  1. 1. Correct. Checking id on foot, witch poissibility of invalid passport/visa, warrants of arrest for various reasons and various people behavior. 2. That option was axed as it was totally useless. But no worries there is new one in that place already. 3. Correct 4. Correct I will reveal everything in details really soon. 3 of 5 are 95% ready. 2 are in basic form and need to put some life in them. For now I have one major bug to fix (in function telling user there is a new version of mod) and thats why it still is not tested by others.
  2. I will tell you cool story. I was heading on foot to my PD to end my shift when I saw a bum hanging around. He looked suspicious so I've decided to ask him for ID. Immidiately he starts running away and jumps in police cruiser parked in front of PD! After few minutes he crashed and flew from car window killing himself. I still wanted to know why the hell he was running away so I've checked his papers. He was Anthony Curtiss, born 1 JUL 1966, adress 198 2nd St., Los Santos (think that was his old adress). He had warrant of arrest for being involved in rape case. One scumbag less. Now guess what new feature is coming ;)
  3. WillPv23 random intervals are obvious. I was talking about being able to set min and max time to wait for new callout.
  4. Bravehart, do you plan to add settings for minimal and maximum time between callouts? Something like in LCPD:FR. I ask because I want to add some callouts for my mod in the future and 3 callouts at the same time may be a bit too much for some officers ;)

Sometimes you will have thief that will go to hideout/chop shop (for now 20 locations around the city). And here I am, stupid enough to try to arrest them by myself.

  7. Hats off to you! I've planned script for callouts and world events but I see it will be useless now. Looking forward for your mod.
  8. kinksta great work. Now I'm really happy that I've added those features for custom flatbeds :) If anyone is interested what's going on with PoliceHelper mod, here is some info. I'll post new screen tomorrow. It will show one cool feature of bait car section. That section of mod is almost finished. It was really difficult to make it work together with LCPD:FR but it turned out quite well and you won't have grannies stealing cars etc. Then I have to finish roadblocks and barriers. There are some problems, but they are nothing compared to those that were in bait car section. Two features are still waiting in line but one is easy to script and second one maybe will have to wait for version 2.0 ;)
  9. Congrats and big thank you to all G17 Media team, but also to all modders here and all LCPD officers. You guys inspired me to learn C# and start scripting :)
  10. That would be cool, but I think it would involve scripting. Maybe with another station. I'll keep this one as simple as possible.
  11. GTApoliceGUY123 it's because of tow mod. As far as I know you can't trigger ELS lights on AI cars. If you know any script that can do it please tell me and I'll be glad to investigate it.
  12. Nightprowler are you talking about tow script? Remember that you have to stand next to a car you want to tow while calling for truck.
  13. Oh, you ruining surprise for everyone :D Maybe nobody will notice my reply ;) I have METT/Coroner mod on my todo list but it will be separate mod, not part of policehelper as it will be even bigger and more complex than tow script. But first I have to finish policehelper.
  14. Well I'm not a programmer :) I will finish mine, mainly because I put there a lot of work and my mod works different way. Player puts a barrier or another object specified in .ini and all cars in area in front of that object slow down and stop in front of it. There is also option in menu to remove all barriers at once. I have some small problems to solve there, but it is part of bigger mod, and other features are still in progress.
  15. Damn. First bait car mod, than this. My policehelper mod (wip) is now officially useless ( I was working on these features). :/ Great job mate, looks like it's instantly one of the most useful tools.

  19. Hmmm, that's interesting. I can add "Request new police car" and deliver it just like a bait car.
  20. You need to stand next to a car you want to tow off :)
  21. Don't worry. Thief will show up, but later. Also mod will let you know if you do something wrong, for example stand near a car in uniform ;) I've seen video of capito's mod. It looks really good, but I will finish mine regardless. I've put too much work in it already to just drop it.
