Bring pool game back? As in like, the game you play with a cue?

So not only can you accidentally call in far too much backup, But it is glorious.
Well that's because you uploaded the video into the category "Education" rather than "Gaming". What was it you were saying about being mentally challenged? :P Additionally, some recommended videos are displayed as a result of video tags. This is a common thing for people to "view whore" off popular youtuber's by adding their name into the video tags. Nonetheless, hilarious video. The music couldn't be more fitting, I giggled my ass off when the guy gets arrested by swat only to full on punch him in the face (hence why he gets blasted at the end).

[WIP] More Control V - Extending Your Control Over GTA V
Welcome indeed :D As the title and mini description suggests it wont just be about vehicles. Although the majority of it is vehicle oriented at the moment. Perhaps now is a good time to explain my inspiration for this project. It began initially with the fast exit feature, I was sick of having to get out and close the door when getting shot at by 2 or 3 guys in a van. Only for them to take off the second my door closed, so I would then have to get back in and wait for the engine to start before I could give chase. After that, I started exploring other ideas, messing with different things. And then after complete annoyance at having my police car stolen from right under my nose every time I got out of it, I implemented the vehicle locks. As time progresses I will add as many different features as I can, both active interactions and ambient changes (like the brake lights coming on when stationary).

[WIP] More Control V - Extending Your Control Over GTA V
Hi all, today I'd like to announce the mod I've been working on over the past few days. More Control V is a plugin that opens up control of some of the finer details in GTA V, giving you a better playing experience. The plugin aims to make subtle changes to the base game's functionality, from the simple control to the ambient extras. Every aspect of the plugin will be customizeable via a configuration file, don't like a particular feature? Switch it off! No more accepting your fate with on-by-default features that you can't change or adapt to your own liking. Play the game the way you want to play it. Features Currently the mod is in early development, with only a few features. However below are the features that are in the plugin already along with some planned ideas. • Vehicle Fast Exit is an ability that allows the player to exit the vehicle with relative speed. In a shootout with gang members or cops? Double tap F and you will exit your vehicle and leave the door wide open. Talk about making quick cover for yourself? But that's not all, exiting the vehicle like this will also leave the engine running, for if the situation gets tricky and you need a swift exit. Simply dive right back in and speed off. • Full Vehicle Lock Control is something we need. GTA V carjackings are common and widespread, be sure your car will be there for you when you get back by locking it. But it doesn't stop there, we're not set in the stone ages, and lots of modern cars come with automatic locking doors. Get above 20mph and the doors will lock themselves, keeping you safe inside! But don't worry, you won't be locked out if you fast exit, this will unlock the vehicle by default so you can still make a quick and safe getaway. • Automatic Brake Lights are an ambient feature. Sat at a set of traffic lights or simply just sitting stationary, the brake lights will automatically come on and stay on until you start moving again. • Seatbelts are a vital part to every car, they prevent you from being turned into soup at 100mph. So it is a necessary part of the mod. Seatbelts will be applied automatically when you enter a car (don't expect to have your life saved on a motorbike though). • Indicators! Bit**! A common phrase I find myself shouting IRL. Well to avoid having the residents of Los Santos shouting it at you, fully functional indicators are now included in the mod, just don't forget Mirror, Signal, THEN maneuver. The list is not exhaustive, as time goes by more features will be added to this plugin to give you more control. If you have ideas, feel free to post them below and I'll have a read of them. Your Ideas Below is a list of ideas that I have read, be sure to check through this list before submitting more ideas! • Seatbelts • Full light control (indicators, hazard lights etc) • Trunk storage for ammo, guns, snacks etc • Ability to surrender to police manually • Cruise Control • Ability to roll down/up windows • IV Style Engine control • Prevent steering auto adjusting on vehicle exit • Ability to flash high beams Known Bugs and FAQ's 0.4.4a • Controller support when a controller is not plugged in potentially causes FPS loss, unconfirmed. Del Perro - Police station
As you say, I think it was omitted due to the fact it is not really a police station but more like waiting place for police to be situated at. Sort of similar to those blue police boxes you found around Liberty city in GTA IV.

LSPDFR Feature Preview
I've tried on both Chrome and Firefox, both signed in and signed out and I still don't see any form of countdown timer? Chrome top, Firefox bottom.

I feel REAAAAAAL sorry for your wife right now.

You should take a minute to calm down, sir. Laughing uncontrollably leads to derangement. You'll be seeing "countdowns" before you know it. "Done" would imply that it was released, with no issues and all of the content finished. The development would stop if it was "done". Instead, it's more....hmmm...approaching public testing? Yes. That.

