  1. That's not Cj's. It's either the one Tim98/Deco/Napoleon modified or it's the unmodified one by F5544. Cj24's one has a 3D grill on it. And no. All Crown Vics have trims. If you remove it, it'll look weird.
  2. Try using a different DSF model, I'd recommend Cj24's. Or just remap the trim - go into polygon mode, select the trim polygons and detach. Then assign it to a different texture and if need be, remap it so it doesn't look weird.
  3. Make sure to add the textures for everything you used (car, lightbars etc) into the respective slots .wtd
  4. ^This, it was re-released on another site called GTA-Universe by KevinDV himself. However, that website is no more. As far as I know, the model hasn't been re-released anywhere else.
  5. Not that I know of. As far as I'm aware, calculating the normals will get rid of the darkness on the wheel.
  6. This too. However, it won't solve your problem of the wheel being black. It'll simply solve another problem that you'll run into further down the line.
  7. Try calculating the normals. Surface > Normals > Calculate and click.
  8. It doesn't matter where you put it. Click the little + symbol next to the error to get more info and paste it into tags
  9. Be sure not to do that. It's pointless and unnecessarily increases the .wtd size. OpenIV automatically adds the vehshare textures from vehshare.wtd when viewing the model. Have you imported all the textures of the car?
  10. Nobody can tell you the solution unless you tell us the problem... What error are you getting?
  11. It shouldn't. To be absolutely certain, hide the parts that you're not going to be scaling (or will be later).
  12. B is probably the simplest option. Just note down the X, Y and Z values before and once you're done scaling change them back to the originals. Or, you could drag everything out of the dummies and hide the dummies and then scale away and place everything back into the dummies once your scaling is done.
  13. Is it fine in game?
  14. What exactly is happening? The picture is a bit small...
  15. Here's an LCPD:FR styled mod for SA: '&do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> As for other mods, I'd suggest GTAPoliceMods.com
  16. You don't add a lightbar on the roof?
  17. I guess. I've never tried my hand at ped modeling. But judging by the name it is the spec and replacing it with a 8x8 black image will make it so there's no shine to it.
  18. They may well could be. Spec maps range from being the texture itself to another random texture. Spec maps basically control the 'shine' of something. For something to be a matte colour, you'd want a really dark spec map and for something that's shiny, you'd want a light spec map.
  19. No. Those are the normal maps
  20. The name could be anything. In other words, I cannot answer that.
  21. The one I'm talking about is one you'll have to make. The spec maps for models that are already made will be located in the model's .wtd file which can be explored using programs such as OpenIV and SparkIV.
  22. Simply make an 8 px X 8 px black image and use that
