All i can say is make sure that you follow the READ HERE FIRST guidelines to the letter. Re-install stuff if you need too. If you re-install everything and it doesn't work then something is FUBAR but it should work. I know I was posting my diag here and everything looked okay but I re-installed C++ and .NET (links in READ HERE FIRST) and it worked just great. I can run LCPDFR .95RC1 with ELSv6 no problems. I hear others have issues. Good Luck

From what it sounds like you modded the cars you wanted but left in some other cars. Police Police2 ect are the cars that will spawn and patrol the city. With standard GTA you only have police and police2. With EFLC I believe you have police3 and more.

GIMP is by far one of the best free programs available. I would stand by it just as much as photoshop or any other PAID program. I use it for creating skins, web design, custom graphic work, ect. LOVE GIMP

I honestly cannot see why anyone would want to go non els....yeah it can have its drawbacks but ELSv6 works flawlessly for me besides the obvious door glitch and incvincible car.

police and police 2 are just names of the cop cars. polpatriot is the name of the NOOSE hummer. Don't worry, do yourself a favor and look some youtube videos up.

.95 has that feature and there is not support. I like the fact that sometimes the guy in green will shoot anyone nearby and steal a car. Makes it interesting so you have to take down both suspects before they hurt or harm anyone. Always another reason why citizens of LC chose a bad city/state. You could imagine if it was a city based in Arizona? Where all citizens can be armed concealed or openly??? Bad Guys would look like swiss cheese.

Lol i think it is because what the character does and what is in the computer are both random. So sometimes you get a guy with no citations and a good record..walk up his window to give him a warning and he pulls a gun or speeds off :P LCPDFR is still by far the most amazing mod ever.

I'll keep it in mind. I'll try to see what it looks like in game first. I borrow a computer to play this game so I get to play when the person who owns it is not on. ;)

The best game in the world for the little things that GTA is missing is MAFIA 2. It had the best vehicle damage feature. A vehicle didn't just explode. It would slowly burn peeling the paint away until it was a burnt husk. Also when you stopped at a red light your breaks went on an AI didn't hit you. Also there was a speed limit, cops would pull you over, you could bribe them, receive tickets, ect. I am glad my car doesn't take damage. Otherwise in a big shootout it would explode as if it were a bomb.

Hello, So I have been playing LCPDFR .95 (yes I know no support) with ELS v6 and traffic flow. Recently I tried adding in ALM and it didn't work. I found out I forgot to add +livery to each car I wanted in the vehicles.ide file. However I did that, made sure the files were in the scripts folder, and launched the game. There were no vehicles on the streets at all. Nothing parked or driving. I went to the police station and it won't even go to vehicle selection. I've tried reverting back to default vehicle.ide and removed the ALM files and it still shows no vehicles on the street. The only other thing that I've done since I lasted played was create custom skins and follow the procedure to add them with sparkiv to the letter. So, in the meantime while I wait for someone smart to reply I am goin to try and remove my custom skins I made and check again if it will work. Thanks in advance, HolyOrangeJuice

Didn't do that. Must have missed that somewhere in the readme. Thank you. Anyway, I'll be designing more skins. Hopefully by monday we will have some good stuff for the ALM mod. I am hoping to have 4 crown vic skins and 4 charger skins. I try to keep them simple but "cool". Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, I'm not a real fan of the NYPD skins and there are so many people who already created real department skins I wanted to stick with some fictional LCPD stuff. Here is a Bohan skin. You could help out by trying to help me get ALM to work. I have the two files in the scripts folder, the ini file edited the way I need it to, yet all cars still only use the first defualt livery. Just make sure you follow the "READ THIS FIRST" thread to the letter. After doing that make sure you right click as tom said and run as administrator. If you think you already have everything completed DO IT AGAIN! You never know if something was messed up or not. When I first started out I thought I had everything okay but I was getting errors. I did everything the thread said and whaddaya know it worked ;) Good Luck. BTW, there is no support for .95 so if you have issues you have to deal with them or downgrade .91 Some common issues with .95 is callouts stop working (alt+f11) to force them and often times game crashes during pursuit. Also don't call for noose support because its 50/50 chance it will crash the game. Normal backup works great. Anyway, once again good luck.

I personally don't find the door glitching or the invincible cars annoying. To have realistic lights (ELS) + LCPDFR is way better than anything else in my opinion.

Hello Everyone, I plan to create some custom skins for use with the area livery mod. The skins will have LCPD markings with different skins for each livery area. Alderney Algonquin Bohan Dukes & Broker I am looking for ideas and color schemes for what I should design these cars around. I want them to be somewhat matching. I'm not going to mix in blue vehicles with black and white ones. I will be designing the skins for a crown vic and a charger. I am trying to figure out whether they should be local police, sheriff, state patrol, mixture, ect. Let me hear your thoughts. I will most likely start work this weekend. Pictures to help show me what your thinking will help. I'm sure many people will want these skins.
