  1. I add them mainly because I don't want to release only bug fixes, but when there will be no more bug reports I'll suspend (don't worry, only for some time) development of this script. There are new exciting ideas to script :D
  2. So I guess you will like new version. Apart from bug fixes it will have new dialogues for tow truck driver when car is flipped or on fire :) I hope it will be out today.

  6. Some say that everything is possible :) It is possible for sure, but really complicated. Also you have all numpad keys bind to dashcam, then spotlight script apperars and you have second script that need those keys. I don't think my script should use more than one key.

  10. Just uploaded new version that should fix problem with conflicts with other mods :) As a bonus one new feature About Airtug. I've tried to make this mod as flexible as I could, so small cars (less than ~4m) always get Biff. Airtug and Caddy would fit to van, but what if player modded them, or changed them completely to some normal cars?

  13. That's strange, I use criminalActs too. I'm fixing some small things and adding more checks if truck, driver and car exists. Scripthook will crash every time when you try to execute function on object that is not present in game. I hope it will fix some problems.   14. I'll try to investigate it. Can anyone reporting bugs reproduce them? I mean does script crash always or only sometimes? PS: I have a huge hangover so it may take some time.
  15. click ~, that far left key on your keyboard under Esc. Now in console just type showposition. You should see X,Y,Z and heading coordinates of position where you stand. Also it is good to paste here info from log file. It is in ScripHookDotNet.log file located in your main GTAIV directory (you can open it by notepad). Just copy and paste here error message and these coordinates. Oh and towMode :) Thast should help me to recreate bug.
  16. Can you send me exact position where that happened (in console type: showposition). Also to everyone who want to report a bug, pleas tell me also which towMode do you use and copy text from scripthooks log. There will be bugs for sure. It's a mod scripted by graphic designer :D

    This mod was created to help all Liberty City officers. Call for towing service and get rid of those abandoned, crashed, confiscated cars and bikes. Features: 3 modes: normal (default), fast (truck spawns nearby and drives away with a car, recommended) and rapid (truck spawns nearby and disappears with a car) 4 types of transport (vans for bikes, flatbeds for cars, drivers, mechanics and helicopters for bigger vehicles, deleting car in extreme cases) two dispatchers and various dynamic sentences for them and tow truck driver advanced truck positioning system dynamic car on truck placement, so there is strong possibility that your moded cars will work! support of moded flatbeds (see settings INI file) ability to choose colours and a name for towing company EFLC support Multiplayer support* vdH PoliceHelper support! Take a look at settings .ini file, you'll find there some nice features. *mod supports multiplayer. Mod will automatically turn to mode 2.   19. Wow, that looks bad. Sadly I can't fix it for now. I have no idea why it works that way. Maybe some functions work only for player that invokes them and that's why truck is lost so many times and what's worse car does not attach to truck. One "solution" I can think of is using rapid mode (towMode 2) in multiplayer. Or maybe there is someone who know multiplayer scripting and can help me fix this? On the plus side: others say that mod is working fine (in single player) so I'll eat breakfast, get a coffee, change blip behaviours and mod is out :)
  20. Guys, don't get too excited :) It is simple script in terms of features (I've just updated first post with final features). Just to get rid of cars with style ;) But to be honest for first-time-modder it was really really hard. Over 1000 lines of code :) I promise that I will release it tomorrow. Just have to take a look at it last time before release ;) PS: You can expect more. New WIP mod will be announced really soon. I think you may like it.
  21. Just to let everybody know. Towing Services script is almost ready to release. I only wait for feedback from my testers :)
  22. I'll check that, but as we all know A.I. are horrible drivers. I've made some fixes for it like: if truck is loaded and is stuck and up to 15m from pick up point it will change driving style to more aggressive for few seconds and then back to calm style. But there are situations that he just can't get it right. Good news is that "fast mode" is almost finished. Truck will spawn near car to pick it up and drive away, so stupid driver crashing on the way to the scene will not be a problem. I find it the most useful mode. There is also rapid mode. Truch spawns near, loads a car and disappears with it. For people who are always in a hurry :D

  24. That ramp on the back of Packer? I have rewritten whole code that spawned extras and might accidentally fix it in new version, but I'll take a look at it again.
