They come and go, the pursuits seem to be the most rare, but there really aren't "takedowns" you can punch them, hit them with your car, taze them, but you will have to have either your firearm or taser out and press E to arrest them. Although, I had seen a mod by Braveheart(?) that added even more call outs or something, I was looking into it when I saw your thread, so I would defenantly check that out. As for your guns, I don't know what to do about them, when I go on duty I usually keep them all because if I get into a shoot out I like to have my M4, G36, Shotgun, and Glock handy for any situations.

Anytime. With the callouts, yes, there are more calls. There are domestic disputes, suicidals, pursuits, drug deals, muggings, shots fired(sometimes a prank call), shoot outs, and I think a few more but I can't remember. As far as I know, there aren't any hostage situations. BUt that may change in the future. I have all the cars except the NOoSE cruiser and the Police Stockade modded with cars, all have ELS though. I also have an ambulance and firetruck modded with ELS too. The guns that I have, hmmm, I think I have a SWAT pack that I got from another GTA Modding site, forgot the name, and a G36 from the same site. All the cars that I have and plan to get are ELS, but there are plenty of high quality Non-ELS cars on here. EDIT: As for the indicator script, I haven't had any problems with it. But I guess people have, I just remembered that I also use the DashCam mod made by i think Sniper is his name, or something along the lines of that. EDIT: EDIT: I play on the same save as my regular campaign since you earn money by doing call outs and things of that nature. Just BEFORE you save your game, o to the police station, go to the back to go off duty, exit the station, THEN PRESS ALT+P TO EXIT LCPDFR. If you don't exit LCPDFR then I am pretty sure GTA has a shit fit and won't use that save. So I would just exit LCPDFR before saving just to be on the safe side.

Its really all to your personal liking and preferences. ELS gives a good, realistic flash to the lights on your cruiser, but it also makes the car indestructable, I like ELS, but some people prefer not to use it. Although I do recommend using the Indicator script, which adds turn signals to your car, which adds to the realism. As for the pursuits, when you do a traffic stop, some people will comply, others will to a point, and some will run as soon as you ask them to pull over, They are also randomly strewn throughout the callouts. I know that I'm late but I just reinstalled GTA IV on my laptop and when I closed the game I got this error. First time loading the game since I installed it. Should I delete the saved game?

I can't see to find said F-350. I can only find textures for it. I downloaded a GMC Ambulance, but it shows up gray. Lights and all work, but the texture is gray. Gonna keep looking, thank yinz for your help though! EDIT: I just found a car pack made by Fartknockr that has an ambulance in it so I downloaded that and am gonna try that. It also had cars that replace all the other Emergency Vehicles. Looks really good too. Cred to him for making the pack and to those who made the models.

I've been searching on LCPDFR and GTAPoliceMods for a replacement ambulance for the stock one and I can't seem to find one anywhere, the only things that I can find are the textures, but I was looking for the model...if anyone has one, has a site or a link to find one...could you please post it here? Thanks!!

I was around four when it happened, all I remember was getting picked up from daycare by my grandfather and he was carrying his gun. He NEVER brings his gun anywhere. He tookk me home and my parents, my grandparents, and I all watched as 9/11 happened. I still get a bit emotional whenever I see things about 9/11. Especially the documentaries.

COPS, Worlds Wildest Police Videos, Alaska State Troopers, Longmire, The Glades, NCIS( if that's a cop show). They had 1 episode of COPS that was shot in Pittsburgh, ONLY 1. The guy had a mullet and a giant mustache (it was early 2000s, WTF?) and whilst in foot pursuit, he repeatedly yelled, "Git on the grahnd! I'm gonny taze yinz if yous don't git on the grahnd! Don't make me tase yinz!" I think that is why they never came back to Pittsburgh... oh and the spelling of ground and gonna like they are is my attempt at trying to express the Pittsburgh accent some people have.

I was on a flight to South Carolina today to visit some family and while I was in the air, I decided I was going to play some LCPDFR. Well apparently about 6 passengers around me were quite interested and started asking me about the mod and stuff about it. Of course I reffered them to the site, but I showed them some of the feature of the game and the different things that you can do to it. They seemed to have liked it. Although I don't think me laptop did, after about 20 min of playing I was sitting at about 45% battery life from a full charge. Oh well, at least the battery was used for something awesome!! But I just thought I'd post here and speak of this encounter!

He would need GFWL, and .NET Framework or else he couldn't get LCPDFR to start, let alone install. My suggestion, reinstall GTA IV the LCPDFR but run EVERYTHING as an administrator.

The only thing that doesn't work for me is that I get the red sky at certain distances away from me. No big deal for me, I don't really care how the sky looks, but there is a fix in the ICenhancer 2.1 .zip file with instructions on how to fix it. Other than that I don't know of anything else that does or doesn't work.

One of my friends is a full on brony, but he said the show is a million times better when he watches it when he smokes pot. Lol. I'm just waiting for the day when he gets busted for possesion though, as many laughs will have been had.

Which version of ELS is he using? If he is using ELS V6 tell him to maybe try and switch to ELS V5 since it is stable. V6 is still being worked on I think so it still has some major bugs in it, try it and see if it helps.
