Whats the longest you've put someone in jail for?
Murder related charges are the only crimes set to issue a life sentence, so anything from attempted murder to gross vehicular manslaughter. I think I charged a ped with several terrorism offenses before which stacked enough to lead to a life sentence. I don't know if LSPDFR+ has life sentences though?

Where is mod that removes black from lightbar
Using a trainer or editing the vehicle meta will usually resolve this issue.

Whats the longest you've put someone in jail for?
I've had arrested peds face life sentences before. Under a life sentence I think I had 75 years with no chance of parole.

Fake Traffic Stops Crash
It's the ones you can't see that always get me. Usually when you're responding to a callout. You rock up on scene and before you know it that mini-freeze happens and I'm like, "No, no noooooo!"

Can't perform traffic stops
I'm confused as to what the issue is here? Are you all having the same issue as the OP or what? It's easy to fix unless you each have different mitigating circumstances...

Fake Traffic Stops Crash
Tell me about it! I have an otherwise stable game and can play for hours. You're in the middle of doing something gripping when all of a sudden... "lspdfr has crashed" and an ambient spawn was the cause. So annoying lol

Fake Traffic Stops Crash
I also get occasional crashes from ambient spawns so you're not alone. Fear not for when researching it a while ago, I read a post that @LMS had commented on and confirmed that a 'workaround' was coming with 0.4.2.

Variety Callouts
The pack works well, it's just early days for the author. No reason not to download it - just treat it as a pursuit callout pack for now.

Newly Installed Cars Won't Be Spawn in the Game
Hi @Soley. What I found worked for me was to install most of my vehicles into \Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday20ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\ via OpenIV regardless of the instructions included in the readme. Not wanting to ask the obvious, but have you installed all files that comes with the vehicles? ELS (if applicable), any metas etc? If you have but they still aren't working, consider spawning them in-game with a trainer first to see if they're actually working. Let us know how you get on.

Can we set refresh rate on PC when we play in windowed mode?
What GPU are you running? NVIDIA control panel for example has settings that you can use to force RR. That or consider G-Sync?

GTA 5 seems to be coming to an end!
A mix between capable hardware and good in-game settings can alleviate the issue you're having with textures. It took me a while to find a good balance between performance and quality, but honestly, if you experiment around a bit, you'll find what works for you. As for hardware, my rig isn't running the very latest in technology but gets by just fine. Maybe you could have a look at what you're running and see what can be improved within your budget?

Variety Callouts
Thank you for taking my comment as was intended and not flying off the handle 🙂 You should be proud of what you've accomplished so far, especially if you've only been doing it for a week! Considering that there are no bugs or crashes that I could find, that in itself is also something to be proud of. The MVA I was talking about is from Common Callouts by CowNation. I'd encourage you to continue to develop this call as your skills allow because - as I previously mentioned - it would be a welcome addition. I don't think any of the other callout packs that I use have a working call like this so it would be great to see it improved. I've been talking to a few callout authors over the past few weeks and it seems adding ped interaction is quite difficult. I believe that what some of them are doing/planning to do to get around this is to incorporate on-screen dialogue without choices, i.e display a line of text at a time. While the player has no real choices, the immersion is better than what you currently have. Here's an example: Motor Vehicle Accident Call <Display Text On-screen as Player Responds> 1. Units responding we have a 911 call. 2. Two vehicle MVA. Injuries unknown. 3. Respond code three. <Player arrives on scene> Two vehicles are damaged. Two peds standing nearby. Player approaches one of them. Player: Okay sir, what seems to be the problem? Driver: That moron needs to learn to drive that's what! Player: Can you tell me what happened? Driver: They ran a red light and crashed right into me. Player: Okay, I'll talk to them. Do you need medical assistance? Driver: No, I'm fine, thank you. <Player approaches second ped> Player: Hello, are you okay? Driver: Do I look okay? Player: Please tell me what happened. Driver: My breaks locked up and I couldn't stop. Player: Do you require medical assistance? Driver: Yes, I think I hurt my neck. This simple example allows the player to learn what events led to the MVA, the cause, who is to blame and allows them to deal with the situation appropriately. Should I breathalyze one or both drivers? Do I suspect they are lying? The best part is it's providing variety and isn't another pursuit. Of course with other mods installed, one of the drivers may be DUID and take off when I question them but that's the beauty of variety. For other ideas, maybe take a look at what hasn't been done before or can be done in a different way: - Backlot City security need help with a trespasser refusing to leave the premises. Player responds. Locates security. Presented with a few lines of dialogue. Trespasser refuses to leave and is arrested. - A homeless person is harassing people on the beach. Player arrives and finds homeless person on beach. Informed by dispatch (using on-screen text) that the person has been begging. Player asks person to move on. They do. Simple, but different. Adds variety. - An animal is running around Little Portola scaring shoppers. Self explanatory. Aiming for further variety. - An overturned tanker on the freeway is blocking traffic. Completely different and I'd imagine not too hard to make considering you've done it for MVA. The player arrives somewhere on the freeway to find an upturned tanker blocking the road. The player can (using third party mods) shut down the road, establish a cordon around the area, call in EMS if required, get the truck moved, assess if arrests etc are required and then re-open the road. RP at it's finest! Anyway, just some food for thought. Keep doing what you're doing! I'll defiantly be keeping an eye on any improvements that you make. I'm keeping this in my game as is if only for the pursuits. Best of luck 👍

