  1. I know, I'd like to remap some of the cars too. I think you need zModeler to remap the lighting..not sure how though. Maybe there is a youtube showing how this is done...will check. Even some nice non-ELS cars have very poorly mapped lighting; whereas the lights will flash from the truck or in the middle of the roof (or worse), instead of flashing in the light bar. Strange to me how someone will take the time to convert a car to non-else, then not bother checking the light placement. Head scratcher there. DrDetroit
  2. Looks like at 0:23 the perp got the cops gun whom was straddling the perp at that time. Then that cop get's up as the others started shooting. You can see at roughly 0:19 and 0:21 the guy actually tugging on the stock (grip) of the weapon. Hard to tell but looks justified to me. If someone grabs the cops gun and takes control of it, game over. I guess we'll find out eventually. Tough job! DrDetroit
  3. Let's not forget this includes "net neutrality" regulations. Something the commies in Washington have been after for years. This is the big picture and total control over what Big Brother considers "proper and acceptable" speech. Let's also not also forget that the BATF are going to make 5.56 ammunition illegal next month. We have another 1.5 years of this guy Barry "Benito" Sotoro (aka Barrack Hussein Obama) folks...he ain't done by a long shot yet. The Imperial President! Gotta love this guy.
  4. You could try checking GTA4-mods.com. I wouldn't be surprised if someone made a mod like that over there. Good luck! DrDetroit
  5. 78-hour in Vegas. The only reason I went to bed is due to a tremendous headache due to sleep deprivation.
  6. A good rule of thumb for sure. It's not OK or cool to hit or kick the crap out of someone most of the time.
  7. I grew up learning that it's never ever ok to hit or stirke a woman ever - no caveats. Sure there may be extreme instances...you know, movie shit like Kill Bill or something. But as a rule of thumb, no...never.
  8. I did the same thing with CCleaner. Had to reinstall Windows. Sucked, but had most of my files backed up luckily. I tried to restore via windows and CClearner, no joy! Good luck! DrDetroit
  9. Hard for me to tell, I'm no expert, but looks like Scripthook is causing issue...then towards the bottom, looks like something with Advanced Hook too...maybe because of Scripthook error. 1) Make sure you only have xLive or Dsound installed, not both. 2) I would use the manual installer and extract the whole thing to the GTAIV folder, and overwrite. Again, only using either Dsound or Xlive...not both. That's my $0.02 worth PS: Don't know a lick of German, and not sure that google translate is any good...it doesn't translate to English for sh*t, I know that much. Good luck! DrDetroit
  10. You could also play other games with that $500 PC. You'll probably find it a far more enjoyable experience, way better graphics and game play than you'll find on a console. I know I do. The mods alone are worth the price of admission. Good luck! DrDetroit
  11. You should probably copy/paste your crash logs. Many things could cause this to happen. But to answer your question; no, both my LCPDFR versions are stable (I run GTAIV and EFLC versions)...one much more stable than the other. Do you have ELS, modded cars, other 3rd party scripts running? This is usually the issue. I almost never crash with my GTAIV game, which has no ELS, and non-els modded cars I know aren't porked or unstable. I run several callout scripts and modded peds as well, a nice CryENB, again with mods I know are stable. My EFLC is another story. It doesn't crash, per se, but the plugins start shutting down after anywhere between 45min to 2 hours...just depends. This game I run all the latest goodies...ELSv8, high-poly cars in all slots, ENB, high-poly peds...not just cop peds, hi res buildings and streets. etc. This version of the game I know is going to be a bit unstable, but not so much that it's an issue to play. Anyhow, the more details you provide the better. I'd start with a vanilla LCPDFR and go from there. Good luck! DrDetroit

This is another explorer that I've been working on for a while. I honestly don't know if you like the ions size in the rear because some people say they are good but some say they are too big. So I just left it the way it was. Please Enjoy and Don't upload anywhere else!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PE1pjCBmhN0&index=23&list=WL
  12. So, my first 3DSmax model, which is that of a F16A. It's still low poly, only maybe 65% done, but figured I'd see what you guys think of it so far? Basically the fuselage is extruded from a single cylinder...wings too. Good day! DrDetroit
  13. Looks like good work! Looking forward to the releases. Thanks for posting.
  14. Change up cars, add ELS, try different mods - ped mods, callouts, cop peds, etc. Changing things up adds a different flavor and polish, and freshens up the game a bit, in my opinion. There are a few newer callouts you can try out, if you haven't already. That should keep you busy for awhile. EDIT: To mix things up sometimes, I'll added the hitman mod, where I can go to a public phone and pickup some work. So I use that mod during my patrols sometimes...you know...arrest the target, drive him to a desolate area and dispose of the target and get paid. There is Big City Life mod, where you can like live, work (as a cop) and play...adds a different level of game play. Good luck! DrDetroit
  15. Like you stated, you can point the firearm at the vehicle occupant, get them out of the car. Then walk up to the ped and check his/her ID while on foot - aim and press/hold E. You don't have to get in your car and pull them over to do so. Good luck! DrDetroit
  16. NASCAR is OK, Indy is OK too...but I really enjoy F1 racing. A lot of politics it would seem, but some damn fine racing is done in F1 with some serious car handling skills going on. I really got into F1 when I picked up F1-2013 and 2014 on the PS3, a great racing sim as well! I need to get it on my PC, with a Fanatec wheel and pedals...oh my! Good day! DrDetroit
  17. Yup, sometimes the ambulance stops for me, sometimes just keeps on driving...maybe 50/50. I know it's going to be screwy if no blip appears, but I can hear the ambulance heading to the scene. I usually use Abraxa's ambulance in the Police Helper mod though...that's bug free as far as dead body removals. Other than that ambulance, a fairly tiny issue, everything else seems to work just fine, now that the ambulance bug has been repaired. Thanks for the good work LukeD, much appreciated. Good day, DrDetroit
  18. Happy Birthday! Make it a great day! DrDetroit
  19. Yes, I believe it's the RAM and CPU/GPU processing power (lack thereof) that's the issue, not LCPDFR. I use to get that error a lot on my laptop, but once I upgraded to a new blown out desktop rig with a phat GPU and CPU, I don't get that message very often at all...almost never. Anyhow, you can try to mitigate that issue by running vanilla LCPDFR, with little to no scripts and no mods. That or upgrade RAM, or GPU, or both...if you can. Good luck! DrDetroit
  20. Watch out Vic...they know where you live, work and play!! HAA HAAH AA
  21. Remy Martin Louis XIII. I could drink gallons of it...probably have.
  22. Be careful, you might end up with a couple MIB knocking at your front door. Good day! DrDetroit
