I just downloaded icenhancer and after I installed the files to where they go, I went to start it up (always running it as admin) but this error came up: LaunchGTAIV.exe - System Error The program can't start because d3dx9_43.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem. I know I put the files where they belong and everything. I just don't know what do to next to try an repair it. BTW I'm running the latest version of GTAIV, 1.0.7.0, I think is what the version is, I know its up to date though. EDIT: The game starts up after the error message but once it opens and loads up, it looks like the snow thing you get on a teley when there isn't a channel. This is what I get... Thanks in advance!

My local PD, the one of my profile picture, Monroeville PD, uses all Crown Vics. All but 3 of our cars are Crown Vics. We have 2 Ford Explorers and 1 Ford Fusion(unmarked). Not sure how long until we switch over to the new Interceptors, the Taraus with the ECO-Boost V6. It will be so weird not hearing a suoercharged V8 going past...I always liked the Crown Vics.

I once got a call on my cell phone by one of these people. The guy claimed his name was Jackson, meanwhile he sounded like he was ripped right out of his village in India. LOL. He had me do the event viewer on my desktop, but I was running Linux at the time. (I have Win7 and Linux installed) So I went along with it on my laptop while playing GTA IV on my desktop. I ended the conversation after about 15 minutes of me pretending to be a computer retard. I ended it by saying that I knew he was a scammer and then blasting the Trolol song thru the phone at him until he hung up. LOL. This happened about 2 weeks ago.

I got GTA IV on both my laptop and desktop. It actually runs better on my laptop. Granted I get shit FPS on both, 5-10 FPS on the desktop and 10-20 FPS on the laptop (da fuq?)

I agree with what gnat said earlier, IF you do fight, let him throw the first punch, have lots of people around to see that he did throw the first one. But if he does throw it, let it hit you in the arm or somewhere that won't hurt as much, that way you have evidence that he stuck you and struck first. But before any of that, talk to your parents, talk to school administrators, keep the message from Xbox, maybe take a photo of it so you have solid proof of him threatening you. If it gets serious enough, as in he starts to follow you places or harass you at your home, then you might want to get the police involved. BUT!!! Only use the fight and an extreme last resort. ONLY if you talk you school admins and your parents a bunch of times and nothing gets done about it. Like davem said, kids tend to act like hardasses and stuff over the internet, 99% of the time, they won't actually have the balls to approach you and start anything. Also, if you do get into a fight and plea selfdefense and it works, I'm pretty sure that you can press assault and terroristic threat charges on him. Maybe battery charges, not sure what they fall under.

Haha, Specs for my desktop are: QuadCore AMD Phenom 9600 I think 2.5 or 3.5 GHz 640 gig hard drive 4 gigs of RAM ATI Radeon HD 6750 or 7650, can't remember My Laptop specs: QuadCore AMD A6 at 1.50 GHz 500 gig hard drive 4 gigs of RAM ATI Radeon HD graphics card, not sure what model. How much for it? haha. I highly doubt I can afford it. Just bought the new laptop and that was almost every penny I had. :(

I was just wondering if there was an ETA on when they would be back up since they've been down for a while. Did something happen to them that fucked them up or is it just routine maint.? Like I said, just wondering.

200 FPS?! You run at 200 FPS? Holy Shit! On my desktop I can usually get 5-10 FPS and that's with the graphics settings fairly low. My laptop usually gets around 10-20 FPS.

Great vid. Spotted some SWAT 4 sounds and chatter from 9/11 radios from firemen in the towers. That part sounded like news coverage of the bank robbery in I think LA or Hollywood, I forget when though. That was a fantastic video.

Yeah, that's what I get. Thanks for the support. Now, I dont know about you guys but I have to use the LaunchGTAIV to run it, I'm assuming that you all have to do that. I'm taking a shot at running that as an admin to see if it will work. I'll get back to see if it does work. I'll be damned!! It worked!! Thanks for yinz support!

Not sure if this goes here or in LCPDFR Support, but I was in a thread where people were talking about how to get into locked places in GTA IV and someone posted a link to a simple native trainer. I downloaded it and put the correct files in the main directory but I get an error saying the access is denied to a certain file, I run the game as an admin. Also because the SNT replaces the ScriptHook.dll, does that mean I can't use ELS? Since ELS too replaces the ScriptHook.dll?

Spec Ops: The Line is a fantastic game, really makes you think about the decisions that you make in the campaign.

Just a little insight I was given and will speak of even though the topic is solved, I modded all my cars except the NOoSE Cruiser and the game was crashing, I was told to disable the AI ELS so their cars don't use ELS, I did that and the game works perfectly.

I think it's because of the Crime Stats being down for maint. because I'm getting the same thing. It will probably be solved once the Crime Stats are back up.

Do i have to download an .asi loader or anyhting? Can I use this with ELS, since this and ELS both replace the ScriptHook.dll file?

Download the G17 Diagnostics tool, Run it and copy and paste the results here. Using this tool can help miles more than saying, it won't work. Also, give more details, what error comes up (if any), when it freezes/crashes, what you're doing when said failure occurs etc. It will help out much more and get you back to playing the game quicker.
