7zip will open any file type, to my knowledge at least. That's what I use I don't have any problems with it.

I have the 64-bit Win7, my suggestion would have been run it as an administrator. but you seem to have gotten it fixed.

I'm not sure where you would find that. I know I can tell when my setup starts to run at higher temps, it runs harder/louder, performance begins to slowly slip. My guess for core temp would be where your list of all the things for your PC are.

I've never played ArmA. Anything I've read about it say it's awesome. Anyone know where I could pick up a copy of it? ArmA 2.

I'm not any type of computer whiz or anything but I didn't think any type of overheating would cause texture loss. If anything, overheating would cause extreme lag and possibly even a CTD I thought.

I never used Chrome just for personal preference but anything I've read on it has said that it is one of the fastest out there too.

How does chrome or firefox not work half the time?! I have used firefox since I can't remember when. I never have a problem with it. The only time I can't use firefox is when I don't have internet or power.

I get an error saying that d3dx9_45.dll is missing, click ok a few times and it goes away and runs just fine. I have GTA IV(base game) with the latest patch, 1.0.7.0 and it runs fine, well apart from the lagginess from poor pc performance. But ICenhancer works with GTA IV. 2.1 even comes with all the files that you need in order for it to run with the latest patch. EDIT: I think I'm using dsound. Which ever .asi loader comes stock with LCPDFR is what I'm using. I don't seem to have any problems with it.

The game crashes when you run LCPDFR? And I'm running incenhance 2.1 so it will work.

Agree with george, the machine I have was high end at the time, now its quite low now. :(

Pulled a guy over and walked up to the window, "You're a dick." The fact you call everybody in the game a twat is hilarious.

I have an ATI Radeon 6750(? cant remeber the model name offhand) HD card in my desktop and I have some trouble running it. Not sure if you're able to or not.

Without C++ and .NET4, LCPDFR wouldn't even initialize, let alone install.

I was having sort of the same problem but i tried to use icenhancer to fix it but it got all snowy like on a telly with no channel. :( I have a thread called Icenhancer problem.

GTA is one pickey motherfucker. YOu add one too many cars and its like, "Well fuck you I'm gonna crash." Then there are times you can play and for no reason it whips out the "Fuck you! Gonna crash again!" It's like GTA is bipolar or just doesn't like being used or played at certain times. lol

if he didn't have the .NET and C++ installed correctly, I didn't think that LCPDFR would even initialize.

I opened up the 2.1 folder, Ctrl+A to copy everything into the directory and then did the same for the files that didn't go into the directory i.e. the subfolders; common, data, pc. Those folders. EDIT: Iconography, I was looking over the files again and the stock files on my desktop and there isn't even a file called d3dx9_43.dll on either one, my desktop and the icenhancer folder...da fuq?!
