Yeah, I just got a new laptop, Samsung, and was wondering the same thing. I HIGHLY doubt that it can run it but here are the specs: QuadCore AMD A6 with Radeon Graphics card (Not sure what model to be exact) 4 gigs of ram 500 gig hard drive I can change the settings of the processor to power save or performance. Would this be at all adequte? Or way subpar to even attempt to play? Side note: I have a question about FRAPS, the ingame recording program, where should I post for this, its not related to GTA IV or LCPDFR? Thx. Sorry for that quick threadjack. I've never tried it in single player but I know for sure that it unlocks it and it can open in Multiplayer, at least on a console it can. Btw, where can I get this simple native trainer that I keep seeing? Custo, is that a link of this trainer thing? ^^^

I'm running RC2 and I rarely get Code 4 Muggings. If anything, I get Code 4 Domestics and Code 4 fleeing suspects, and Code 4 drug deals.

Well, first off, you read Asunas reply wrong, he said, in a nutshell, is "why bother asking your question if what your question is about isn't working" It updates every 6 hours so what ever you've done in those 6 hours will probably be updated once the crime stats are back up and running. And if not, move on and arrest people. I don't really see how they are being douche bags if their point is valid. If you want to feel really special while the crime stats are down, why don't you make a handwritten chart of all of your arrests and whatnots to make yourself happy and stop pissing people off, I too completely agree, your name says it all, you are Wasting My Time.

If you decide to download ELS, anything I've read and any answers for questions I've had on ELS, download ELS V5. ELS V6 is great, just V5 is more stable than V6 and it won't crash your game. Welcome to the LCPDFR community and hope you enjoy everything.

I'd love to see the ability to call in roadblocks, or like in Need For Speed Most Wanted where you got a heavy unit to smash into the perp if youre in a pursuit.

Google works just fine. download the installer and just google everything in the list on the installer and download it. It ain't that hard to figure out.

By some crazy miracle, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and now it seems to work just fine!! You guys will have to give me about a 10 minute head start because for some reason it take a god-awful amount of time to start up. BUt once it's started it runs great!

I had the issue with the ELS crashing the game, I kept the cars but turned the AI ELS off, so their cars don't use ELS.

I was going to say that if you were having trouble importing the files using sparkIV, check out my YouTube channel, I made a tutorial on how to do that. If you want, I can make a tutorial on how to reskin the cars if you still need help. If so, you will have to check it out tomorrow, it takes forever to upload the videos.

I didn;t read through all the pages of the comments, and it's been a while, but I run an ATI Radeon 6700 HD graphics card, so if they are kinda close, then yeah I'm guessing that it'll run it. I run an AMD Phenom 9600 quad-core @ 2.30 GHz with 4 gigs of ram and an ATI Radeon 6700 HD graphics card. It (GTA IV) still runs at a grueling 7-10 FPS with pretty much every non-sytem oriented process closed and GTA's graphics and the lowest they can go. From my understanding, this isn't a bottom shelf setup, but also not a top shelf one either, so is this good enough? Or can I do better?

Ok so I decided that I was going to try to make myself a skin of my hometown police department but I have no idea how to do this. Does anybody have any tutorials or files that they don"t ever use or need that I could edit. All credit would be given to those who help and whatnot.

Sweet! This just saved me from having to go out and drop 20 bucks on the play and charge kit for the xbox. Its kinda retarded that the PS3 comes with the charging cord and the cord is the same for alot of thingss, my camera's usb cord for example, but yet the xbox doesn't come with one and it's a weird one at that!! Just more way MIcrosoft drains your wallet! Thanks again, I'm gonna do this when I get home.

For my ELS I just have the default keys for the lights, when I press J to turn the lights off, the siren also turns off. I have found, though, that the G key to cycle through the sirens doesn't affect the traffic moving out of your way, but I know that it's supposed to be like that and it's no biggie. As for assigning the key, I'm not 100% sure but I think that you do have to add num infront of the number, so it would be NUM 7, I think.
