There is no support for .95RC1. Alt+f11 forces callouts to happen. Your only way to hopefully lower your % that don't work. Some people have more issues than others. I can run .95 for hours with no issues sometimes. Other times its glitchy. Anyway, just use alt+f11 for now until we have a full complete .95 with support.

Thank You, I only purchased this PC version for LCPDFR. If LCPDFR was a retail game....they would be rich. Look at red orchestra...they started as a mod team too. I'll beat some missions.

Only reason I asked was to see if I could get a third style police car to randomly spawn and patrol the city. It appears from the posts it isn't as easy as I thought it may be.

So I play GTA 4 with ELS v6 and LCPDFR. I am trying to use my cellphone to enter in a cell # cheat for weapons. When I hit the up arrow I only get multiplayer and videorecorder options. How do I dial a #?

I don't know what happened earlier but I tried to launch my game twice and right when it was beginning to load my save the game crashed. I recently added in a new charger so I changed all my police vehicles to the default ones or so I thought. When I launched my game the third time to see if it would work with the old cars I was suprised to find that all the cars were my modded ones. IDK WTF I DID. Scared myself lol. Guess no harm no foul eh? Game plays just fine as it did before I experienced crashes...idk what I did but who cares because its working perfectly. Thanks for all the help with cars guys.

Why would you want to use both? One thing I hate about traffic flow is there is only 20 vehicles and gta has many more than that...

I found two excellent crown vics for police 1 and 2. Now I am looking for a cool undercover car for the fbi. I tried a black unmarked crownvic but didn't like it too much. Trying to find a charger or something else. Any suggestions for ones you may use? I have been searching on the gtapolicemods site.

So I've been playing LCPDFR .95 with ELS v6 and modded all my cars to custom ones. While searching for cars on the policemods site I found a car that said "Adds a third car to LCPD" and it was named police3. My question would be if I wanted to add another standard police car that would patrol the streets could I just make the file police3 and the game will recognize it? Or is that something that wouldn't work as easy as it sounds. Thanks in advance,

When you use a custom skin for a car does that include the ELS light setup or just strictly the paintjob on the car?

Happens to me too ocasionally. Just installed .95 today. Played for 5 hours and had 2 fatal errors when I started chasing someone. Doesn't happen all the time but since this isn't a final version and no support is given on .95 I cannot complain. Great mod.

Hey man just download the links. .NET and C++ located in the READ THIS FIRST thread. Trust me, you will jump for joy. I thought I had it installed and I didn't. Downloaded and installed the .Net and C++ and it works like a charm.

Cool, exactly what I want to know. I am running els v6 and .91 and thought about upgrading to see how .95 works for me but wanted to know how to downgrade. Should be a sticky topic for dummies like us :D

Fixed .NEt and C++ were not installed properly. I reinstalled them and now mod works.

I reinstalled the .NET FRAMEWORK 4.0 from the link provided on this support page. Game crashed shortly after loggin into my live name. Didn't even attempt to load the game. So i traded Dsound for xliveless and started up the game. It didn't ask me to sign into windows live and I was able to see the loading screen pictures (before it was just black screen with music). The part where it shows the random drawings while playing music waiting to load. Then it went to starting a new game black screen. Stayed there for 2 minutes with nothing happening. I CTRL ALT DEL to quit game. This is really confusing for me. Edit: So I tried Dsound again and it crashes just as I described before. I just want to enjoy this game and be happy like the rest of the LCPDFR community. Yes I am running as administrator, yes I have put files in right locations...I don't know what else to do. Hello Everyone, I have installed GTA 4 and LCPDFR .91. GTA 4 works perfectly without LCPDFR. I have completed the READ HERE FIRST LIST. I started the game "as an admin" and it loaded all the way where I was in the game. I hit alt+p and my game crashed. I started the game "as an admin" again and it started to load my save when the game crashed. I repeated the second line and it crashed upon loading my save. *Below is my most recent Diagnostic run. Please help me if you can. My next step is to try xlive instead of dsound. Running as adminstrator and trying xlive where the two biggest similiarities I found in all previous posts with issues. Set up a LCPDFR paypal account where people could donate. If I were developers and knew the community wanted to donate to help further help us I would have done so already. Heck, I'd give $$$ too. Once I get this to work.

Ok. So here is the deal. A freshly installed version of GTA 4 with the latest patch works 100% flawlessly on my computer. Once I download and install .91 it won't boot up my game anymore. So, i am not sure what to do if the Diagnostics show that it should work and it is not. Should I try .95? I thought I should do .91 because it isn't in the beta stages.

So you're getting a lot of those errors. How do I fix it or get my game to work. While I was waiting for a reply I uninstalled everything I had game and the lcpdfr mod. I re-installed everything and was able to play the first beginning mission (of the GTA 4 story *NO MODS INSTALLED) and save it. I tried to play .91 of the mod and my game won't launch. I followed all the steps again to ensure it is correct. I get an error regarding the Dsound file or whatever not being able to access something. I was using my uncle's computer and he came home so I cannot try any longer. I spent 5 hours trying to get this to work. Between installing, re-installing, researching issues, ect. Extremely disappointed. Would love to play this mod with custom cars and the ELS mod but I cannot get even the mod without extra mods to work. Really would love to play this. Just need some help. Many people are able to play it so why can't I?
