LSPDFR is kind of bland considering its a beta. New callouts would be pretty cool. I've kind of been between LCPDFR and LSPDFR at the moment, considering LCPDFR already has more stability and features. But only time will have stuff improve. CalloutsV doesnt seem to agree with me too well, but I'm gonna be trying it again.

LSPDFR 0.2 Review / Suggestions for future
I added onto my original post and instead posted it in the LSPDFR 0.2 Announcement thread, as feedback. I'm sure they already look at suggestion threads (hopefully) but I'd rather not have the same two things in different places. and I hate to make a whole other thread about it. anyways, I can see all the features from LCPDFR coming into LSPDFR as each update comes by. Eventually it will have all of what we had before, and more (Unless they plan to make it completely different.) Only time will tell for now until some more realism aspects are added. One thing I really hope that doesn't happen is relying on the API for callouts. They did this with LCPDFR 1.0, and only about 4 callout mods came up, most of which died out and were never updated. I really hope to see more official team-made callouts (that aren't pursuits, and more towards policing) in the next couple updates, along with whatever other features they add. as for issues/suggestions I could sit here all day and list stuff thats wrong, or amazing. The arrest system imho needs a rehaul, or updating. I hope to see it like LCPDFR's with more features, and hopefully even frisking/searching while cuffed instead of having to uncuff them every time. Even small things like persistant handcuff animations, sometimes they run without being cuffed or sit in the car with their hands on thier lap, it just breaks immersion, but I can't complain as its only the second release.

DWI Checkpoint
This. Checkpoints would be awesome. General roadblocks (pursuit and non) included.

On foot callouts?
I assume you're right. Eventually, out of beta it *should* have every feature that LCPDFR had, and more. But I can see that being a while, seeing as developing takes time, each release may be a month or so. as for OP, I think the pursuits were placeholders as well, I'm sure more callouts will be added (hopefully). Theres always the API as well, the community will start to make addons that tie in directly with LSPDFR

LSPD First Response 0.2 Beta
for now theres only so much replayability (For me atleast). It's fun but not for long with the same stuff over. more scene control/cleanup (currently we have to rely on third party stuff. API might help when people start releasing stuff.), less importantly the arrest animation needs some work (I assume its a placeholder for now. Its fine but just choppy-ish lol) More policing less action shootouts, would love to see all the old features like frisking, persistent handcuff animations (maybe even a mode for cuffs?), just more on foot interaction rather than Check ID, citation or let go with a warning. once again, expected from early releases and nothing major. Arresting is sometimes buggy too, to my understanding certain things can only be applied to peds spawned by the script, I've tased citizens running before and they died in one shot (without being in a pursuit, I asked him to step out of his vehicle and when I went to do the arrest he ran before I could get him to comply. After being asked to leave he should be able to be detained or stand infront of his car.) theres an infinite list of stuff I could mention. i don't want to sound like im complaining , for what it is right now its great, I do love the huge pursuits without crashing (I love calling in tons of state/patrol units in pursuits, looks so nice :D) I can see this getting better with each release. hopefully you guys implement some/most of the suggestions posted, lots of them are really great. Its good to hear from the devs about upcoming stuff or just insight/answers to questions. Thanks for this, I was confused on the same thing lol.

LSPDFR 0.2 Review / Suggestions for future
Good suggestions

Basic stuff that should be added in 0.3
Just my idea(s) of what I think should be included to add to realism and fun overall. just basic stuff like Ambulances for suspects (That shouldn't drive like idiots, thanks to better AI/Custom AI), Roadblocks or better traffic managment, at the moment if you shoot cars will drive over you constantly and even if you get in their way, it's hard to clean up crime scenes, and policehelper doesnt exist, would be nice to place police barriers down to stop traffic/close a lane. It will be nice to see where the API goes, but there should be some more callouts as well instead of just pursuits, I already assume next update has this planned. Along with spawning roadblocks calling roadspikes/police barricades would be a nice radio addition to call from dispatch

LSPD First Response 0.2 Beta
Disappointed that theres no new callouts (Atleast from reading the documentation, I'm installing the mod now.) These other features look really promising though, great work!

Scene cleanup and control?
Is there any plans to add more to scene cleanup? in GTAIV's LCPDFR we had to rely heavily on mods for tow truck and ambulances because tow trucks werent really in the game and ambulances drove like shit. Will there be options to control scenes? Cones/Barriers maybe for closing off lanes or areas, and eventually controlling AI to leave the area (later obviously, I've read about how you currently have no control over certain peds, only if aimed at or spawned by a script.) I think it should be a lot more flexible now that (hopefully) the AI aren't as stupid in GTA 5, and that you have coded your own for some things like pursuits. It would just add to the realism and policing aspect, all in due time of course.

What are your thoughts on the very first version of LSPDFR? What would you like to see in the future?
I agree with that statement completely. I've posted my suggestions (not really in a fancy order) here

Initial thoughts and impressions (0.1 Beta) + Video
I agree with this. I hope to see features that existed with LCPDFR and more, def need a lot more ped and callout options. But for an initial release it's pretty neato. A lot more of a detailed list than mine. I think there should also be more options pre-game launch (No random pursuits/Ambient events. Disable callouts temporarily, etc.)