Variety Callouts
@Abel Software Firstly, let me thank you for creating a new callout pack. I've said it before and I'll say it again - callouts can be the life blood of LSPDFR so having a new one is great. I've tested it out in my game and found no bugs and had no crashes. That said, I do have a few thoughts. I'll also hold off on posting a review just yet as I don't want to put other people off of using your pack so early in its release. Okay, so of the seven calls available within Variety Callouts, all of them are pursuits! One of them appears to be copied directly from another callout pack and another one could do with some work. The pursuits themselves are generic, have no backstory and don't offer anything new over other callout packs. They even use the same vehicles. Now, I'm not saying that this is a bad thing - pursuits can be fun, but to call your pack a variety pack when all of your calls are just pursuits seems wrong. Given that I can already use all of these pursuits in other packs so far I'm not seeing a variety here. The mugging call started well. I was given a line of dialogue to read and a pursuit started. After forcing the mugger to surrender, there was no dialogue without third party mods, no wallet found or other items stolen. I tried this call several times but the results were the same each time. I think adding a custom inventory to the mugger (a wallet, a watch, jewellery) would help polish off this call providing the player with a reason to charge the suspect. I'd also be interested to see the mugger flee on a sanchez or something - just for that added touch of variety. The MVA however was what confused me. It plays out EXACTLY as it does in another callout pack. The make, model and position of the cars, the lack of interaction options and a forced pursuit are all the same. This kind of call is a welcome addition but it needs filling. Let us question the drivers: - Which car were they driving? - Who do they believe is at fault? - Was alcohol/drugs/speed a factor? Small details which help fill out this call and add variety. I appreciate the work that you've put into your pack - heck, it's not something I could make - but I honestly feel that it's anything but variety and is offering the same calls as other packs. Maybe have a look at the mugging and MVA calls again and see if you can avoid having them always become pursuits. I think this would go a long way to improving your pack. The actual pursuits are okay, though I'd be interested from an RP point of view to know why I'm in a pursuit. Is the vehicle stolen? Did the driver just commit a felony? Did the just assault an officer? Hope you take this comment as it's intended - honest feedback. I enjoyed your pack but would like to see improvements made. Thanks for sharing it with the community 👍

LSPDFR 0.4.2 - Coming Soon!
Or you could ask for help from the thousands of users who have installed LSPSFR correctly and enjoy playing it? Seriously, what are you expecting people to say? "Wow, I'm going to ignore the whole LSPDFR community now because a random user told me its trash!" Geez, grow up and move on. If LSPDFR isn't working for you, and you're not using any additional plugins, then you've installed it wrong - that's on you, not Sam and his team.

ProLaser 4 Radar Gun
Great idea, however I'd imagine the only way of doing this would be to move the notification box onto the gun like this (excuse the terrible copy/paste job):

City of Los Santos Police Pack
I honestly wasn't sure of this pack to begin with, but now that I've given it a go, I've fallen in love. I'm using a selection of the vehicle textures on offer and intend to try some of the others out soon. If you're considering trying this pack in your game - go for it! You won't regret it! The author has done an amazing job with these and deserves all due recognition.

LSPDFR 0.4.2 - Coming Soon!
So what you actually mean is that you wish there was more communication between mod authors who have similar mods to avoid conflicts from happening rather than the LSPDFR team? Playing GTAV on a controller is easy enough, but with a heavily modified LSPDFR it becomes a chore unless you know what you're doing. To help combat this, I use 'Free Me!' #55 made for me by Narobic before he went AWOL. I also made further modifications to set #55 in order to remove the rest of the bits I didn't want. At the time, I didn't know how to do it but I've since learned 🙂 I use Xpadder with three different sets of button inputs (which activate with a modifier key) to control all my mods, including ELS (It's worth noting that I also use custom ini files so the below buttons may not make much sense to you). I hold LB and press: - B to change between lighting stage one, two and three, - LS for the horn. - DPadLeft for siren 3, - DPadUp for siren 1, - DPadRight for siren 4, - Hold DPadDown to get the modifier siren (not really sure what it's called but the default key is T). If I hold: - DPadUp for half a second I can open/close PoliceSmartRadio, - DPadDown for half a second I trigger the Cop Holster animation, - Back and press DPadUp I use the 'LShift + Y' keys (this is useful for both Interaction+ and callouts that require you to press Y to further the conversation, - Back and press DPadDown I use the 'LShift + T' keys (this is also used in Interaction+), -LB and press RB I trigger ALPR Lite on/off. I sometimes switch these keys out for other functions as required (such as the 'G' key for use with K9 Partner). Not sure if that helps at all? *EDIT* I've also changed the weapon flash light accessory from DPadRight to DPadUp to avoid conflicts with many mods that also utilize DPadRight.
