  1. This takes place in Louisiana; An old lady is travelling down the highway speeding a bit. A Louisiana State Trooper pulls her over. As the woman rolls down her window, the trooper asks if she knows why he pulled her over. The old woman replies, "If you're going to sell me a ticket to one of your Police Balls, I don't want one!" The tropper says, "Ma'am, the Louisiana State Troopers don't have balls." There is a silence for a few moments, and the trooper says, "Have a nice day miss and drive safely." And walks back to his car. A highway patrolman pulls over an older Italian gentleman for driving in the HOV lane of the highway because he was the only one in the car. The officer walks to the window and says he pulled the guy over for violation. The man says, "What do you mean!? I got another guy in the car!" The patrolman asks him if he is kidding and where this mysterious man is. The man in the car pops the trunk and says, "The bastard is in the trunk! Doesn't that count as 2 or more people in the car?!"
  2. Glad to see another lightbar released. Although, I don't like the Solex very much, I think it looks very weird IMO.
  3. I know people can just google pictures of the car, but posting more/better pictures of the car can really help out the texture artist.
  4. This is very cool! I like older police cruisers, but I can't seem to find any skins that I personally like. But these are really cool!
  5. If you're referring to the corona strobes from ELS v8, I think that some vehicles aren't able to show them, but I could be wrong. If I am wrong, then make sure that the car you are using is an ELS enabled car, and make sure that ELS is turned on for that vehicle.
  6. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227507 This is my PC. I didn't have the time to sit down and do a custom build, but this has all I needed. I can run BF3 on Very High settings with no problem. I can run GTA IV with the highest resolution and an ENB with no problem, (apart from an issue I may have caused lol) and get 35 FPS lows and 45-50+ FPS normally. It even does well with recording and playing GTA. I know everybody here says build a PC, and I personally would have loved to, I love this one. The only thing I want to change majorly, is the graphics card, maybe upgrade it a bit. The 8 GB RAM doesn't give me any issue at all.
  7. By "what config", are you talking about the files that say Low end, medium end etc.? If so, I'm using very low end. I was able to use High End before and get great FPS. Also, the VRAM is what is displayed when changing the graphics settings In-Game for IV, correct? If so, then I'm only using 324/1915 MB of it, my settings are still pretty good, I mainly have water quality low and shadows low, but everything else high. As for the commandline, I am using whatever was included with the Low End settings of the install files. EDIT: Also, I know the graphics card isn't the strongest, and I know I should get more RAM, but I never had any issue with low FPS like this, even with icEnhancer installed. (I didn't really like that one as much as CryENB and Game4Video. lol) EDIT 2: I mixed some files from Game4Video and CryENB, I actually got a nice looking ENB going lol. But I still ran into the same Out of Video Memory error. Here is a pic of the settings that I have currently, as well as the commandline that I put in. The commandline is what was included in the Low End setting for CryENB. Although, since I swapped commandlines from a higher setting one, to the Low End, the video memory number jumped significantly, but it says that I am near the limit even though it is only 324/2000+MB used. As dumb as it sounds, I hadn't any issues until the last Windows update that I had to do. That was a bit of time ago, and I tried using an ENB just after but had this same issue. Before that Windows update, I ran everything just fine.
  8. As the title says, I just installed CryENB on my PC again, but for some reason, I can't get above 15-20 FPS. I ran it before with lows of 35 FPS, and highs for 45+ FPS. Would anyone know why this is happening? PC Specs: 8 core AMD FX-8320 Nvidia Geforce GTX 650 8 GB RAM 1TB HD. Windows 8.1 Like I said, I ran this same ENB on this exact PC with much higher FPS, but now all of a sudden I can't even get above 20 with it. Alright, I finally got it to run with lows at 30 FPS and highs at 45+. But, I can only play for about 3 minutes before I get the RESC10 error code, or whatever it is, that says that I am out of video memory. I never had this problem before, but now all of a sudden it is happening. Is there a fix for it?
  9. Download ALL OF THE THINGS! I feel bad for anyone using headphones to listen to that...
  10. I just saw this on YouTube. I found it pretty funny! If only someone did an LCPD version of this! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hl8D0iX7Q2s
  11. I think there is/are flashlight mod(s) out there. I'm not 100% sure though, you'd have to look. If not, it would be cool to have one. I know there is a spotlight mod for you police car at least.