Feedback, notes & Suggestions.
You could look at this as like a review or just my thoughts. I hope the developers look over the suggestions often and take some in mind. As for a first release of the mod LSPDFR I think it was amazing! even with what it came with, I still had fun playing it. Obviously it's a very early stage release, and I didn't expect too much from it (but what it did get was great.) The first thing to note is how well it ran compared to GTA IV, I got some noteable FPS drops but the game hasn't crashed on me yet (At least not LSPDFR related.) I'll put what I think were issues and awesome within the mod: The first thing I noticed is no scene cleanup besides arresting. I'm sure ped interaction will come later with detaining and such but Ambulance/Coroner, tow trucks and stuff like that aren't in yet (again, first release I understand that.) but yeah i'd like to be able to stay and cleanup scenes, most of the stuff I just mentioned was done with mods in GTAIV (with Policehelper mostly, which no longer exists and won't be on GTAV by the same dev.) There seems to only be pursuit callouts at the moment, I'd love to see actual policing callouts such as person brandishing a weapon/suspicious person or suspect fleeing on foot, etc. hopefully some callouts from LCPDFR are ported over. Also an option to disable callouts would be nice, as an ingame feature. I also hate ambient events/callouts in my own opinion, and I normally turn those off in LCPDFR, an option for that would be awesome too! backup seems a bit buggy, if theres two suspects they only respond to one, and sometimes one of them spawns in the middle of the road while one is in a car. You don't spawn with a taser oddly, and if its added it should be modified to not instantly kill the suspect. Traffic stops seem to bug on me as well as sometimes the blip will hit the wrong car, or somebody who is speeding will not stop after being marked (Fleeing maybe? Used to LCPDFR's ALT+E to call in pursuits. I assume its automatic here.) and I guess just the obvious features, like with traffic stops (ID/Person checking, Computer, more options, etc.) will be added eventually. i'll be looking forward to every update for this mod. Good job to the dev team On a side note, I enjoy the goofy humor (like the goddamn jet ) and the pursuit involving Trevor but I really hope to see this mod be turned into a proper policing mod with full on features like with GTAIV instead of more focused on the "action" side of law enforcement, with shootouts and chases.

Major texture issues...
I've since stopped playing LCPDFR in anticipation of LSPDFR's release. I play it from time to time and the performance is playable only at night (with 50-70fps). so I just do night patrols sometimes, i'll see how well GTAV runs without the beta drivers which i can't get anymore (thanks AMD). I wish I could uninstall the ENB. but its too late now, should of backed up =/

The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
I really hope they expanded what you can do to a cuffed individual, instead of uncuffing and doing everything then recuffing them.

The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
I think (Besides the coffee obviously) that the animations shown were amazing. Arresting people on the ground, something that was impossible in GTAIV, walking with their gun on their holster, and all while apparently guessing animation names (OpenIV had and still has limited file support.). The pursuits look great as well, no more car crash mess hopefully. I'd love to see roadblocks and such. I think what really got me was the goddamn jet

The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
Amazing! I was hoping for a more "In-depth" thing like with lcpdfr 1.0, but hell I'm not complaining. Theres so many noticeable new features in just one video, pretty amazing work!

LSPDFR Announcement + Preview
I really hope a lot of future updates at-least have more callouts to be added. They really did a nice job with the whole API thing last time but barely anyone made callouts at all. Being limited to 4 or 5 of them is pretty boring, and shifts can get repetitive. I'd be amazed at a bank robbery callout :)

Community Team and Staffing Announcement (22 May, 2015)
Nobody said anything about stopping the development of lspdfr, simply users are wondering if any future updates will be a thing (after the release of LSPDFR.). For one, it was never said by the Sam or LMS that they were going to cease doing anything with LCPDFR, it's very slim and they said they doubt it but that doesn't mean it's a 100% no. There's just some people that enjoy GTAIV and LCPDFR due to the difference between IV and V. Just because you have the newest game doesn't mean the last one should be left in the dust, by all means keep developing LSPDFR and GTAV's engine but some people are just suggesting that smaller updates still be applied to the ones who still enjoy LCPDFR, such as bug fixes or small new features. I don't see why so many people are suddenly hating on IV ever since GTAV came out, obviously it was never a problem before. A lot of people joined this community with tons of passion for LCPDFR and how great it was developed for GTAIV, but now that V is out people seem to just ditch IV and jump straight onto the next mod which in some people's eyes isn't as great or fun as iv. lspdfr may not be out yet but many people including myself dislike GTAV overall, I'm sure the mod will come out amazingly but the game its running on isnt so great.

Why do people diss IV since V
Very true. It just seems like a lot of people started disliking GTAIV once GTAV came out, and not even in comparison but just straight up thinking GTAIV was never good. There would be no LSPDFR without LCPDFR. I'm gonna find it hard to get used to GTAV's new mechanics along with LSPDFR. It's too bad IV was so bad for modding, but even in its state people found a way to make it really enjoyable with the tons of mods, and still be stable enough to play. I'm sure the same thing will happen so on and so forth though, when GTA VI comes out and we'll be comparing all the bad things GTAV had to GTAVI. I'm sure IV will be long forgotten by then. All good things must come to an end, sadly.

20 May - 9 New Screenshots!
Question for Sam/LMS, how much better is the AI in your opinion? I notice the drivers tend to go crazy at the sound of a gunshot and instantly run you over or drive into stuff, but that's normal I guess. Also is there any chance of the police checkpoints/roadblocks making it over to LSPDFR? I also hope you can frisk people while cuffed now , and maybe a bit more depth into searching and looking up suspects.
