  1. Please, for everyone's sanity here, never mention that name ever again.
  2. Tut tut... Sleep is for the weak, and those who aren't being constantly pestered by a large internet crowd to get something done! :P But no seriously Sam you're doing great with LSPDFR, you deserve rest :)
  3. That would have been me! Of course, a little whipping never harmed anyone ;)
  4. shakes violently with bloodshot eyes I need my LSPDFR fix, maaan! :P
  5. "This is the LSPD! Retract your claws and put your paws in the air! Don't move!"

  8. Yet another suggestion. I've probably made my fair share, or more of, suggestions, but here's another one that I want to quickly explain before I forget about it. Might the police van model be usable as a proper suspect transport? Some suspects can be aggressive, and you definitely don't want them in the back of your patrol car in that case. Therefore, might calling for suspect transport on arrest (if that's how LSPDFR will work) be able to send in a van instead, the officers get out, open the back doors of the van and get the suspect in the back? In fact, I think the back doors of the police van open, because it's the same model (technically) as another van that has opening doors in a mission. Edit: In fact, it's even called "Police Transporter": http://gta.wikia.com/Police_Transporter
  9. Geez, that's the most dangerous chase (where it's the officer's fault) that I've ever seen.
  10. That doesn't really sound useful for LSPDFR itself. Maybe another mod could do what you suggest instead, a sort of "more cinematic camera views" mod?
  11. And considering this is V, not IV, do you think that weird emergency lighting bug that occurs when you switch on the lights and not the siren is fixed/doesn't occur?
  12. You're right, what was I thinking? :P
  13. Well that's excellent news. For it being so stable, we're not going to whip you for being here and not slaving away all hours on the code!
  14. What are you doing here again Sam?! Get back to work! Don't make me get the whip...
  15. I'm so excited. This already looks like it's going to be so, so much better than LCPDFR. But no offence LCPDFR, you were still amazing too <3
  16. Warning: This is yet another suggestion (or question, if you will). I just forgot to group it with the last one I sent. Considering tow trucks are in GTA V by default, does that mean we'll be able to tow away illegally parked vehicles/the vehicles of suspects we've arrested? Sure, vehicles disappear in the game for technical reasons, but I think it would add to the immersion factor to be able to call in a tow truck instead.
  17. Great, maybe that's the best way to implement it, so that players have a choice of being a "realistic" police officer, or just an asshole who yells at everyone :P
  18. That sounds like a good idea, but does right shift actually count as its own key?
  19. That's what I was thinking, yes, by splitting the voice files into passive and aggressive folders so that the mod knows which one to use in whichever situation.
  20. I see, thanks for clarifying.
  21. I live in the UK, and it's the same here, but apparently they do it differently in America. Another reason, for the mod at least, would be that pressing shift to pull them over and nothing happening (because that's not the siren button) and yet they pull over or having to switch the lights on to move people out of the way and it pulling everyone over in front of you even though you didn't want that could be annoying.
  22. Yeah, that's another one that would work passively. Wonder how this could be implemented, though? Maybe there could be a file structure for voice files splitting them into what context they are, which (police) ped model they're for, which gender, and whether they're passive or aggressive lines?
  23. Within the first minute of this video, there's a fairly non-aggressive "Driver! Stop your vehicle!". That could work as a more passive one. Looking through it for more like that.
  24. I know a lot of things have already been suggested in this thread, but I'd like to add another suggestion to that growing list. Hopefully it'd be easy to implement. My idea is to split police audio into two categories - "aggressive" and "passive". What I mean by that is, for instance, when first pulling someone over, over the loudspeaker instead of yelling "PULL THE F*CK OVER!" instead a more calm audio file is selected. I feel like it breaks immersion a little when they suddenly yell at a driver when attempting to pull them over because one of their tail lights isn't working. As I said, hopefully this wouldn't be too hard to do.
  25. Maybe the actually wanted character could be more aggressive, firing on you/your vehicle on sight? It might be a little annoying though to be patrolling and suddenly a random civilian with an assault rifle opens up on you...
