First way is probably the simplest, just having a donate button. Hate the second way, that's a no. Prompting users to pay (even if they can enter $0 and get it free) is going to make a lot of people go "nope, I'm not paying for this" 3rd option I like, but instead change the wording to "donate" and "continue to download" and have it as a sort of processing screen where "the mod is processing for download, would you like to donate or skip to the download?" Another alternative which I like is the beerware license. Instead of a donate button have a "Buy me a coffee" or "Buy me a beer" button including little coffee mug/beer bottle icons which brings up a donate form pre-filled in with a specific amount (example $5) which would buy you a beer or a coffee. Then you can enter a custom amount if you want or just go with the pre-filled amount. I'm aware this is just a glorified donate button but it looks nicer and has a nice incentive.

The file size drops drastically because I reduce the level of security for my obfuscation. This was done after many people reporting that my mod was a virus. It isn't a virus, this was simply virus scans reporting the high protection as a potential problem. The lowered version is still obfuscated but will no longer report as a virus due to the relaxed protection methods.

Yes this was a minor oversight on my behalf, it should have been fixed in 0.5a but if it isn't I'll take another look at it. As I mentioned to break I have added this in ready for the next release. The reason you can't get onto your bike when it's locked is because secretly your bike is a transformer and it doesn't like being sat in when locked. You'll offend it by trying. :)

I'm trying to find ways to block key and button presses going through to the game however I have yet to find any plausible option for this. Yes I can, keyless entry will be a thing in the next release (I didn't think it was possible and I proved myself wrong) Although to be honest. I forget to unlock my car IRL a lot of the time. And then I find myself spamming the buttons, so technically it's realistic LOL.

I only just realised, an hour after updating the download page. That I forgot to actually add the new files to the download. Such a moron. On the plus side I did make a tiny spelling error with the config file so it was broken anyway. Fixed and finally uploaded!

There is currently no feature that allows you to put a hat on during gameplay, if you wish to have a hat on your officer the only way to do it is to toggle the officer extras in the police station selection menus. Eventually you will get a hat. Alternatively you may be able to spawn a hat for your player if you are able to use the native trainer by sjaak.

As explained several times: LSPDFR and RagePluginHook will likely never support cracked copies of the game. Both are developed using legitimately purchased copies of the game and will only ever support legitimately purchased copies of the game. Please stop asking if LSPDFR will support cracked copies.

Indicators already switch off automatically after you turn a corner. (it takes a second or 2). As for the other suggestions, I'll add them to my list and experiment with these ideas. Thanks :)

Also be sure that the following is true for the files in question: If both of these are true and you don't get notifications still then there may be an internal problem, either with the settings or more likely with IPB (which AFAIK is out of our hands).

@Estebanium As TheUniT has correctly said, there is nothing wrong with the file and this is simply your antivirus reporting a false positive. On a separate note, 0.4a has been released today featuring full controller support. I'm hoping to get the plugin verified as well for everyone's benefit, although I'm currently unaware of the process this takes so cannot say how long it will be.