I understand your logic, however this is a community with a common interest. As such we like to play around at many things, it's part of the fun of this community. If you wanted mindless information with no fun interaction with the community team, you'd be looking towards the R* forums. Which are about as bland as bland can get. Welcome to the community, join in the fun. You'll be thankful later. :)

Don't play online with mods. Simple. The RagePlugin Hook has a counter-measure to stop the game launching if it's able to connect to the internet I believe. So simply block GTA V from going online via the firewall and voila, you can play mods to your heart's content. When you wish to play online, simply disable the firewall rule for GTA V and load GTA V without the RageHook :)

Guys you're all crazy. There is no countdown, only a notice about a maintenance alert. See: And besides, why the hell would we have a countdown? That would imply we have a release date. Which is just absurd. It's done when it's done remember?

LSPDFR Feature Preview
Generally speaking if R* releases a new patch, then the RagePlugin hook and the ScriptHookV will both need to be updated to hook into the latest patch in order for them to be loaded and subsequently, load any mods. This will probably occur every time R* makes any kind of patch for the game. So yes, if R* releases a new patch for GTA V it will likely stop your mods from working (it wont break them, it will just prevent them from loading).

Ill-Gotten Gains Update and Modding
They just released an update that benefits ~52 million people and yet here you are STILL insisting they don't care about what the gamers want? Can I ask, have you actually gone and looked and READ every line in the latest changelog to see how much they have just done to make your gaming experience better? If they didn't care as much as you insist, they would have released the game and gone "right that's it, lol thanks for the money" Instead you get free DLC that most other developers charge you for, you get lots of problems that are fixed and yet they still don't care?
-
Ill-Gotten Gains Update and Modding
Screwed over thousands, benefited how ever many copies of GTA V PC were sold, 52 million copies across all platforms (which is everyone affected by this update). I'm no degree level mathematician, but I can tell you "thousands" is less than millions. I think therefore they have a VERY good reason to release updates for single player and online, regardless of what you think..

Ill-Gotten Gains Update and Modding
Oh no, like every other massive corporation out there you mean?

Ill-Gotten Gains Update and Modding
I'm gonna be that guy that says you all need to calm down a lot. Not just a little bit. A lot. As Sniper said, that changelog isn't just a case of "oh we added new stuff to online and decided to secretly break everything for fun". Secondly, not a single one of you works for Rockstar I suspect. Not a single one of you knows for a fact what was said to the R* development team and consequently not a single one of you can hand on heart say "they did this just to piss us all off". There could be a very good reason why they chose to do what they did, there could be alternate motives that are good or bad you simply don't know. So does Spotify so that only Spotify can play their offline files, but nobody complains that Spotify is encrypting their audio? My point being again, don't over speculate on the things they have done. There could/could not be a valid reason for doing this, but we don't know either way. All you lot are doing right now is stirring up a shitstorm and pissing yourselves and each other off by complaining about things. Relax, they haven't taken anything from you. Mods will be back. In the words of one of my favourite films ever "life finds a way" (replace life with mods)

Yoink! Got your trailer!

Banned for using mods!
As far as we know Rockstar validates game files when you launch the multiplayer, and thus anyone running modded files get's flagged at this point. At everyone else, let's not start an argument about the actions of particular users. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and their choices. If you want to discuss the ethics of modding online that's fine, but don't call each other out on it.

Banned for using mods!
They may have done, or Lund has been fortunate enough to not get flagged by the automatic system yet. I believe Rockstar uses a similar technique to the VAC system used by Steam. That being that a ban is not immediate, and the first instance of cheating that get's flagged by the detection system causes an account monitor to initiate. You can be caught cheating and 2 months later receive a ban for the first instance of cheating, despite spending an entire 2 months doing it. This is speculation by the way, I just happen to know they don't ban upon detection which would lead me to believe they monitor instead (or have a massive backlog of shit for their admins to go through). My advice, if you value your online account don't even consider loading mods online. If you couldn't care less about your account, then don't bother going online at all, you obviously don't enjoy the online if you're willing to throw your account away by cheating so stay offline and don't ruin it for the rest of us :)

The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
Well I myself have never been into modifying the map. I quite like the default map. But I can see why people would enjoy it. Fortunately with GTA V we have enough of a map to keep us occupied until someone finds a way to create map mods with ease.

The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
This is correct, they are (or rather should be) accessible to anyone willing to write code to access them. Nothing online is "exclusive" to online, if this was the case you wouldn't be able to spawn any of the online DLC cars in single player using a trainer. I suspect textures and objects (the doors will be rendered objects so that they move) should be relatively in the same boat with regards to availability. However I haven't had a lot of time to delve into coding for GTA V and as such I can only speak from speculation of what I've seen from mods.

The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2
Programmers/coders don't require sleep. We operate on a process I like to call Foodcodesynthesis. The process involves turning mountain dew, coffee and doritos directly into code.

Trailer Is Live Well that trailer was a massive disappointment.

Fallout 4 Teaser
Apparently someone at bethesda accidently published fallout4.com. However within minutes of it going live it got taken down again. I'm with ineseri here in that it could be absolutely anything, I'll wait for the countdown clock and more importantly I'll wait for E3.
