I had a similar issue but I managed to resolve it by reinstalling the game. But of course, that's just my case, may not work for you.

That's not the issue. The things under the dummies need to be called the dummy name, then the LOD or COL. So for example: boot - boot_L0 - boot_L1 - boot [COL] or misc_c - misc_c_L0 - misc_c_L1

I don't think you quite know how to convert the car (no offence). Try checking out various tutorials on the internet (like http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/vehicle-modification-tutorial/basics-of-converting-a-car-from-gta-sa-to-gta-iv-r3 and others).

Could you post a pic of your entire hierarchy?

As said by GreenAid, someone on Google Sketchup made it. Then it was converted to GTA SA by BxBugs123. Then converted to GTA IV by BritishPoliceMods. Also, there's not point actually doing anything to this model. It looks bad now and regardless of what you try and do to it, it'll still look bad.

Just so you know, you don't need to download all the numbered files from the upload here. I'd recommend sticking with the manual installer (marked number 3).

The structure of the cars is still the same. Nothing has changed, except lights that are on moving parts (eg. doors) - they won't look right with ELS v8. Other than that, all other cars without lights on moving parts should work fine.

Perhaps try restarting your project from scratch. Also, have you made sure there's no texture conflicts?

Have you actually added the texture to the .wtd?

There's no need to. Unless of course you have auto-save disabled.

Have you tried deleting your save? Although you don't have any saved cars, it could still help.

He said in a post a few hours before yours that he had an ETA but now he can't say for sure...

Yeah, I know lol. I don't think it's worth putting the time into editing that terrible site's logo...hardly anyone on it anyways, and if there are people on it, most likely they're staff... On topic: No probs. I was asked the same question about the original GTA files and I'm not too sure either.