  12. In the earlier versions of LCPDFR, 0.95 RC2 that I know of specifically, there was a flashlight included. You pressed, F I think, and the area around your feet lit up. I think they got rid of it because it never worked properly. WHen you would aim, I think the area around your feet stayed illuminated, not where your gun was pointed.
  13. Sorry for the bump, and if I am in the wrong, I do apologize! Anyways, I hadn't made a texture in a while, and I decided to scrap the Top Gear police car because it didn't look quite right. Instead, I am currently working on finishing up a Pennsylvania State Police texture for a Ford Expedition. I want to put it here first, before I upload it to the site so I can get some feed back on it and fix anything you guys may find. Making this was a bitch because I had trouble lining everything up right, and there are still a few lines that I need to fix. Here are some shots of what I have thus far. You'll see on the back of the truck, around the license plate, the line looks a bit wonky. That isn't my fault. That is what the model does to the line because of it's placement.
  14. Actually, scrap the Expedition. It isn't so bad, just took some getting used to. I do however, would like to ask if you would be able to make a line(s) for this: Dodge Ram. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> The actual download link is in the comments. Thanks Sgt. Kanyo, love your work, they make the game so much more realistic!
  15. Ok, so I think I figured out the issue, even if the template is sloped slightly, the livery sill comes out straight, as it should, in-game. Here is a picture of what I have so far. I had to start over from last night my power went out in the middle of working. The last thing(s) I have to do are the car numbers, the American flags that go on the rear window pillars, and the hardest part, the "State Trooper" and "State Police" text on the sides and rear of the car. I can't find any close fonts to the real thing. Does anyone have any suggestions?
  16. I have a question. What font did you use for the lettering of everything? I am having trouble finding a good one for the PSP Expedition I'm making.
  17. I have 75 episodes saved on my DVR, I think I have a good amount of COPS to watch. lol.
  18. Yeah, that's what I was kind of disappointed with. But I really wanted to do one since there aren't really any Ford Expeditions in GTA IV. lol. I did find another Expedition on GTA4-Mods made by Dhruv/Fulcrum, but it isn't that high of quality, nor is the template, but with the template, it is more level and has the door handles I can line up with. I'm going to give it a h'whack on that one.
  19. I tried the first one as well, same problem. The first one is lower down and completely straight. This is irritating. haha. I think what I'm going to do is, I'm going to make both, and then put pics of them here to see which is better liked, then release that one. lol
  20. My issue is since the body of the truck is slanted slightly, I'm having trouble lining up the thick dark line properly. It should be situated level with the door handles, and be straight across. but in order for it to be level with the door handles on the template, the line has to be sloped slightly. And when I put the skin on the truck itself to test it, its sloped, not level and straight. This throws off the entire rest of the skin.
  21. So I am currently trying to make a Pennsylvania State Police skin for an Expedition, but I am having a few issues that I would like some tips on. 1. There are 2 versions of the Expedition I can do - This one: Or this one: The main difference is the placement of the dark line. On the first one, it is lower on the body, whereas the second one, it is higher up; it goes through the door handles. My issue is, the template that I am using, has the body of the Expedition sort of canted at an angle, not level and flat like the pictures. Here is a pic of the work so far + my issue: I want to be able to make the dark line go flush with the door handles, like the second picture, but I'm not sure how to since the template is at an angle. Any texture people able to give me some tips on this? Thanks in advance!
  22. Thanks! I like how it said "Taken from a drug dealer on a bust" or something like that. lol.
  23. Here are a few pics from my local dept. They aren't really "classic", but they are pretty old. 1997 CVPI 1997 Ford Ecoline This is from the Pitcairn PD, not far from where I live. What is this lightbar?! lol 1992 Caprice Not really classic, but nifty all the while! Not a very fast car I would assume. Crime prevention in a minivan? hmmm... This one is sweeeeeeet!
  24. Mmmmmm, yes. Lot's of lights on this one..... I LOVE IT! lol. Xmas trees are my favourite type of police car, but I do agree with whoever said it above, a bit more rear lighting, other than that, fantastic!
  25. Very nice, I love the amount of lights on it. Although I'm not a fan of that lighbar, still very nice!
