  1. I think you forgot to include the ELS XML? At least, I can't find it. Anxiously awaiting the ELS file.
  2. This isn't a bad model by any means, but there are two things I've noticed that are driving me crazy: 1) The environmental lighting shows what looks to be a yellow traffic pattern flash that is most noticeable at stage one, but less prominent as you advance the lighting stages, yet there are no yellow lights on the truck, and 2) the two lightbars at the front of the truck light up the rear of the truck and the rear environment as opposed to what is in front of you, and presumably what one is trying to highlight. These two fixes and I'll gladly rate the truck 5/5.
  3. If I have to make due then I will, but last time around I had no trouble reassigning the command key and would really like it back. Once I get going on this new version I plan to avoid updates as long as humanly possible. I hate this. Lol
  4. That doesn’t work for me either. I’m using Simple Trainer and have tried Native Trainer as well. Both trainers are defaulted to the F4 key the same as RPH.
  5. Long time LSPDFR player here, and I've never had an issue as simple as this, and even though I know how to fix it, I can't! So I'm starting over by deleting everything, reinstalling GTA V altogether, etc. It's something I do after playing several patches behind for awhile. Anyway, I use to have the console box activated by the F1 key versus F4, and even though I change the setting to that again, it only opens by F4. F4 interferes with my trainer, which funnily enough, also doesn't respond to having its command key changed. And when verifying the setting in RPH by holding down the SHIFT key, it has defaulted back to F4. So any suggestions on how to change either the trainer or RPH console key to F1, make it work, and make it stick? Thanks in advance.
  6. Maybe we're talking semantics now, but that's a sound file as far as I'm concerned. Lol In the vehicles.meta I changed the POLICEB "<audioNameHash />" to <audioNameHash>POLICE3</audioNameHash>" to rid of the motorcycle sound for a typical police car sound. Worked wonderfully. I'm not picky in the least as far as handling goes. As long as my car isn't rolling when turning I'm fine. Now I know how to properly adjust it though, so that's great!
  7. I greatly appreciate your help, again. Lol I remember my mistake last night was editing only the handling.meta file when trying to get a car to work in the POLICEB slot. Obviously that alone won't make it functional. I am up and running without a bike now, thankfully! All that's left to do is change the officer's outfit to the highway patrol outfit. Also make sure to edit your sound file so your new vehicle doesn't sound like a motorcycle. Haha
  8. As long as I can get POLICEB to function as the Charger I want, all is well. Going to try my hand at it now. Thanks for your help and I will update.
  9. Would taking the POLICE/POLICE2/POLICE3/etc. vehicles.meta and replacing it in POLICEB's slot suffice? I'm totally unfamiliar with replacing the motorcycle for a vehicle.
  10. So I'm looking to do one of two things here, and I really don't have a preference as to which; 1. Reassign the state patrol vehicle to use the "POLICEOLD1" slot, as it's otherwise unused but is a really nice SAHP Charger model. Or... 2. While leaving the spawn name as "POLICEB", the default state patrol vehicle, change whatever I have to change in order for that slot to be occupied by said Charger in the "POLICEOLD1" slot. Just renaming the car files and VCF doesn't work as the car sits tilted (like a leaning motorcycle) and is totally inaccessible. Any help and/or recommendations? Thanks in advance!
  11. Well that's a little disappointing. Oh well though. Thanks (again lol) for your help!
  12. I've read the PDF for editing controls, looked through the default controls PDF, etc. but still haven't been answered. I'm basically looking to make the left d-pad the equivalent of J, and B (on the controller) the equivalent of 1 on the keyboard. This would be super beneficial to me as these are buttons that are not currently mapped to any game or mod function and would speed up my response times by not having to consult the keyboard. Thanks in advance for any help. I'm honestly not sure what I'm looking to do is even possible.
  13. I'm not the best at troubleshooting, so forgive me for sounding like the other end of any popular company's tech support line, but have you verified that your monitor output is coming from the GPU and not the motherboard, i.e. running GTA V on Intel HD Graphics 630 instead of your 1080 Ti? I've seen it way too many times not to ask you, so sorry. Otherwise, hit up Reddit's PCMR section and ask there. Those guys know what they're doing!
  14. Before uninstalling, though, I'd give these two wonderful pieces a try:
  15. Either the mods you like are way different than mine, or you've done something seriously wrong (but I would suspect Kallus would've seen it first). There's a lot of stuff in your root folder that just doesn't seem right, but again, this could be your mods that I'm just not familiar with. Regardless, I would make a complete backup (which I don't know why you would want to backup a broken version), uninstall the game entirely and reinstall it, and verify it works as it is from Rockstar.
  16. I don't know a lot about Apple products, sans their phones, but you could sell your PS4 with games and accessories and your Mac and have a very nice rig. Just something to think about, if you're seriously interested.
  17. Your internet should have nothing to do with your FPS, unless you're actually playing online, and in which case it is lag, not FPS. You need to take a hard look at your system, because it's better than what I imagine 90% of people here have and you're experiencing absolutely abysmal frames.
  18. Not to butt in here, but if you can't launch the base/vanilla game from Steam, LSPDFR/RPH is not the issue. I would try my hand at a complete uninstall, then reinstall, of GTA V and confirm the game alone can and will work. Then work on the modifying portion. Can you post a screenshot of your root folder?
  19. I hate when people fix their problem and don't update how they did it, so here's my fix for anyone who may stumble across this with the same issue. The tow truck assignment was indeed in the Arrest Manager.ini as suggested by Kallus Rourke. Thanks again for your help boss!
  20. I can see how my reply would sound rude, so sorry, because it wasn't suppose to. I was genuinely thankful for your response, because some people are actually clueless about INIs. Happy gaming!
  21. I'm halfway intelligent enough to know that INI files are the first things you check to make adjustments, but thanks. I have both add-ons and don't recall seeing the option in either, but I do believe Arrest Manager was where I found it earlier, so maybe I need to carefully double check that INI this evening. Again, thanks for your help. Alternatively, I could swap the two tow truck files or just make both of them my desired choice, but seeing both around the map is refreshing.
  22. How can I change the responding tow truck courtesy of Police SmartRadio? I swear in the past I've stumbled upon a word file where I could edit the responding vehicles (such as state, coroner, etc.), but I can't for the life of me find it now that I'm comfortable and familiar enough with editing such things (obviously, right?). Thanks in advance for any help!
