Can't really comment for domestic American issues, but sounds disgusting.

Welcome to the LCPDFR forums. You should not have to change the compatibility mode for GTAIV or LCPDFR. Install GTAIV normally and then LCPDFR normally. Just remember to run the installer for LCPDFR as administrator (right click>run as admin).

You can play multiplayer with dsound.dll, I believe. Of course, it's only cracked servers. If you want to play legit servers, remove it from your GTAIV folder.

Make a post like you are doing now and add people. :) Once you see them online, you can play together. LCPDFR and GTAIV keys conflict sometimes, so you might want to change the keys around.

Run as admin?

Can you try turning off unnecessary programs? Also, make sure you are not switching to GFWL (pressing Home button) while it is loading.

You can download custom police cars at www.gtapolicemods.com The site is currently down for upgrades. Should be back later. LCPDFR works with both custom police cars and the original police cars installed in GTAIV.

Police forces around the world are routinely issued with batons, i.e. expandable batons at their disposal. However, in my country (Australia) and in some countries, I have seen physical confrontations (hand to hand) where police officers have immediately resorted to OC/pepper spray or in the US, Tasers. Could someone with a policing background or experience explain why officers are not instructed to use their batons which I think are the most least used equipment in an officer's arsenal?

Some of the buttons now look horrible since you performed a mini-update to the Software upgrade. eg. Post button. Otherwise, it's all good being able to see page numbers in forums.

Yes, from the videos it's a game where you control and dispatch units. I'm just wondering what can you do? Can you set up a SWAT team?
