  1. Would it be allowed to use some of the ped/vehicle models on a FiveM server?
  2. I fixed it, it ended up being that it wasn't loading old ones or something, so I just reinstalled the new ones and it worked.
  3. Open up your update.rpf with OpenIV, hit edit, and it should tell you what you need to do.
  4. I'm assuming you use the OpenIV 'mods folder' feature. If so, open up your update.rpf in OpenIV and hit the 'edit' button and it should give you a prompt at the top to re-copy the new update.rpf. All you have to do to fix it it hit the button it prompts you to. That should fix the crashing problem, however, I can't get the new ScripthookV to load any of my ASIs...at least not the openiv.asi that allows the mods folder.
  5. In GTA as it is now, I would have to say no. The GTA mechanics and style wouldn't really be changed by kids, so why add them? I could somewhat see them in a game more like Red Dead Redemption where your character had morals and crimes carried over, so there were consequences for your actions in the long run; that being said, I will not be disappointed if children do not make an appearance in the next Red Dead. It might be cool if they were included in the GTA series in a limited style, similar to that of the Fallout series, but I do not think that children should just be roaming around the streets only to be run over. What I mean by this is characters in the story being children, mainly, your characters children. That would add an interesting spin on the story.
  6. If there's anyone who has a some-what negative view of the Detroit Police Department, I hope this video changes your mind. This awesome act happened yesterday. I have a feeling this has happened before, but I've never heard of it until now. http://www.myfoxdetroit.com/story/24598895/9-year-old-cancer-patient-named-detroit-police-chief-for-the-day
  7. If you want it as a backup for hunting, I would go with a larger caliber like a .45 or 10mm. I only stay 10mm because I have heard that it is one of the best calibers for a hunting backup (not really sure why) but the ammo can also be rather hard to find and somewhat expensive if you plan on shooting a lot. If you DO want a Glock, they have pretty much every caliber you would want available. I have a Glock myself, and I love it, and I have heard a lot of good things about Sig Sauers, but I've also heard they have a very strange trigger pull which some people like, some don't. I would recommend shooting some of each before you buy one. Overall, if your main purpose for it is a hunting backup, I would recommend a .45 1911, but it also depends on what you're hunting... You wouldn't want the same gun for hunting rabbits as you would for hunting bears. Also, you're not going to want a compact handgun like a Glock 19/23 for hunting... Check ammo supplies around you before you buy. Here in SE Michigan, you can't find anything other than .40 in stock anywhere without looking pretty damn hard.
  8. Auxiliary Police is totally different at every department. Some Auxs carry, some don't. The department east of mine, allows their auxiliaries to do very little, however the department to the north allows their Auxiliaries to do absolutely everything (Traffic stops, handle calls, and run code) Its a good way to get your foot in the door, although be wary of joining a department that lets you do a ton, because you generally don't receive enough training and when you screw up, they throw you under the bus, which basically ends any potential career you had in Law Enforcement. However this is in Michigan, its totally different everywhere like I said. at OPP they may be regulated more than they are in most places. If you want a good idea of what it would be like, ask a current OPP Aux. They should be willing to tell you everything you want to know, and if they don't, then you probably don't want to work there anyways.
  9. For some reason, I notice that if you play in a multiplayer lobby, you get a more diverse grouping of callouts without forcing them. Even if i'm playing alone in a multiplayer free mode, I get pursuit callouts quite often and less "disregard, situation is code 4"
  10. I know that for a while, I was getting the issue of the game crashing after I walked outside the safehouse, but it turned out to be that I had an outdated copy of vdH PoliceHelper; when I updated, it was all fixed. I would recommend making sure you have the lastest version if you have Police Helper.
  11. Damn these are amazing!
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=koAyLPUftHo I like this one better lol
  13. My solution to that was using an external program like xpadder that allows you to script buttons of the controller to be keys, so i just put LB as E,
  14. There was another game that was like this, except it was a rip off of the EMS portion of EM4, so it's very likely and i would agree.
  15. I think that Detroit would be cool, and very fitting with the amount of crime that happens... Boston would also be awesome, so would Chicago or basically any of the other big cities. I could see Chicago happening with its history of organized crime.
  16. I wouldn't recommend getting a police Charger. They're nice cars, but not when you're paying for the maintenance on it. I'm not sure what's with all the Trailblazers, but I drive one myself haha. I have a 2007 Trailblazer Supersport and I love it, except for the terrible gas mileage and the fact that it takes premium...
