  1. All you can do is load GTA V normally, then alt + tab out of the game and load Rage that way. I'm not sure what the deal is, but myself and a couple others are having this issue after originally being able to launch the game through Rage.
  2. I've been having major texture loss after going on duty with my old cars from 0.3. I wonder if this fixes that? Will try and let you know.
  3. Streaming LSPDFR 0.4 for anyone who can't play right now!
  4. Can't play right now? I got you covered! Come on in!
  5. I sure can! Yeah, I'm just not talented or patient enough. Lol I'm using Asheville as LSPD, Pender County as BCSO and SHP as SAHP.
  6. Except for doing the modeling/texturing work myself, I've already beat you to it! All of my departments in game are rocking NC agency skins. I'll see if I can't get some pictures up and tag you.
  7. I check in once a day, as again, I'm not chomping at the bit for 0.4. I just want to know when it releases so I can watch the plugin development so I can better judge when I'll have to make the switch. I always felt as though the users in question (making the posts about when it's going to be released) were all just making predictions. I don't think anyone here who knows how the real world operates puts much thought into the predictions those users are making. And if they do, it doesn't ultimately matter anyway. Live and let live my man. 😉
  8. "We can now confirm that we'll be releasing LSPDFR 0.4 in February, 2019." While it's not a specific date, it is kinda a date in the sense that we can expect it on or before February 28, 2019. As someone who isn't chomping at the bit for 0.4 (thanks FiveM), but who will adopt it after some support is available, if seeing people excited for 0.4 triggers you, you might wanna stay away from the forums (and in particular, the 0.4 February confirmation thread).
  9. I would definitely remove your police4 files and return to vanilla any carvariations, etc. you messed with in the process (just pertaining to police4) and see if that fixes your problem. If so, there's an installation error or possibly just a bad model.
  10. Make a post in LSPDFR Support and I'll be glad to try and help you out.
  11. It will probably need upgrading just based on the fact that I don't recall Gateway ever having been a gaming computer company, but maybe you have something special. What are the specs? A general rule of thumb is that it will take roughly $600 to build a desktop that will play GTA V at 1080p comfortably on low/medium settings. About $1K to have GTA V running smooth at High/Very High and $1,500 to run on Ultra. Now that's just assuming you play regular ole GTA V without mods. Rage Plugin Hook and LSPDFR combine to take away about 20-25FPS off the base game, plus any plugins, which are generally resource heavy. That's why when you look at all the YouTubers running LSPDFR loaded with cars and plugins, they have top of the line i7/i9 CPUs and GTX 1080 or better GPUs. Those are $2K plus rigs. If you can sacrifice some settings and deal with 40-50 FPS then you can have a solid GTA V/LSPDFR PC for around $800. For more on GTA V requirements, see this link. But keep in mind those requirements and recommendations don't take into account the LSPDFR world.
  12. You will literally spend 1.5-2x more money on a laptop to run GTA V with LSPDFR and other add-ons than you would a desktop. Ask me how I know. Granted, I have a desktop too, but it's nice to be able to game on the go. I'm rocking an Alienware 17 R5 with an i7-8750H and GTX 1070. Even at lower settings I only see 40-50FPS in the city with LSPDFR loaded.
  13. I recall being six months plus without updating. When does the forcing update start and how does it work? Most of my issues with LSPDFR are with things that are probably impossible to change, and keep it stable, unless you're Rockstar or a developer with the tools to do it. So I don't see 0.4 as being a big deal for me personally.
  14. I, too, resist updates as long as humanly possible. I think this was my last update until 0.4 releases. Even then I'll probably keep these files somewhere and switch out from time to time depending on how 0.4 is and how quickly it's supported.
  15. Started a YouTube channel late last month and am trying to upload content every other weekday. So far so good. It won't always be LSPDFR related, but the channel will skew heavily towards it. Anyway, check it out if you will and let me know what you think! I'll embed the most recent episode of LSPDFR below. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYzx0HWqEF-Yx3FyAlbXvpg
  16. Technically going on duty makes you immune from police attention, but if that is your only goal, LSPDFR is a very involved and system heavy way of doing that. Just download a trainer, I recommend Simple Trainer, and you can make yourself invincible to police attention (as well as a TON of other cool things).
  17. I greatly appreciate it. Skin Control does work with the latest update and it does exactly what I want it to. Thank you!
  18. Thanks Giordano! Also thank you for moving my topic to the correct location and sorry for the wrong section post! Now, can you tell me if between Skin Control, EUP and Simple Trainer there is a way to save my character WITH the tattoos, or do I start fresh every time I load my character from EUP? The simple solution would be for me to try it, but I'm at work and unable to for awhile. Thanks again.
  19. At one time I had six additional vehicles (I know, not a lot). But my game went from not working to working with that config, and it's up to date for the latest update, so it checks your boxes. Just make a backup beforehand and revert back if it breaks.

  21. I've been trying to figure this out forever, obviously to no avail. I spawn my created character in EUP, select my desired agency and equip my officer the way I want, then move to the Simple Trainer menu and try adding tattoos. Out of the 80 or so available for the left arm, in particular, making a change produces 0 actual physical change to my player. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance for any assistance!
  22. I'm just curious if anyone has got this pack to work from a fresh install recently? Every time I try to add it my game crashes on startup. That's without ELS, without RPH launching from the get go, etc. His sheriff/FBI pack work fine though.
  23. I'd be happy to help! Let me know what exactly you need help with and the best means to communicate with you and lets get the ball rolling!
  24. Makes sense, thanks for shedding light on the issue. Would a fix be something you're willing to find? I know its not your problem and you probably have better, more enjoyable things you could be doing, but I would greatly appreciate the help in fixing this, because I absolutely love your cars. I just like the SAHP to have an all blue lighting setup. I'd be more than happy to make a small donation for the time and work as well. Thanks in advance either way.
  25. My personal favorite is BradM's "San Andreas State Police Vehicle Pack." So much so that every police slot in my game is currently a vehicle from this pack, sans the motorcycle. Of course each respective department has its own texture pack, but for conformity purposes, mainly lighting patterns, I've decided to stick with his vehicles. Plus the lighting just looks amazing. For police motorcycle purposes, though, I'm running the BMW RT1200 from Thehurk's "2017 California Highway Patrol Mega Pack" pack. From time to time I also replace the policeb slot with a newer SAHP SUV, eliminating the motorcycle altogether. I wouldn't advise doing this unless you really understand what you're doing though. I can also recommend you texture packs that I run personally and know to work 100% on the below vehicles if that's something you're also interested in. Good luck and happy modding!
